Explained my medical situation and it was reduced to under $30 from $40 and I was verbally encouraged to tip. Stopped in for a much needed haircut while I was in town visiting family and it was honestly the best haircut I've ever had in my adult life!! Not only is this place affordable and clean but they really listen to what the customer wants. Also worth mentioning the fantastic scalp massage they give was so relaxing. The lady cutting my hair was also so nice and she had a tray of snacks waiting for me. So sad I won't have someone like her in my town but I will definitely be back again when I'm in town. I booked an appointment online for my son to get a perm. The online price is $99, and charged my son $200 they said because of length and thickness. My sons hair is less than two inches long and he only got a perm on the top of his head. They took complete advantage of him. he has been getting perms for two years now and has never been charged over $100. I would never recommend this place or go back here. read more

God there is no 0 star option... Where to start - just wanted a keratin treatment for my hair which was long and dry. Went into MB saloon and took the $70 option of "cheap keratin treatment" (in words of miss M). As for the treatment - miss M stated it would be 40 minutes treatment that they'll take care, but for the actual treatment they applied keratin mask and made me sit alone in steam for 40 mins - literally only 5 to 8mins of effort from them. Now for the results - I was promised that this would possible recover some damage and make my hair silky and it would last for atleast for 5 hair washes. They did blow dry after last wash but only very minimal and asked me not to shampoo wash my hair atleast for 5 days - so that the treatment result will last - complete contradiction of what they mentioned during the start. Most messed up thing is that, only after 2 hours of the treatment my hair had already gone compete dry like literally worse than the state it was before. I've done keratin treatment in the past and usually after treatment hair would very silky but now my hair is completely dry, very rough and even the scalp got dried. First thing I'm gonna do after this rant review is to wash my hair of any of that remaining shit they put on. I wouldn't suggest them for keratin hair care treatment and I guess not any other hair care treatment as well, whereas they might be good at the basic of hair dressing cutting, I saw a customer going happy after hair cut from Mr B. To MB saloon, please don't provide under quality treatment/procedure!!!! read more

Great service, they used to be at a different location off 112th and Canyon Road. I followed their service because they are so great. Now my mom likes to come here too. Great eyebrows service, nails and hair cut with color too. They are always friendly and never had to wait very long for service either. Prices are great and affordable for the high end service. Don't go to this business please. Overcharging their customers for poor quality. I went here with my girlfriend who got robbed $250 for a perm. The perm product they used was just Quantum Perm kit solutions that you can purchase for $8 on amazon nothing special or salon quality for $250?!!! Also, my girlfriend has really short hair above her ears (don't know how that would be $250?!!) Mandy whom I assume is the owner kept calling my girlfriend a boy even when I kept saying she. Her whole vibe was just to get every dollar out of us as she could telling me she wanted to do my highlights and asked who did my hair which I had just got done a week prior. My girlfriend's Zelle wasn't working after a few tries so I was trying to help and figure out the issue, Mandy just grabbed her phone out of my hands invading privacy and kept trying to send it herself on my girlfriend's phone. Very uncomfortable and unprofessional. I suggested to use card because Zelle is not working, but she said she didn't want to use card because they get charged for card transactions. So I'm like ok I'll use mine and it goes through. To add she rushed my girlfriend to sign some sort of contract before the perm and didn't even let her read it. Honestly wished we would've walked out the moment she said $250, but didn't and got scammed for sure!! Just want to warn others. Seen some similar reviews and poor response from Mandy claiming false statements but I have pictures of the Zelle transaction and pictures of my girlfriend's hair before and after looking the same!! Mandy knows what she's doing because she's had alot of complaints and people wanting refunds she just tries to cover them up with false statements allegations. read more

So yesterday I was excited my husband called and offered to pay to have my hair dyed and styled I was a happy girl ! I called and everyone was booked except one place ... this would be MB hair salon .. I had a 1:30 appointment for me and my daughter she got a basic hair cut . I got there and was basically ignored until almost 3pm (I know I should have ran at that point) finally a man starts to work on my hair I was there to get balayage lighten my roots and bring down my natural color . 1st attempt my roots were orange like chucky orange super orange almost red ! I was told that my hair came out red since only "white girls can achieve blonde " and that didn't feel right . My ends are blonde so I didn't understand so she had her husband throw a dark brown almost black on my roots and I was assured it wouldn't look grey / dark blonde any how it looked black as night ! So I'm going to post before and after all taken same day to show you guys . I was texting with my husband and was getting upset these people kept trying to convince me this looked amazing as I felt crazy ... then my husband comes to save the day he tells them HER HAIR NOW LOOKS THE SAME AS IT DID WHEN SHE FIRST GOT HERE !! The owners disagree saying my hair is amazing completely made over and is exactly what hat I wanted (not true ) I'm very shy and try to be nice so I didn't want to start problems but as a small business owner myself I expect to get what I ask for or to be told they can't if it's too hard . Any how my husband is pist to see me so upset gets into a yelling match with the employees tells them he's not paying and they say if you don't pay I'm dying your wife's whole hair black !!! WTF !!! So I'm crying inconsolably I'm just upset and now they call the police. I wait husband waits we agree to pay for a haircut for my girl was nice they did good on her hair but I literally looked exactly as I did when I walked in if not slightly worse !! And the cops arrive and suggest we just pay half the costs so I do to avoid more drama so I get the money to avoid more drama !! So I found someone to fix my hair and hair i have to pay another almost $400 plus the $150 I was charged at MB salon (half what they charged ) and I'm just so upset like can you guys tell me if I'm legit a crazy person or does my hair look the same !?!?!? And I'm sorry if I offend anyone or make any one upset If this is your salon . Oh and the crazy thing .. I'm going to lacey to get this fixed the person fixing my hair just got a person who's hair was burnt / melted off by MB SALON that she had to repair as well isn't it a small world please be aware I'm just trying to save another person from this terrible terrible experience I had to deal with . Overall prices were unreasonably high and I felt I was being nicked and dimed to death . Sorry I never like to be negative but this is super unfair I paid 150$ (half of what I was being charged) to look just as I did before I was worked in here now my hair is super damaged with no results my sister actually asked me "I though you went to have your hair done you were gone for 5 hours !! I called the day before the 4th of July and they had an opening. We got there and they were more than welcoming, starting right on our wash and trims. Very professional service, good convo, and funny kind people. Many services here, and of such quality that we both decided to get manicures done on top! Color selection was great, they took their time for quality yet were fast enough that there was little wait. I went to take my 14yo disabled son for a simple haircut At the Kings Den. Initially, they said I need to call to make an appointment (which I understood & was fine with). I called, made appointment for 1:30pm. Upon my return, there was one man sitting down watching football & when I said we were here for our 1:30 appointment, he said he didn't see us on the books. Which I found odd as we had just been there an hour & a 1/2 earlier. He refused us service! I couldn't believe it as he was the only one in the shop. He clearly didn't want to work! I saw there was another salon in the same establishment called "MB Salon". I walked in, asked if the only person (Mandy) could take my son & she greeted us with open arms & told us to come right in! So........ I went to M a long time ago and she did real good! And she was so fast! However this time, it was not the same. I'm glad I didn't buy a Groupon because I wouldn't have been able to use it since I used it my first time and apparently it's only for new customers (I read that after I left, so I take fault on that) but again, glad I didn't buy it. Her haircuts start at $18+ but when she was going through my hair and evaluating she told me 45-50 ( on Groupon it states $35) so I was confused when I asked her why she told me "if you want me to do a good job I have to plan" when I asked her about the $18 one she told me "only for trim". Then when I told her nevermind I'll go to my other lady she asked me "why? You can't afford it?" I was speechless. It was just kind of unprofessional and I won't return to her. She does good work from what I experienced the first time but she's just so up and down with prices and it's not consistent. The reviews you see on Groupon are believable now. read more

I walked in for a quick haircut and they definitely delivered and the pricing was great. I had the intentions that I would have to schedule and come back but they helped me right away. They had little TVs to watch so we watched a pretty cool documentary and made small talk. The guy cut my hair. I explained once how I wanted it and he did it better than I was wanting. The lady was helping another lady but she seemed just as friendly. You could tell they were energetic and passionate about what they do. My nana owned a salon and I've only ever had her do my hair my entire life. Since my nana passed, I needed to step out and find a place. Seeing them happy, energetic and passionate about their salon calmed my nerves. If I still lived in the state, they'd be my regular place. If they ever read this review, you have no idea of your impact. No one besides my nana has ever ever cut my hair. And well, I was extremely nervous and it took me weeks of looking at yelp reviews to find the right place and even work up the nerves to go.
