They gave him an extra drink since the Red Bull wasn't cold yet

We had a great time here for date night!! Service and food was great! We were sad they were out of bone in wings but we will definitely be back! We tried the Nashville hot chicken tenders, loaded tots and burger! Food was so good and came out hot!

We visited again about a month later after the first time we came and things had changed. For starters, they had an entirely new menu and a lot of the drinks we got last time were no longer listed. However, our waiter let us order the other drinks because they still had the ingredients to make those drinks. Luckily we took pictures of the old menu so we could reference the drinks we enjoyed last time. We also ordered more food this time. I got the bbq quesadilla and my husband the garden quesadilla with no tomato. The bbq quesadilla did not have a lot of chicken on it but had a LOT of sauce that it was bit overwhelming. I could have done without the chips and salsa as they were not very good. My husband was a bit disappointed with his garden quesadilla and was not a fan of the chips and salsa that came with it. I think if they had better chips, I would have enjoyed it more. However, their loaded tots were still amazing. Another difference is that the band was scheduled to start at 9:45pm rather than 9:30pm. Which didn't make too much of a difference in the end.

We weren't here for long as we just needed a place to kill some time but it's actually a cool little spot to hang out and chill with friends. They had live music which everyone seemed to enjoy. They also have games people can play like connect four, jenga, basketball. It's a typical bar type vibe. I just ordered an amaretto sour which is my go to and it was really good. I think this would be a good place to come back with friends that come to town or even another date night. The menu looked pretty good, so I'm excited to go back and review the food next time.

Me and my friends are here for a basketball game and we're bar hopping, the Tin Roof is amazing. The bartender helping us order was so nice and the drinks and food were delicious. I highly recommend the White Walker and the Sloppy Nachos! 10/10 experience!

A very cool place! A very interesting atmosphere and good food. I didn't go on a night that had live music so I can't attest to that, but I'll definitely go back with friends in the future.

Stopped in this place for a quick evening out. They do a fun trivia night once a month. This month was Grey's Anatomy. Big spacious wooden benches were comfortable and provided plenty of space for big and small parties alike. The atmosphere is very music-oriented. There is a stage and you can tell that when bands are in town this is a happening space. The food was good. They have a wide range of beer options. My friends had won trivia night previously so we were happy to help them use their winnings to have a great evening. We ordered everything off the appetizer menu and our food came out quickly. Our server was great. She has been working at Tin Roof a very long time and was extremely attentive. I had the nachos, which were HUGE! Everyone ate off of them and had their own appetizers. Everything came out hot and cooked. Nothing crazy special but they did a good job of standard fare bar food. If I was into trivia or music, I would definitely check out this place again. Parking can be a bit of a hassle but if you go in the evening street parking is free.

I love it here! That's all! That's the post! No really! I didn't try the food but the drinks were amazing! We had to order our drink from the bar during Karaoke (Monday). The drinks were amazing! Great Ambience! I'll be back when I come to Columbia!!

Tin Roof on Senate Street in Columbia is a great place to go for cool live music and good food and drinks. They have just the right size for this venue to enjoy everything. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you have everything that you need for a good experience.

Great vibes on a Tuesday each week. Drink prices are very appropriate for a college town bar. Food is bot that great.

    Is there dog-friendly outdoor seating?

There is a patio and area for your dog as long as there isn't a concert at the neighboring Music Farm venue at the same time as your visit. You can check their calendar online.

You might want to wear earplugs though because wow, your ears will be ringing for a while after the show Oh they are pretty strict about the size of your clear bag. I would say put your ID & credit card on a lanyard and just have a few things in your pocket like keys, phone, chapstick.

We specifically purchased these bags to meet their stated policy, yet he insisted they were too large and initially told us we would not be allowed entry. What made the situation even more frustrating was the way it was handled. Even after we showed him the venue's own specifications proving the bags were permitted, he refused to acknowledge the mistake and continued to treat us disrespectfully. Rather than resolving the issue professionally, he chose to double down and create an unnecessarily hostile experience. As you can see in the images, it fits their criteria. Because of this interaction alone, I will not attend another event at this location.

The Wild Game Tasting Board was the star of the table perfect for sharing and trying something a little different. We also ordered the gator bites (a must-try!) and finished things off with cheesecake for dessert, which was the perfect sweet ending. Good service, Amazing Food. The chef really goes above and beyond! This is the perfect spot if you're looking to switch things up from your usual dinner routine and try something a little wild.

Bison, elk, boar, rabbit. These are proteins you don't see on most menus. The restaurant leans into a woodland theme with greenery hanging throughout the space. It borders on a bit much, but the open kitchen visible from the dining room grounds the whole experience and adds a nice touch of theater. The seating was comfortable and well spaced, perfect for a family dinner where you actually want to hear each other talk. Our server was outstanding, easily 5 out of 5. She knew the menu cold, offered thoughtful recommendations, and struck that ideal balance of attentive without being intrusive. She made the evening better. The drinks were mostly a win. Two cocktails were excellent, creative and well balanced. A third was over iced and fell flat. Minor miss, but worth noting. The food is where The Hollow really shines. The charcuterie board was a fantastic start, featuring a well curated spread of wild game meats, quality cheeses, fig, and mustard. The mains delivered across the board: salmon, elk, and bison all came out beautifully with great flavor and generous portions. The sides deserved their own applause, which isn't something I say often. The dessert menu was the one soft spot. Nothing grabbed our attention, so we ended up heading across the street to Kaminsky's for something sweet. For a kitchen that puts this much care into everything else, the dessert offerings felt like an afterthought. A couple of notes on the bill to be aware of: we were charged a few dollars for swapping a vegetable side. There was a 3% credit card surcharge that caught us off guard. When you're out with the family and the tab runs into the hundreds $, most folks are paying with a card. That's a fee I'd want to know about upfront. On the menu, from the server, somewhere visible before the check arrives. The bottom line: The Hollow is a creative, well executed restaurant with standout food and excellent service. If you're in Columbia, it's well worth a reservation.
