It's definitely a "locals" type of place- very glad we chose it. There were a ton of games and TVs. Had a decent amount of beer on draft- both of us ordered the Foothills IPA. Food wise, we both ordered the rajun Cajun as a wrap. The flavor was amazing- slight kick to it but I'm wimpy! The fries were fantastic- cooked perfectly. I wish we lived closer because I would definitely go back

Atmosphere is pub/sports bar type. 10 min walk from Assembly & Blossom. Food was pretty good; service friendly but pretty slow and lacking a bit. Would honestly be like a 3.5

They opened at 11:00 and we walked in at 11:01, anxious to get our fish! The waitress was great and set us up quickly at a table and took our drink orders and brought us Guiness and teas. She heard all the chatter about the Fish N Chips and the next thing she said is "We don't have any beer batter yet, so no Fish N Chips! Immediately there were groans and moans. We had our beer and had come here specifically for the Fish N. Chips. She went back to check and returned saying "Yep, no beer batter so no Fish N Chips". Several of us joked that we may as well drink our beer and go next door to the Mongolian Yummy Stir fry place. We now started browsing for other menu items that we wanted. After about five minutes she came back out and said they could make up some batter but didn't know how long it would take. (How long does it take to stir up beer batter?). We said we'd wait. In the meantime two of our guys placed orders for the Scottish Eggs and Onion Rings for the table. They were both excellent. Three of us ordered the Fish N Chips and two had decided to go with the Bangers and Mash. One order for the Beef Eater sandwich, one Club Sandwich and one Rueben Sandwich. The food came out and the fish n chips were great. Not greasy, crispy, large haddock slice with great french fries. and green peas (which were barely luke ward, almost cold). The two guys with the Bangers and Mash loved it..Great sausage and the potatoes were excellent with mustard. The Rueben was great and also the Beef Eater. The waitress did a great job, checking on us throughout lunch. All in all, what started out as a questionable lunch turned into another fine lunch for the ROMEO group. The rating was 9.18 on the ROMEO scale...5.0 on Yelp scale. Only issue was something was wrong with the tea. It almost looked like water. Maybe because we were the first group in and the tea had just been made.

Some call it a dive bar, some are more generous; are there sticky tables, servers with tattoos, a busy bar were suds and cheaper whiskey prevail, and original paint? You bet! Let's get to the food. Lucky's menu features a variety of burgers, salads, wings, hotdogs and sides. Don't expect beer on tap, but an extensive selection of bottled beer should satisfy most folks. We ordered a Black and Blu burger with onion straws and a patty melt with fries. From the time we walked in until our food arrived probably took about 25 minutes. That was our own fault as we took way too long deciding what to order. When our food arrived, I immediately dug into the well constructed burger. I could barely open my mouth wide enough. And the taste? Very tasty. My wife enjoyed her patty melt--a burger on marbled rye with cheese and cooked onions that holds up surprisingly well! My onion straws were crunchy and sweet. Fries weren't great, but all in all an enjoyable burger experience. Oh, did I mention entertainment? Well on Tuesdays you can grab a free bingo card and try your luck winning a gift card! I got the appetizer sampler & the ONLY good thing on it was the mozzarella sticks & marinara to dip them in. The onion rings had no flavor & weren't salted. My fried pickles were just ok. The salsa tasted like it'd gone sour, and my queso arrived cold and inedible. The Mac & cheese bites were alright. I also got the crab soup & couldn't eat it. The flavor was nothing like a crab soup I'd ever had before. There was something oddly citrusy in the flavor that overpowered every other flavor there. My partner got a BBQ burger that was entirely flavorless. Even the onion rings on it had no taste. The BBQ sauce was the only thing that carried the burger.
