I have purchased many appliances from Johnston's Home Center and they have always been so helpful and very careful when setting up the new and removing the old. It was very fortunate that Black Friday sales were going on so got a great value for my new GE Washer.

I had a…read morewarranty to replace my washing machine and was told which machine I could get, but I would have to buy another extended warranty. I didn't have the cash, they have a program, and a couple of months I'd have it paid. OK. I applied for the program a day or so later, the washing machine was delivered, no paperwork. Long story short, according to SNAP Finance, the Extended Warranty can not be paid for in payments. Johnstons says I had a balance on the washing machine, delivery charge, and tax for $290.?? Not the $149. And I paid over $700 to pay SNAP off. If I can keep from it I will never use Johnstons or SNAP Finance again. Anyway you look at it the paperwork was falsified even though Joe Johnston said he is a fine Christian Man

We have been donating to Helping H for many years and are often dropping off numerous times every…read moremonth. I am sad to say we will be donating to other organizations from now on. The drive up to drop off is in terrible condition. It is always dirty now, unorganized, ugly, just a bad experience to even be there. Why they don't do something about it, I don't know.

This is the best thrift shop I have ever been to. They have clothing, shoes, books, furniture,…read moreappliances, housewares, kids stuff, toys, knock knacks, and even a Halloween room with pumpkins and costumes! Everything is donated and offered to the public at an amazing price. Clothes are $1 a piece and books were $2 a bag at the time, not sure of always the case. I found several baby items, 2 pairs women's shoes, children's books, a couple of work shirts and a skirt for $20! What a great price. This is a ministry run by a sweet family, so there is no corporate take. Profit goes to those in need and stays in the community. There is a reason parking is an issue! Always find at least a bag full of items .
