Second year of oil change, fluid check, tire rotation, etc. This time the transmission oil added was wrong and way over filled. It set the green warning light on the panel to continually flash. My Pilot is now very slow to start. The caps of the fluids under the hood did not look or feel like they had been opened for checking. Drove the Pilot back to shop for checking. All I got was argument about the fact that, "It could not have been them. Someone else did it". My Honda Manuel said "check transmission fluid when the engine is running." They argued that it should be checked when the engine is off. Left the Pilot overnight. Picked it up yesterday. Drove it home. Checked the fluid , Now there is NO fluid registering when the engine is off, cool or on. I have to tow the Pilot and pay for repairs at another repair shop. Very disappointing and family and friends will no longer return. read more

My wife used to take her vehicle here before i started doing the work myself. She spent 700 dollars on fixing a few minor things and a transmission flush. When she drove the vehicle home it was driving much worse than when we took it there. After i personally looked at the vehicle myself figured out they didn't put any new transmission fluid in the vehicle after the flush. After I added transmission fluid vehicle worked much better. Simple fix but the fact they overlooked something that can cause massive damage to your vehicle. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND read more

We have taken our vehicle to them a few times since living in the area. We recently had our 100,000 mile maintenance done prior to going on a road trip. A few hours into driving following their maintenance, a belt and bolt that they had worked on broke. Come to find it was because they didn't place it back on correctly at McClarens. We took our receipts and the broke parts to the office, and they basically told us it wasn't their fault and we were out of luck- after paying over $1100 to them initially, and now over $600 to another shop and tow company, to fix their ignorance! Pretty petty way to do business, and treat good paying customers. Won't be going back! read more

I was traveling on I 40 when my Dodge Cummins diesel started to act badly. I called McClarans because I have had amazing automotive assistance from them in the past. When they heard of my dire issue they said bring it straight in. Mr. McClaran was in Holbrook and followed me to the shop. A few hours later the truck was running perfectly and Jerome ( best mechanic on the planet) called me twice to make sure I got home safely to Flagstaff. Who does this?!?
