But they know the tires on the cars ain't sh- and we'll just add in a tired package to your loan to fix it. I went with their bank choice Westlake which was so bad in rates and obviously refinanced asap. They where good about asking me if I paid and hyping up the capabilities of the car but then the car couldn't do half the stuff they listed and if you can ask me about pay answer other things wrong with the car. Like why the brakes needed flushing since March but I bought it in August. Didn't notice the warning cause they probably reset it over and over again so I got the warning after I already drove off the lot. I'm making the best of the car but the price compared to what it is was not fair and completely inflated. For that I cannot recommend this place and would not. Where I thought I was saving getting a used car I couldn't have spent the same and got it new. Just a no go. Oh and they added on gap coverage without asking as well. So thankfully once I refinanced I was refunded the extra packages but not a return or suggest feeling for this business.

We showed up on time and waited for over an hour, only to find out he had sold the car to someone else without any notice or communication. There was zero respect for our time or the appointment that was already scheduled. If a car was going to be sold, the professional thing to do would have been to inform us before we drove there and waited. This was extremely unprofessional and disappointing. Poor communication, poor customer service, and no accountability. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Be careful trusting their appointments, as they clearly do not honor their commitments.

Having been in…read moreFixed Based Operator airplane repair shops, Shipyards, and Motor Pools, and being petty decent shade tree mechanic, just walking in the door had that feel of experience. I took my car in for an alignment, and not that I am a race car driver, sensing every force on steering, still I can say the adjustments were observable, and obviously outstanding. I don't go to shops looking for friendships, but if you want to know the customer service was as it should be, not a lot of clamor. The important thing is when I had questions, they had answers. The waiting area was nice, and I know some shops where this is not a priority. The bathroom was clean, and that is a plus around a bunch of mechanics. Confidence in integrity matters. I went to a big box tire store, the name starts with "M", for an alignment a couple years ago. Before, doing so I had the tie rods replaced about 3 months prior. They they approached me with a story about those parts were worn, and to get a good alignment new ones were needed (costing big bucks). At Solomotorsports, I would be confident to send my wife, or less mechanically experienced person in and not have her/them ripped off.

The issue here was what I was quoted for on repairs. Extremely expensive... for example my A/C was not working as there was a leak in the condenser. They quoted me $849.35 to repair the A/C, replace condenser, relay, and charge air conditioning system. I fixed the A/C for less than $80... bought a condenser for $25 and the charge for the A/C for less than like $15 and i was able to replace the condenser in less than 3 hours... They never worked on my car so I can't speak on what they are capable of but in terms of trust. I would be careful and get second opinions.

Also different locations seem to operate differently as I did not enjoy my experience at the Buford location. We also went to Gainesville which was a smooth and nice experience however I had the best experience at Norcross. German Motor Works was top notch. Called as a new customer, came in, dropped off. Got a call with details on all repairs and picked up my car later that day. All services done at hundreds less than the dealership. Steve was very helpful and the entire experience was top notch. My only regret was not finding this place sooner!

Went into this shop for air suspension issues came out with so many other issues all within a…read moremonth and half pattern of something else going bad. Don't trust this shop with your European vehicle. Below are details of the pattern I've noticed and my experience. I'm currently working to get my refund and owner refuses to get me documents as well as name calling customers. On June 11, 2026, I brought my BMW X5 in for air-suspension repairs and paid to have both air springs replaced. I chose this shop because it was the closest option I found when I called around, since my vehicle was not in a condition where I could comfortably drive it to multiple shops, and they had the part in stock. On August 6, I returned because of a strong fuel smell coming through the air vents. The shop told me there was a major fuel leak and performed fuel-system work involving an injector. The fuel smell eventually returned and is still happening today. On August 14, the air-suspension problem returned. Since it was under warranty, I went back. After paying for both air springs, I was frustrated to be dealing with suspension problems again. When I questioned the repair, there was confusion about whether both air springs had actually been replaced. He asked" are you sure both air bags were replaced?" I said, I paid for both so it better have. Now they diagnosed it was the air compressor. By August 18, I was concerned about the recurring problems and the amount of money I had spent. When I requested a refund and documentation, the owner called me "unreasonable" and "delusional." I found the way my concerns were handled unprofessional, especially after spending over $2,000 at the shop. The name calling was very uncalled for as well. I changed out my air compressor and my vehicle is a 2014 x5, not ever was it in the shop before for air suspension issues. When I changed it out, the manufacturer date on the air compressor was 2021. I'm not accusing the shop of doing anything with that, however, the timeline of events doesn't add up. I still have the same fuel smell problem and ongoing gas consumption problems to this day. Just beware before making this choice to take your European vehicle here. In reality, All repair shops need have cameras documenting work performed on vehicles to help ensure the work customers pay for is actually completed and to provide accountability when disputes arise. Customers deserve transparency, proper documentation, and professional communication.
