The decor and music choices marry the Latin-inspired cuisine with a classic Rehoboth east-coast beach sensibility. I was made to feel warm (at heart, they still have AC to keep ya cool) and welcome. The highlight was the service. The man (I believe the owner himself) was the cheeriest and kindest man I've met all week. He encouraged all of our choices and offered us to try the delicious beverages (tamarind was my favorite!) Food was served quickly and with a smile. I was very satisfied even though I must admit I kept my choice pretty standard with the Little Missionary. While just a footlong with mayo, ketchup, and mustard, it really hit the spot when I just wanted more of a plain hot dog. My friends got the Little German and Little Cock which were coated in all manner of ingredients. My friends were so content, they got another dog to go. Need a quick bite from one of the friendliest guys in Rehoboth Beach (and that's tough list to top)? Please give them a try.

The lady working at the…read morewindow was so kind and helpful, and told us all about the business (not hers - the owners were on a rare family vacation). We decided to get two mini pies which say they serve 1-2. They come frozen, which is great. Although we were slightly disappointed with the size of the pies (we might have saved nearly half the money by ordering two single slices and probably wouldn't have gotten much less food), the taste of the pies was excellent! I'm a huge key lime pie fan and I'm always looking for a great one. The lime filling is just the right amount of tangy and creamy and the texture is smooth and perfect. I'm not sure if the full size pie or slices are any different, but the mini pies had a little too much crust to filling ratio, which was accentuated for me by the presence of coconut in the crust -- they really could do without that. But this is a solid and tasty pie from lovely people and deserves a strong four out of five stars!

The amount of trash they produce must be outrageous. House margaritas were very weak and too sour for my taste. Queso fundito was queso poured on top of a small scoop of ground beef. We asked for a spoon (got plastic in plastic wrapper) so we could stir the meat up into the queso to actually get some on the nachos chips. They should have done that before serving us. Ok, so the chips were good - warm and crispy. I had a bowl with chicken tinga. It was ok. Husband got 2 tacos. For a quick cheap meal, people might like it.

He answered my…read moreallergy questions and was nice enough to give me two mustard and two ketchup packets (Sysco brand) without me asking. The problem is value for the dollar. It was $6 for a hotdog. Just a dog and bun. Nothing interesting. Tasted exactly like a plain pan fried hotdog on a grocery store bun. I turned in here for a smash burger not realizing they were gone. I started to leave but decided to give this new concept a try. I should have kept moving. I asked if they had drinks. I was pointed to a cooler. I grabbed a can of soda expecting it to cost about a dollar. Nope. $3 for a can of soda. Not even ice cold. No cup. No ice. No straw. With a tip, it was over $10 for something I would get at a soccer team fund raising booth at a craft fair for $3. They had some other options. Maybe I just picked the dud. If you're selling a hotdog, sell it for $3 or give me a reason to spend $6. Even a simple house made curry ketchup, sharp cheese sauce, bacon jam, or spicy relish would have been sufficient. And $3 for a can of soda? At least give me a cup and ice. I'm out over $10 and I'm still hungry. Bring back the previous tenants.
