Last evening, we experienced a blockage in our kitchen drain. We tried running water and using a plunger, to no avail. I surfed the internet looking for a local plumber and luckily came upon The Rooter Wizard. We spoke to someone on the phone and explained our situation. We were told that a person could be here first thing in the morning to inspect the problem and then give us a full estimate to repair it. To our great and pleasant surprise, when we asked the cost for the service call, we were told "0"; that they only charge for the total amount of the parts and repair according to their estimate. They further stated that there would be no service call charge if we did not accept their estimate to do the work. As a retired couple on limited income, The Rooter Wizard is unique among service providers who charge a fee just for coming to the house. It was therefore easy to request an appointment time. Nick, a professional and pleasant young man, came out early this morning and within minutes, had the drain flowing. He advised us that this problem may indicate a major problem with our garbage disposer that may require replacement and he gave us estimates for both a "snake clean-out" and/or disposal replacement, should the problem occur again. In the meantime, the sink was draining and we had the full estimate of what we may be facing in the future. Also, he gave us recommendations on using our garbage disposal and what to do for minor clogs. And true to his promise, there was no charge for the service call and estimates! This experience has definitely secured us as their customer and we are eager to recommend this honest, local company to our friends and neighbors. We woke up to a toilet that wouldn't flush, I thought it was just too much paper, so I tried the bowl auger, no luck so I took out the tank. Still no luck so I pulled the bowel. Know this caused the bowel to drain but not flush correctly. So after all day at this I ask Google to find me plumbers in my area, she gave me the top 10 reviewed for Biloxi. I called the one with the best reviews and that was the best thing I did all day. They were very busy but could get someone out the next day. When they arrived they move quickly to discover the problem, listening to me explain while they checked thing out. Well it wasn't long before I was being told the old 1950's toilet was the issue. We decided I came out better going to Home Depot & using my Military discount to buy a new one & they helped me pick it out on the web site. We made a game plan to not only change the broken one but the other outdated one while they were there. We made a date for the next day at about noon, They arrived on time, went right to work while still answering my questions and a few jokes in there to keep thing light. In just over an hour we had two fully installed & functioning toilets. Steven, the master plumber is the first and the only plumber that responded to my "emergency" in the middle of the night. All local plumbers within my areas had their answering machines on and never returned my call, but Steven picked up his phone in the first ring and came to my "rescue" even when he was 45 minutes away. His dedication to his profession is second to none! He spent his time fixing the issues and never rushed his job. The detail in workmanship, years of master plumbing experience, and knowledge/skills in bath and home renovation are something you don't see in a typical plumber. Awesome service. Steven came the day I called him even though he was working another job and came after completing that one. He immediately determined what the problem was (a simple valve release in the hot water heater and not a pipe obstruction). I couldn't believe the charge for the service because it was so incredibly reasonable. I had plumbing issues that had been going on for a while. I chose this plumber solely on yelp reviews and boy, were they right! My initial call was answered, not sent to voice mail. We made an appointment and I was so pleasantly surprised when they arrived on time. They were courteous, personable, fast and neat. The cost was very reasonable. Called with a sewer clog and needed 24 hour weekend service in Biloxi, Ms. They answered the phone and showed up within the hour. Steven was our tech and he was extremely knowledgeable and even included a camera inspection of our sewer line that found tree roots. The alarm on my septic grinder was going off. I called Rooter Wizard and Steven, the owner, came to my house the next morning. He was very personable and professional. He opened the tank, emptied it, tested the pump, then spent several minutes cleaning out all the debris. The whole time he was answering any question I asked. After all that he didn't even charge me!
