First of all, let me just say that I absolutely love Target. If this was a review on the…read morecorporation as a whole, absolutely, I would give it five stars. I can spend a full hour in Target quite happily perusing the shelves. This store is okay. It irks me that it does not offer a full grocery section, or even what Target does the p-fresh initiative a few years ago. The produce selection is Slim, and so too are the offerings in the food department. There is absolutely no way I could do all of my grocery shopping at this Target location, but if I just need some kind of packaged good, chances are likely they will have it. In fact, limited selection is really how I would describe the Batavia location overall. When compared to a Super Target, this store has fewer home goods/decor items, school supplies, books and electronics, and clothes. I sometimes have to drive to the store in St. Charles to get what I really want (for example, Kid Made Fresh meals, which feature hidden veggies inside an organic frozen meal, are only available in St. Charles). If this store opted to expand - if that is even possible - then I think the Batavia Target would be right up there in the five-star category, but with such a limited selection, it earns itself just three stars.

I asked the employee why. All the said was it's company policy. Just don't get it. Went to Woodmans to buy it a couple of weeks later and no id required. It's non alcoholic folks. I'm afraid to buy a coke there.

I dealt with Jane who was so personable, and went above and beyond to help me with this painstaking task, of wording it, the size and style. They then drew up a draft and sent it to me from approval. I must of changed it 20 times questioning everything. They never complained or told me enough is enough, they just said we want you to be happy in the end. I even went in there a few times, asking Jane for suggestions and guidance. I wanted this monument to be perfect. Five months later, it's complete and installed and looks beautiful. Thank you so much to Jane for her direction and help, in making this monument amazing and Jim for his art work, drafting and re-drafting until I was happy. I highly recommend St. Charles Memorial Works to anyone who has to go through the difficult task of purchasing a monument. No one wants to buy a headstone for their child, but Jane made the process a bit more bearable. Thank you again!!

The contact that the church gave us was on vacation, so we talked to another contact. I gave them our credit card number and was told that no other action was needed on my part. We got our sales agreement a week later.  Three months later, I was notified by a friend, that no etching had been done. I called and emailed St. Charles Memorial Works.  Two days later they called me and once again I gave them my credit card info and signed the agreement.  I was assured that everything would be completed the Monday after the holiday weekend. Called the Tuesday after the holiday, no work had been completed. Called once again at the end of the week, etching had been completed, but the plate was not attached at the church.  We were told that the plate would be attached in two days and a photo and phone call would be sent to me to confirm the work had been completed. Eight days later, no status photo or phone call.  An hour later, finally a photo was sent to me.  It only took them FOUR MONTHS to get it right. What a mess.

I can't say enough great things about Matt. He absolutely saved me this week…read more My Lenovo laptop completely failed to boot after a graphics driver cleanup utility corrupted the Windows boot configuration and recovery environment. The system was stuck in a recovery loop, BitLocker was triggered, and Windows wouldn't load or even reliably enter repair mode. Multiple shops I called said it would take several days just to diagnose the issue. Matt turned it around in essentially one day. He was able to manually access the system, unlock BitLocker, repair the corrupted boot configuration, rebuild the necessary Windows files, and get the machine fully operational again -- without wiping my data. That was critical, as I had local files that weren't backed up to the cloud. Beyond the technical expertise, what impressed me most was: * Clear communication * Fast turnaround * Extremely reasonable pricing * No upselling, no unnecessary "reinstall everything" approach He diagnosed the real issue quickly and fixed it correctly the first time. If you're an independent contractor who depends on your machine daily, or you run a small to mid-sized business and need reliable, competent IT support, Matt is exactly who you want on your side. Look no further. Highly, highly recommend.
