We swapped ranch dressing for the standard sour cream on the side, though we kept the salsa. I got chicken on mine and my wife got a side of guacamole. And they were excellent! All the veggies were fresh, my chicken was tender, and my wife liked her guac. The fried tortilla bowl wasn't greasy in the least (it was obviously a fresh-fried flour tortilla, not a prefab corn chip-ish one). I think better than half the orders we saw passing by us were fish and chips, which looked wonderful. My wife opined that it looks like this place knows how to do fried foods. Nice beer selection with several good Ontario brews on tap. We ordered a hazy IPA and enjoyed it. Service was attentive and personable. We definitely want to return to Grand Bend--and Paddington's.

Was there with a friend Saturday and witnessed an altercation where the owners daughter was screaming "do you know who the f* I am? I'm the owners f*ing daughter" at an employee. The woman she was yelling at looked at her and responded in a manner that I never could have maintained. Many kudos to that lady for keeping her cool while telling her that she did know but that doesn't give her the right to get into her money. What an unprofessional way to run a business! Seeing this assures me that I don't want to spend my hard earned money there! Especially because the owner's daughter apparently feels she has the right to help herself to it! To the lady that was attacked all I can say is get out of there! No one deserves to be treated like that! read more

I FINALLY had the opportunity to take my friend who came to visit me for lunch on a Saturday, since they open at noon on Saturdays. VERY happy I got to try this place. They have such a nice menu, different items you don't see too often as well as some of your typical bar style food BUT with a twist. What we both like is everything on their menu is prepared fresh, made to order, which a lot of places these days don't really do (even tho they say they do). I got their seafood bowl with shrimp on a bed of wild rice, with pickled onions (I put the cucumbers & avocado on the side because I don't eat them, which my friend ended up eating & she said was really tasty) & I thought it was flavorful & delicious. My friend got their Caesar salad with grilled chicken, she said it was fabulous. And she got one of their burgers to go, for her husband, which came with hand cut fries (yes, we tried some & they were delish!). And both our meals were beautifully presented too. Our server was pleasant as was the chef who came out to socialize with us. Unfortunately, they weren't busy, which is sad, because this place really is a little hidden gem in the small town of Marysville. They don't have a roadside sign or anything on their building front that's viewable from Gratiot, which was one of the things I mentioned to the chef & he told me they're working on getting one. Good to hear, because I'm sure that would bring a LOT more business in. The only reason I even knew about it was mentions on social media, otherwise, I'd never know it existed, which really is a shame because they have such a nice menu. Didn't have any beer or cocktails, because I'm not a beer drinker & my friend isn't a cocktail gal. I'm really looking forward to going back, especially now that that awful Gratiot construction is DONE, which I'm sure had a negative impact on a lot of those businesses on that stretch of Gratiot.
