    I have bought my last 2 vehicles from different carmax locations and have always had great experiences (Savannah and Chamblee). However, this one was absolutely terrible. The woman I spoke with on the phone prior to coming in was so friendly and helpful, so I was excited to come in and test drive a Lexus. Upon arriving, the parking lot was an absolute nightmare with cars just sitting around and blocking the lanes to enter/ exit, tow trucks getting uncomfortably close, etc. After I found my spot I went inside and was helped immediately. However - when it was time to test drive the associate just handed me the keys, said "see you in 20 minutes" and walked back inside? Nobody cared to show me a single feature on the car. The inside and outside were both in very poor condition - the rims were completely scratched up, the interior was dirty and smelled like straight cigarettes. We even found a plastic knife on the floor? The price was ridiculous considering the condition. I Immediately knew this wasn't the car for me and decided to leave. The parking lot was even more of a disaster as I walked up to my loaner car that I drove here. There was a carmax employee trying to back a Mercedes onto a tow truck right next to me - she pulled forward and was maybe 3 inches away from hitting my back bumper. I asked them all to stop so I could move the car out of the way, and upon getting to the door I noticed a ding in the paint that wasn't there before!!! You can even see where someone tried rubbing it off. All of the employees standing around had a HORRIBLE attitude towards me right off the bat and flat out said "it's not our problem". I asked the manager if they can please check the cameras to see what happened but they claim they don't have any?? I was looking right at them all over the lot!! I was frustrated yet extremely polite with all things considered and get that these things can happen anywhere, but the way the situation was handled by the staff was extremely unprofessional. I told the manager I wouldn't be returning and she just turned her back and walked away. Cannot stress avoiding this location enough - Buying a car from untrustworthy people is never a good idea and they do not take proper care of the vehicles.

    I had a car in mind that I wanted to trade with before my birthday gets here and I try to see what they offer me. It was a good offer! Then I go ahead fill out the form online while I was at work made appointment to test drive at the end of the day. I had all documents they needed from me since I have this in mind.. Shenita was very helpful and explained every little detail, makes it so easy for me and I went home with my new car that exact same day, 10days earlier than my birthday! I recommend this place for every one the staff knows what they are doing. They are fast and making sure you are satisfied. I want to thank Shanita Monroe specially greet me very well when I walk in. Take me to her table and make this happen maximum in two hours with my test drive. You will never regret if you go this place

    This is my third time at Carmax and 2nd time using the same salesperson. I do see some of the reviews as this location being very iffy but I will try to be fair and honest in my review. Here's how it went for me: John G. Is my salesperson and I've worked with him a few good times. Carmax is known for always being reliable and having affordable easy to source loans for you to get the car of your choice. Even though they sell used cars they are typically in pretty good condition. In fact - their website has one of thee best searching criteria I've seen on the market ! I knew exactly what I was in search for as a second car option so I had down to meet John for a test drive. They have an approval and buying process online that doesn't work forreal. Think of it as an "estimate" for what you'll really pay when you get there. The cars I wanted were not at the location but as with my other experience I was determined to find a decent car so I would not have to travel far out. I purchased a white Corolla and John patiently worked with me the entire time beginning to end. Even with me coming in later in the day I had an amazing experience from beginning to end. Would go again.

    Prices way too high and not well kept inventory. Honestly don't waste your time going here and go to another dealership down the road.

At the time, I was just interested in a quote and I told them that I would contact them again to finalize a deal if I couldn't find anyone to beat this quote. I ended up going out of town and forgot about my side project. Cut back a month later, I contact Pull-A-Part last week to sell my vehicle to them. The Operator then low-balled me with a different number than what they first offered and offered me $380. I was upset with this new number since I was expecting them to match their initial offer. I begrudgingly brought up this point and the Operator came back with a new offer of $410 for pickup on Saturday 7/12/2024. Since I was tired of dealing with this entire project, I agreed and we set an appointment to pick up my vehicle at 9am. I received a confirmation email and made preparations to have the vehicle picked up on Saturday at our agreed time. Come Saturday, I received ZERO correspondence from the hauler and at 0945am I contacted Pull-A-Part to ask if they were enroute. The Operator stated that they did not know when the hauler would arrive and that I would be contacted. Since I received no correspondence an HOUR after they were supposed to, I asked to reschedule for Monday. The Operator advised that the hauler would reschedule to Monday and did not provide a new time. The Operator stated that they "could not provide a time for Monday." I found this statement to be incredibly unprofessional since they were happy to provide a time when they first tried to low-ball me. I agreed to an ambiguous Monday reschedule. Today is Monday and you can guess that no one has contacted me and no one has come to get the vehicle. At this point, I'm sure that this business is some kind of scam.

I'm making the best of the car but the price compared to what it is was not fair and completely inflated. For that I cannot recommend this place and would not. Where I thought I was saving getting a used car I couldn't have spent the same and got it new. Just a no go. Oh and they added on gap coverage without asking as well. So thankfully once I refinanced I was refunded the extra packages but not a return or suggest feeling for this business.

This is my horrible experience with them! I made an appointment yesterday in reference to a window replacement for my vehicle, I received a call from Juan and he took all my information down and confirm that someone would be at my home between 9:00 a.m. and noon today. As of 1:30 this afternoon, I still have not heard from anyone there, so I had to called, only to find out that they did not have the glass replacement, nor did it fail to contact me in reference to them not having the glass that they knew they didn't have yesterday. This is the first example of the breakdown of communication, yesterday, I received multiple text messages asking for further information about the vehicle. I sent the information they needed and multiple pictures. The person from dispatch was receiving the pictures, became irate because she could not review the pictures that she accused me of not sending. Once the pictures were found, there was no apology at all for them not receiving all of their text messages that I had sent. That was the first red flag, I should have paid attention. Second red flag was a NO-SHOW this morning between 9:00 and 12:00 noon. Third red flag when I called they act like they didn't know what was going on until Christian said that they did not have the glass that was needed for my vehicle. If you are going to work with this company, I strongly suggest you pay very close attention to all the CONCERNING reviews and do your homework. They're breakdown in communication is extremely horrible!!! It is discouraging, disappointing, and disrespectful when you have a consumer waiting for a particular service all day, and they negated to inform me within a reasonable amount of time this morning so that I can use other options. The weather was bad, it rained all night long, which potentially has furthered damaged the interior of my vehicle. Now, I am going into "Day 2" without a rear windshield!!!     We made you aware of multiple issues, the faulty key that didn't open the doors, the battery that…read morewas almost dead and you had the vehicle running when I got there to look at the vehicle so I couldn't test the battery. Then the vehicle overheating the very 1st day we owned it causing us to be broke down on the side of the road for over 3 hours. We asked for a partial reimbursement for what we had to pay out of pocket within 24 hours of owning this van, $600. We asked the owner of the company to make it right by reimbursement of the very first day of issues and he refused. We told the owner we would agree to keep the vehicle if he made this right but he only chose to offer $250. He then states he would offer $250 again and when confronted he never offered the first $250 he retracted his statement and said no that is $135 for the key and another $115 for the troubles we dealt with tonight. But a key cost $220, a battery cost $260.00 and our portion of the tow was $225 also if we put in the shop our deductible is $100.00 totaling $805....we were asking for $600 and still accepting loss. But the owner refused. A family on the side of the road at night in unsafe conditions after paying $11,882.00 in cash. We are willing to work with the warranty, that is why we purchased a warranty. The issue is, you knew there were issues and you didn't address them before placing the vehicle on your lot such as the battery and the key. The owner stated he paid $200 dollars to a locksmith and the key was not made correctly. He can confront that locksmith for a reimbursement. We are still willing to keep the vehicle I'd the owner will pay us for our troubles, if the owner continues to refuse will take further action and expect a full refund for this vehicle that we've had for one day and driven less than 200 miles. Please, have the owner reach out tonight or tomorrow if he is willing to make this right. We are still willing to accept the $600 and we will keep the vehicle and get mech issues addressed with the warranty.
