This is the first time I've ever eaten at a Mazzios pizza place. There is a pizza buffet or you can order from a menu. But you have to order at the counter. They do not have servers come to you like Pizza Hut does. There is so many options to choose from but because you have to order at the counter you feel a little rushed. You don't have the time to sit at the table and decide. Anyway. Our pizza came out in good time. Everything tasted good. Similar to Pizza Hut. Only thing to complain about would be their bathroom. It could use some cleaning. read more

The pizza is so good the best one I had and the service is great and the ambiance is casual.

Passing through and decided to see if they had a lunch buffet. No signs were advertise a buffet but decided to walk in and ask. Yes they have a noon buffet and it was very good. I arrived around 1:15 pm and they were continuing refreshing the pizza selections with a variety of fresh hot pizza. The salad bar was a normal section and good and they offered pasta and dessert pizzas has part of the buffet. A drink is extra. Glad I stopped. They just need to put the noon buffet on the marquee and on the building so out of town people know they have one. Y read more

If you like really good pizza, go to Giovanni's in Palestine. If you want some place to take the kids or grandkids so they can put lots of quarters in the video machines and have some fun, this is it. The pizza, whether you eat it from the buffet, or order it special is marginal -- cardboard crust and insipid sauce. The ingredients are okay. Sandwiches are fair, but also fairly expensive considering the quality. Staff are nice. The place is clean. read more

Terrible customer service if going in for a pickup I guess they forgot my order and I waited 15 more minutes in the building while they were putting out pizza for the buffet but my ordered online pizza and wings never came out a while I waited no update when or if my pizza would ever be done so left and went to pizza hut got my pizza hot in 15 minutes read more

Overpriced in my opinion. The pizza and buffet is decent. I really enjoy the salad bar though. The service is good. This place isn't great, but it's not bad. James the delivery driver is an absolute delight. He delivers our pizza every Friday and we so look forward to him. He makes sure our order is correct every time and thanks us profusely for every tip he receives, regardless of the amount. He makes great conversation and remembers my family and our order - and recognizes if it is different. James is such a breath of fresh air in the delivery and food industry. We will continue to order because the pizza is SO good and James is a saint. This man deserves a raise and ALL of the tips! read more

Wow. Dirty, run-down, understaffed and literally NO pizza (not one slice) on the buffet. There were a few slices when we ordered and paid. When we were getting our salads, I asked if that was all of the pizza (thinking maybe there was a second buffet area, because it was really small), and the girl said that they had just been slammed with an unexpected large group, but more pizza would be ready "in just a minute." (Side note - there was no sign of a large group... There was a small birthday party happening in a room that had obviously been reserved.) Those few slices of pizza were gone right away. We thought that by the time we casually finished our salads, there would surely be some pizza on the buffet. So we had our salads, after a solid 20 minutes waiting and checking on regularly, still there was still no pizza on the buffet. I went to the counter to inquire about a refund for the pizza portion of our meal (thinking we would pay for the salad bar), and while I waited for someone to help me, I watched the same girl who had been promising pizza on the buffet place pizza after pizza in boxes - to be given to someone who apparently ordered them. So I asked for a refund, and waited for a manager (whom we hadn't seen our entire time in the restaurant). The only positive was that they gave us a full refund even though we had eaten a salad and our son had had a child's spaghetti (the spaghetti was another story - we had to request it three times and finally stop someone behind the counter and ask them to pour some sauce on the bowl of pasta that had been sitting on the counter and hand it to us). Even still, it was disappointing that the manager offered no apology, or even acknowledgement of the failure. read more

i have not been to a mazzio's in 14 years...and when i say nothing has changed in the building...nothing had changed lol the pizza was not the best it used to be...but it was still good pizza!! loved the salad bar :-) read more

Really disappointed. Arrived Sat at 12:30, 1 cashier, line was backing up because pizza almost out! Pasta cold, almost gone, never refilled. Had to wait for pizza then fast rush for chosen few to get a piece, then wait again. Crazy. At 1:30 got told they quit cooking for buffet! It runs until 2;00. 1 set cheese & 1 cinnamon bread came out whole time, totally went so fast..people were hungry& waiting so long. Salad bar 2 rancid dressings, we told them, they did nothing. Ran out of forks, had to wait 15 min. Wow, Mgr on duty woefully inept. $31 wasted, left hungry. Never again. Just close it, cause u dont care about ur store. read more
