After contacting three other companies and being told that Wednesday was the soonest someone could make it (one company even said they could "pencil me in for the first week of February") I was able to contact A&B at 3:00pm. Not only did they send Brandon out that afternoon, he was able to get into the unit and find that the igniter was dirty and just needed cleaning. While some people would have seen this as an opportunity to upsell a new control system or even a whole new water heater, he was able to make the repair with no new parts.
