I went there a few nights ago and had such a pleasant experience with the staff and food was great! There was a young man there I cannot remember his name, but it started with a C is a super friendly guy and make sure that we'll got whatever we needed. I grew up in Mississippi and it's super easy to complain about people when they're not doing their job, but the entire staff kept the restaurant clean and professional. While waiting on our food, we overheard lots of cussing and commotion coming from the kitchen area. Our food was brought out at random times and was cold. There were many elements of our dishes that were never brought to our table. The employees had zero concern for any of the customers sitting in the dining area. The restaurant was also very unclean. There was a fly in our tables' parmesan as well as a squeegee on the salad bar. This location needs lots of improvements such as repair and employment. read more

I've ordered DoorDash a couple times here, nothing has inherently gone wrong with my order, but the quality just isn't there. Their pizza is mid and calzone had inconsistent pepperonis. On the flip side, their ranch and wings I enjoyed thoroughly. Would recommend getting these if you're gonna eat here. read more

MOVE OVER NEWK'S! THERE'S A NEW HEAVYWEIGHT SALAD CONTENDER IN TOWN AND ITS MAZZIO'S! I had been searching for a restaurant with a salad bar and I thought there wasn't one in the area until I walked into Mazzio's Pizza and saw several folk crowded around the salad bar stuffing the life out the salad containers. And the salads looked very good. So I ordered a large. It was $9.98. I tipped $2.00 which brought my total to a little over $12. Mazzio's had a very nice salad bar. However it was sort of small. You only have one type of salad green and one type of fresh meat which was cubed ham. They had hard bacon bits. There were fresh eggs and chopped tomatoes. Red onions and peppercini peppers. There were green and black olives which was a pleasant surprise. Raisins and dried onions. Bell peppers and pickled okra. I was so happy to find this tiny but hearty salad buffet. There were also several different salad dressings. The only unpleasant aspect of the restaurant was the two young people up front never smiled. They had no customer service skills whatsoever. I take it this is their first job and they haven't learned to be pleasant yet. Also, the cashier stood over me and stared while I signed the receipt and wrote in the tip section. This made me uncomfortable because I feel she was focused very hard on the tip. And I felt pressured to tip. My grandma and I went to have lunch at their buffet after church. The pizza was cold, and they weren't refreshing the buffet with hot pizzas. The salad bar looked so gross I couldn't bring myself to eat anything from it. Plus they just raised the price, so for two of us to eat at their crappy buffet it was $30. read more

madison,ms I have always loved mazzios pizza, but the workers are RUDE! Asked for them to make something and they never did when they said they would and and there was not a lot of people in the restaurant. then after paying $30 for 2 people to eat off the buffet they will not even let you have a paper cup so you can have a to go drink. all over the people were rude and didn't care and were just ready to leave when there is still 2 hours till closing. And they shut the buffet at 7 but don't close till 9 and the buffet is only opwn 1 night a week. you would think with a large crowd they had when we first got there they would be nice and have the buffet open longer! i just think it's rid how rude people can be! read more

The customer service is good for them to only have one person available in the front! I usually go for the salad bar (Togo). I do wish they had some jalapeños & banana peppers out, but you can ask and they will give you some. Their ranch is (chef's kiss) TOP TIER!!! read more

Mazzio's use to be great but this location is horrible not sure what was spoiled but all of our food tasted sour. We could not eat the food praying that we don't get sick . The Health department needs to investigate this location. Move Mazzios back to Countyline rd in Ridgeland Ms and get it out of Madison Ms. Everytime I go thee food and service has been horrible. you callil in an order and something simple as cut pizza in squares they get wrong, just this pass Thursday I asked for a combo pizza , when I drove all way to get it from Ridgeland I saw all combo ingredients and barely any meat... covered with cheese. when I asked where's the meat. they try giving you the bI'll excuse by saying because you used a coupon we cut down on the meat... what??? a person named E tod me that when I asked. He didn't have a name tag on so I asked for his name and he aggressively pulled a cheap chain around his neck to show me an E ... saying that was his name. he was very hostile to the customer . I told him I didn't want the pizza to refund my card. He aggressively pulled the box forward and hit voids w the receipt. I still don't have my refund to my card yet. Ger this the guy refused to sell me a salad because he was hostile and because I I didn't want the horrible looking pizza.! My experience was a hot MESS!!! plus E said he could remake but it was going to be the same.... so I told him don't bother then. I told them to look me up in the system ,,,, I come all the time to get the same pizza and it never looks like this one .... it has combo meat on top .... NOT melted cheese. I pay good money with y'all ... sometimes with a coupon when theymention one or witho one cause most times I don't bother to look up one. Love this place!!! The buffet was small and that was disappointing but the pizza was still great.

This place is a joke. They run a 7.79 coupon for a buffet then charge you 2.99 for a drink every other buffet comes with a drink but when it's a coupon they charge which makes it higher than the regular buffet. That is just stupid to spend money trying to get folks to come in then to do that. Management is indifferent. Me and my family have been coming there for 10 years off and on. They are loosing a customer over a drink that cost them maybe 10 cents. This place use to be pretty good but is going down fast. If I owned this place I would take a hard look at who is running it. It is filthy not cleaned and very poor customer service. I eat out a lot and review a lot mostly positive but this place really sucks. read more

First time ever visiting this or any Mazzio's Pizza. The kid taking our order was possibly new or just your typical teenager. No sense of urgency and didn't comprehend what we were ordering. Took nearly 30 minutes for my wife's sandwich (which arrived cold) and an additional 10 minutes for our two pizzas to come. They weren't that busy as most were eating the buffet and not custom made pizzas. The pizza wasn't bad; it was mostly just the service. Next time I'll probably go elsewhere. read more

Mazzio's Italian Eatery is one of my favorite places to eat when visiting. Mazzio's offers a wide variety of pizzas, pastas, salads, and starters. The ranch dressing there is delicious, the best I ever had. The food is always excellent and the staff and managers are so friendly. They greet you when entering the doors. The managers are so encouraging to there staff. The restaurant is always clean inside and outside. When going to the bathroom it was clean and smelled nice. I will continue making this a favorite place to eat when visiting Madison. I high recommend anyone passing by to give it a try. read more
