This is a new spot so it's still experiencing growing pains and waiting on a liquor license. But the food is good and the service is friendly. I suggest ordering extra protein in your salads if you're very hungry.

First time at Baja Bob's ordered a beer and this is what I got. I asked if they would fill my glass up since it's a draft beer. The bartender said no this is the way it is.

John and Kara make the BEST Margaritas! Highly recommend for a good time. Not too sweet!

Skimped on the meat and shrimp. Meat was gnarly to chew. Overall poorly seasoned. Small portions for price.

The portions were enough to make two meals out of one entree. The Pappardelle was cooked perfectly. The meatballs and sausage had great flavor. I am giving a 4 not 5 since the pasta sauce was nothing spectacular and was basic sauce to me. Also, it might have been me showing up a little early before the order was ready, but it would have been nice to have some red pepper and some Parmesan cheese. Maybe the ordering app could have had a place to ask for this. The Tiramisu had great flavor.

That way, it gives me a chance to try more of the local flavors. Every year before this one I was usually just leaving right after my work was done, but I needed a little me time. Well, as much me time as possible when some of your friends are still in the area. This spot is within walking distance of several hotels in the area, making it an easy destination for people and one of the busiest places to be for meals. Even in the offseason. When we arrived we were greeted promptly at the door and lead to a booth. With menus in hand we were on our way to deciding out meals. I teetered between two, Lasagna and Bolognese. A few of my friends that I came here with had been before and they couldn't shed much light on the matter. When our server came to the table to take our drink orders he was insightful on my options. He basically convinced me in going with the Lasagna with the soul reasoning being that they use the Bolognese sauce in the Lasagna. Sold, Lasagna it was. A bit about the place. Offseason hours a a bit peculiar, short hours during most weekdays and longer ones toward the weekends. It was warm and welcoming and lively. Our server was a delight, I believe one of the owners, or at least that was what the pictures on the wall portrayed. He made sure we were taken care of and that our needs were met. He even apologized for the timeliness of our food coming out. Then the food did arrive. What took me by surprise at first was the portion. It was more than satisfactory, it was quite the piece of Lasagna. Then the first bite, the server didn't lie, it was quite tasty and I was happen that I didn't have to go with just the Bolognese. The sauce held so much flavor and it was quite the item to pull everything together. It was layered perfectly and a fitting meal. My friends were surprised I finished the whole thing. This will definitely be a place I will stop back at if I return. It filled my need for Italian food, and in my mind, far superior with what else is offered within walking distance of the hotels of Dewey Beach.

The sandwich was overfilled to the point you can't pick them up without them falling apart. The add ons (lettuce, tomato, etc) also falling out and making a mess. For this reason I give only 3 stars. It had become a meaningful family tradition for all of us. Just might be unfriendly and coarse treatment We often got from the food pick up area, it wasn't enough to keep us away. During our most recent visit, a roach crawled off my husband's plate. When we brought the food back and try to discreetly inform the manager, manager Lauren appeared annoyed, dismissed the situation by saying it "probably came from the produce," and never once apologized. She grabbed the food and walked away, shaking her head annoyed while saying they would replace it. When I calmly expressed that her response felt rude given the circumstances, she became defensive and downright, rude and abusive rather than compassionate. What happened next was even more disturbing. After remaking the food, Lauren and another manager, Ashley, were seen pointing, laughing, and mocking my husband as he walked away. When he returned the replacement meal and requested a refund instead, Lauren made an inappropriate comment about his anatomy, and Ashley made a shocking remark implying he was abusing his wife. Finding an insect in food is bad enough. Being humiliated and treated with such hostility afterward was unacceptable. After years of loyalty to this location, our family will not be returning.

Slice & Drink Review…read more Louie's is definitely a blast from the past. The dining room is straight out of 1970, and the walk up takeout right next door, at least a few decades older. The black and whites on the walls feel right out of a 50's newsreel. I love all that historic stuff from my own childhood, so it pleased me to go back in time for a little bit. I needed a slice and diet to carry me through the late afternoon and Louie's was right in front of me when we parked near the boards at the top of Rehoboth Ave. I knew nothing about pizza at this shore, but my Jersey roots made me comfortable it would be decent. The reheat on the mushroom slice was strong enough to crisp the firm scorched crust back to life, and allowed the mozzarella to sweat and melt, while the sliced dark schrooms remained embedded in the surrounding cheese. It was a smaller than expected triangle, but the taste and texture were fine. The crust was somewhat airy with a nice crunch; the red sauce wasn't memorable. Five bites and it was gone. Four Stars for the rekindled sandy memories.
