We visited again about a month later after the first time we came and things had changed. For starters, they had an entirely new menu and a lot of the drinks we got last time were no longer listed. However, our waiter let us order the other drinks because they still had the ingredients to make those drinks. Luckily we took pictures of the old menu so we could reference the drinks we enjoyed last time. We also ordered more food this time. I got the bbq quesadilla and my husband the garden quesadilla with no tomato. The bbq quesadilla did not have a lot of chicken on it but had a LOT of sauce that it was bit overwhelming. I could have done without the chips and salsa as they were not very good. My husband was a bit disappointed with his garden quesadilla and was not a fan of the chips and salsa that came with it. I think if they had better chips, I would have enjoyed it more. However, their loaded tots were still amazing. Another difference is that the band was scheduled to start at 9:45pm rather than 9:30pm. We weren't here for long as we just needed a place to kill some time but it's actually a cool little spot to hang out and chill with friends. They had live music which everyone seemed to enjoy. They also have games people can play like connect four, jenga, basketball. It's a typical bar type vibe. I just ordered an amaretto sour which is my go to and it was really good. I think this would be a good place to come back with friends that come to town or even another date night. The menu looked pretty good, so I'm excited to go back and review the food next time. read more

Friend of mine suggested the Tin Roof. First, I went before noon, on a Saturday, so the music would not have started until 9:30 PM. Very edgy and trendy place, with inside/outside seating. Game was on and loud, so I sat outside. When I got there, no other customers there. Cold beer! Asked what the "special" food was for the Tin Roof and was told it was all good. Took a chance on the Nashville Hot Brown and I was not disappointed. Just as good as the original and much better than all the other imitators. Very friendly and inviting place. Service was the worst I have had anywhere ever, the staff was extremely drunk and violent the whole night using slurs and intimidation to scare guests, saw multiple workers drinking behind the bar and saw bouncers shoving guests for what looked to be no reason most of the time, highly would recommend staying away from this place for your safety. Stopped in this place for a quick evening out. They do a fun trivia night once a month. This month was Grey's Anatomy. Big spacious wooden benches were comfortable and provided plenty of space for big and small parties alike. The atmosphere is very music-oriented. There is a stage and you can tell that when bands are in town this is a happening space. The food was good. They have a wide range of beer options. My friends had won trivia night previously so we were happy to help them use their winnings to have a great evening. We ordered everything off the appetizer menu and our food came out quickly. Our server was great. She has been working at Tin Roof a very long time and was extremely attentive. I had the nachos, which were HUGE! Everyone ate off of them and had their own appetizers. Everything came out hot and cooked. Nothing crazy special but they did a good job of standard fare bar food. If I was into trivia or music, I would definitely check out this place again. Parking can be a bit of a hassle but if you go in the evening street parking is free. read more

Our server was great, offered up some suggestions and was pretty attentive. As for the food, I got the South x Southwest quesadilla and Kelsay got the Tenniyaki chicken tenders. So the quesadilla... a bit underwhelming. It's supposed to be chicken, cheese, tomatoes, guac and bbq sauce. Unfortunately I couldn't taste (or barely see) any guac or bbq sauce so it was just an average chicken quesadilla. Kelsay's tenders were pretty good, the Tenniyaki sauce is a mix of Tennessee whiskey and teriyaki, sweet but not TOO sweet. As for the sides, I got tots, she got fries. The fries were pretty bland and unseasoned, but the tots were the highlight of my meal. It's almost like this food is designed to be FANTASTIC when drinking lol, but otherwise we weren't impressed. All in all... not a bad joint, just maybe not the best choice of entrees. We'll definitely revisit to give another chance. read more

We stopped by for happy hour after work. There was nobody there. ‍ But this meant we got better service. We had a few beers, reasonably priced compared to our hometown of Atlanta. If you are coming for food, I would suggest elsewhere. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, and it should have been called a bland chewy chicken sandwich. This thing has absolutely no flavor, and the potato salad that the put on top of it didn't help I'm the flavor department. When the sandwich came out it looked fantastic, however once I had my first bite I was very disappointed. There maybe other menu items that are better, but the server recommended this so I figured I would try it. This place is pretty cool if you are wanting to have a few drinks and listen to live music. If there was better food, this place would be hard to beat in my opinion. read more

This place is disgusting Went to Tin Roof for brunch on Sunday morning and for starters, their server didn't show up for their shift so we had to go to the bar from the outside to get our drinks, refill them, and order our food. We were serving ourselves but that wasn't even the worst part. We finally get our food and I find a literal pubic hair in the sandwich clear as day (I swear I'm not a Karen but this disgusted me) and when I told the bartender all he said was "Okay" and took my food back. No apology or anything. After waiting about 15 minutes, my friends had all already finished their food, they brought me a new sandwich, with the wrong side but at this point I didn't even want to wait any longer. We all went inside to pay and I kindly asked if there was any way the sandwich could be taken off my tab because for starters it had a hair in it and secondly it came out 15-20 minutes after so I barely touched it. The bartender said "did the food runner not bring you a new sandwich??" and I explained that he did and he finally said okay and took it off my tab. When I didn't tip (we had no server, we served ourselves and I was still disgusted by the fact that there was no apology for the hair in my food) he picks up my receipt and kind of tosses it and says "Was everything okay outside??" in the most annoyed tone I have ever heard from someone that is supposed to be serving the customer. We finally left after everyone paid and I can honestly say I will not be coming back. read more

During my visit to Tin Roof Columbia, the service was excellent and prompt. I was able to speak with Chef Ralph who was personable and he provided a recommendation from the menu that was tasty. During our conversation, he also shared that Tin Roof has banquet services that I might be interested in for my staff for food and fun, and team building. I have been to the original Tin Roof in Nashville. I am quite disappointed in this establishment's blatant predatory practices. On their happy hour menu (which for the record is only available online), they list "Domestic Drafts and Wells" for $3 and "Seltzers" for $4. So it was to my surprise when I received my bill that I saw Angry Orchard (which is listed in the menu under drafts) as $8, not $3. Or the "High Noon" as $7, not $4. Spoke to the manager and he tried to justify the lack of fine print or server mentioning these exceptions. I won't be back. That is completely predatory and immoral. read more

First time to this bar and to five points in general. This is a legitimate and serious PSA: Was having a decent time until *this* crazy incident.... I went to use the bathroom and was closing the stall door when a random dude pushed in the door and knocked me over. The guy then tells me "I know you're doing coke. This is my fucking bar so if you're doing that then you better show me." I have honestly never done cocaine, and I told the guy I hadn't. He was standing in the stall and told me he would beat me up if I didn't give him coke. I emptied out my pockets to show him I didn't have anything. He kept saying he knew I was lying and had coke and continued threatening to beat me up if I didn't give any to him. Another guy in the restroom started to try to deescalate the situation, and the dude threatening me took a step back and I was able to swing the stall door shut and lock it. The guy then threatened to kill me if I didn't give him coke, and I kept telling him that I didn't have any and had no idea where he could get some. The guy then counted down from 5 and slammed through and broke the locked bathroom stall door. The other guy in the restroom reached his hand around the edge of the stall and asked me to grab his hand and come with him, but the guy threatening me put his arm out and physically held me back and blocked me from leaving. I then yelled for the other guy to go get help or call 911. The dude continued to threaten to beat me up and kill me if I didn't give him any drugs, and I kept telling him I didn't have anything. He was standing over me and very close to me and I was seriously terrified for my life and thought that he was going to try to kill me. The bartender eventually came in and told me that the guy threatening me is a bouncer at the bar, and the bartender then pinned the guy threatening me against the wall and told me to run out of the bathroom. I ran out and had a full break down lol. Anyways, before I left the bar I told the bartender what had happened, i.e. that one of their bouncers just threatened to beat me up and kill me and wouldn't let me out of the stall for what felt like 30 minutes because the bouncer thought I had cocaine, and he wanted some of the coke (again, I've never even seen coke in real life). I asked the bartender for the bouncers name and he would not give it to me. I asked about what his name is again, and the bartender said "do watcha need to do man. I'm sorry that happened to you. He's a vet with ptsd who just drank too much." This response from the bar truly makes me feel like they may have protected this guy in the past if something like this has happened, and they would continue to protect this guy in the future if it happens again. Seriously, if you ever end up going to this bar, please make sure you have a way to protect yourself or only go into a bathroom with a friend. I truly hope this guy gets the help he needs. read more

Went here just now sat down some guy came out the back and poured a large cup of flour (i assume) on a guy at the bar. Things seem to get tense so we left. Will not go back. Totally funnn! The atmosphere here is great and there is plenty to do. The have live music playing all the time, corn hole, and other games around the bar for entertainment. The staff is very friendly and there are plenty of places to sit. The drinks are good and there is a bar inside and outside. The food is delicious, but they have more of a smaller menu with bar type food. I recommend going here for a good night. You will have a blast with a good group of friends! read more

It was fine. We came here before the NCAA tournament games and they had lots of TVs and service was fast. One of the local beers tasted off though, like the keg was skunked or the draft lines hadn't been cleaned in a while. It may not be the most incredible bar but it'll do the job. read more
