In the plumber's defense, the tenants had not maintained the yard well and the meter... tho obvious to me as I had lived there, wasn't obvious to him. He did find it and continued the work. After the install.. all seemed to be going well. The old water heater was on a crummy, rotting piece of wood and they stuck the new one on top of it. I called to their business three different times on three different days and did get a callback eventually. They have agreed to come out and make things right, which makes me a happier customer. I was concerned, initially, about service after the sale but they have come through to make things good. The communications problem did give me pause but it happens. The second complained about his hours with this company, came and "fixed" the problem. Neither "fixed" the problem. I called The Rooter Wizard on a Sunday expecting at best an answer machine. Much to my surprise the owner of the company answered the phone! He listened and arranged to be at my home the next day. He and his workers were on time (!), clean and assessed our issues. He was under the house and in the attic. Once his assessment was complete he showed us videos of areas of concern that we could not see. He is honest, compassionate, fair and complete. He maintains open communication, is fair and prioritized work that needed asap attention vs items that could be done at a later time. There were no surprises. His work ethic is far beyond what we have found available in southern MS with all workers- not just plumbers. We have lived all over the US as Navy sailors. The Rooter Wizard maintains the highest quality work ethic we have experienced. We…read morefinally were able to replace 35+ year old AC this year and got Ken to install it. 9 months later I have warped floors and slime mold growing out of my floor and we discovered a wet copper line running from the outside AC, under the house and up into the attic. So I call Ken and he immediately gets defensive saying he had nothing to do with the copper line or anything under the house and told me to call a plumber. I do and the plumber says no leaks, the copper line is dripping, call your AC company. I call and leave message with his wife and never hear back from them. Sent to VM when I try again. I call another AC place to come out and he said there is a valve and a joint that was broken, if I still had a warranty to call them. I call and get Ken's wife and ask for Ken to come back and check those things and fix them. Ken then calls me and wants to know what the problem was because I got his wife all "fired up"! I asked how did I do that? And he said by telling her all these things were no good or broken. He said everything was good and nothing is wrong with the unit. Tells me to call a plumber again. I told him I did. He said as long as the house is cool the unit is fine. He was very loud, rude and very defensive. I felt attacked and bullied in this encounter. I am really beyond shocked at his behavior and their treatment of someone who was seeking help and answers to a serious problem. I didn't accuse anyone or lay blame on him. With their handling of this situation, it leads me to think that maybe he did break those valves on install and he knew it but since the unit kept going he left it that way. And he never looked or checked the old copper line that he was tying into when he installed my new unit seems negligent and unprofessional and may end up costing me a lot more money!

On the hottest day of the year the Air Conditioning quit . It was coming up to a holiday weekend and I was desperate for service . I called several companies but only Josh from Fleur de Lis could come out the next day . He was knowledgeable and empathetic and delivered the bad news that my HVAC was on its last legs . He instantly checked if he could get me something suitable as I care give my elderly Mother in a wheel chair . He presented two choices . I had a lot of difficulties choosing the correct unit as this is an older house with high ceilings and obtuse angles to heat and cool . I decided on the more economical unit but was apprehensive . I texted Josh several times worried over the choice . I did finally opt for the more costly unit . There were two units that Fleur de Lis put in over two separate days . They were on time , professional , and no problem was too much for them to address . Josh was concerned that my Mom had AC the entire time as she has a bad heart . I cannot put into words how wonderful this company is in general and Josh and his staff were to my Mom and our home in particular . They are the best !!
