We…read morefinally were able to replace 35+ year old AC this year and got Ken to install it. 9 months later I have warped floors and slime mold growing out of my floor and we discovered a wet copper line running from the outside AC, under the house and up into the attic. So I call Ken and he immediately gets defensive saying he had nothing to do with the copper line or anything under the house and told me to call a plumber. I do and the plumber says no leaks, the copper line is dripping, call your AC company. I call and leave message with his wife and never hear back from them. Sent to VM when I try again. I call another AC place to come out and he said there is a valve and a joint that was broken, if I still had a warranty to call them. I call and get Ken's wife and ask for Ken to come back and check those things and fix them. Ken then calls me and wants to know what the problem was because I got his wife all "fired up"! I asked how did I do that? And he said by telling her all these things were no good or broken. He said everything was good and nothing is wrong with the unit. Tells me to call a plumber again. I told him I did. He said as long as the house is cool the unit is fine. He was very loud, rude and very defensive. I felt attacked and bullied in this encounter. I am really beyond shocked at his behavior and their treatment of someone who was seeking help and answers to a serious problem. I didn't accuse anyone or lay blame on him. With their handling of this situation, it leads me to think that maybe he did break those valves on install and he knew it but since the unit kept going he left it that way. And he never looked or checked the old copper line that he was tying into when he installed my new unit seems negligent and unprofessional and may end up costing me a lot more money!

He was in and out within 26 minutes and charged $290 in labor. Disappointing because he has done me so well in the past and used to undercut the cost of other larger companies. He now charges twice what the larger companies charge. A-Z has lost my trust. He also offered to give me about half of what he charged me back if I had removed my one star google review, and then decided not to keep his word about giving that money back. If I could give a half star I would. I wish I had shopped around instead of trusting him.

I called Mr. Phillip for a service call about my outside fan occasionally cutting off. He made it…read moreover to me under one hour and did a diagnostics on the system. He confirmed all the outside components including the contactor and capacitor looked great. A few minutes later, he identified I had a clog in the SafeTSwitch that was shutting down the system to prevent a leak. It was just algae build-up! That's a common yearly problem. Mr. Phillip took his time and showed me all the basics on how to unclog the system using just a funnel and couple gallons of water. Phillip is both very friendly, knowledgeable, and he doesn't charge an arm & a leg for his service. I highly recommend
