Tikka Pizza - A large pizza with a thick crust is topped with melted cheese, cooked meat, and chopped green onions. It is served on a paper sheet branded with 'Zaza Pizza' at a restaurant table. In the background, there are chairs, tables, and a window with natural light, indicating an indoor dining setting. A small container of sauce and a drink can are also visible on the table.

Very good experience at Mazala Pizza. The flavors were delicious, and the inside was warm and cozy. We had the Tikka pizza with hand-tossed, freshly made dough, masala fries that were fresh and perfectly seasoned with two really good sauces, and firecracker momos fried. Everything tasted great. The owners were super friendly, helpful, and happy to answer questions and chat with us. Definitely will go back. A wonderful experience overall.

Mazala Fries - The image shows a close-up of French fries that are seasoned with spices, including black pepper, and have a crispy, golden-brown exterior. The fries are irregular in shape and size, and are placed on a white paper lining, likely on a serving tray or plate. The focus is on the texture and seasoning of the fries, highlighting their crispiness and flavor.

I was lucky enough to visit on day 2 of their grand opening. I was welcomed with smiles and my food was ready and sitting in the heater. They even threw in a free side of fries which were really good. Overall great experience and will have to return again soon.

A single slice of pizza with melted cheese, vegetables, and toppings is placed inside a green and orange pizza box on a dark wooden table. A small red packet, possibly containing condiments, is nearby. Part of a woven placemat is visible on the right side of the table.

It was $32 for the extra large pizza which feeds 4. It's 8 slices. It's actually good for 3-4 servings. Usually we can get 6-7 servings when we spend that much on a pizza. We didn't have the coupon but you get a free smaller pizza with it. Makes it a much better value Service (A+) The pizza was ready early and the owner is fantastic. Super nice guy. I want small business owners like him to win and be successful. I hope he does really well. Excellent customer service Food (B+) It's a good safe bet pizza place. Wasn't anything amazing or anything bad. In our house we all have different pizza tastes. It was a good product but nothing memorable. Clearly had fresh ingredients and I didn't feel like Yuck after eating it. Didn't feel heavy or processed. The pizza did look amazing. But the taste didn't match completely For me I like Jets pizza and little pops better. The kiddos thought this was on par with rosatis or uncle Pete's. Didn't really stand out like we expected it would. Maybe I am being critical since I was expecting a whole lot more based on the reviews. Maybe I will have to try the gyros and update. Either way give it a try - you won't be disappointed but you may not be blown away either. Make sure you use the coupon for the order

Walking in, I gravitated towards the sign of specials, and then was guided to a table. Along with complimentary bread, I was treated to the sight of an owner (Mama Brasi, as one customer called her) who was visibly engaged in the lives of the clientele, both with repeat customers carrying out as well as with a family dining in, and their little girl who was a fan of salads. A hot bowl of minestrone arrived and added to the warm feelings. But it was the eggplant involtini special that was the star. Cooked and seasoned well, a healthy supply of sauce (I could see some sauce fiends wanting more, but I was content), and enough to take home a bit for lunch the next day. Early November was a little chilly sitting by the door, so keep that in mind for colder months, as there's not much they can do about that.

I ordered garlic bread and a 14" meat lovers pizza to go. They do have some seating inside, more seating than I expected. Initially, the garlic bread was okay. It has a more buttery taste than the other ones I've had. After I reheated it on my pizza stone, it became very tasty and crispy. The garlic bread I give it is 4.5. It tastes great if you use a pizza stone. The pizza on the other hand, I was underwhelmed. I ate it when it was fresh as well as on the pizza stone. The crust is bland and tasteless. The sauce was great. The toppings were okay. I ordered this ultra thin, crispy, and extra sauce. Pizza is like 2.5-3. Overall experience is a 3. This is a one and done for me.

Its very hard to find spots that can accommodate our very particular palates, and even more hard to find good vegan options outside of the city. Thats why I was excited to find this lovely Italian restaurant. The parking lot is small but there's a good amount of sidestreet parking. The inside is warm, cozy and super clean (including the restrooms ). The hospitality stood out right away. The owners and wait staff were very welcoming, and our server was fantastic; honest (which I appreciate), knew the menu well, and once she realized our situation, gave us some wonderful direction on what to order. I wouldn't say that the menu is overwhelming, but I rarely go to a restaurant where it takes me that long to decide what I want. There are lots of interesting options, from braised short rib ravioli to baked ziti, and several tasty appetizers (highly recommend the calamari). But we had come for the PIZZA. My daughter got the kids cheese pizza. It was surprisingly bigger than we thought, and at a great price. The kid only ate half before she said, "I like it...this might be better than [insert famous Chicago pizza brand]." (you MUST KNOW that this is high praise from a 3rd grader). My wife ordered the "They Don't Have Beef With Me" vegan Detroit-style pizza, and I have to admit, it was very good. Somehow they pulled off a buttery (but not butter) crust with melty vegan cheese (but NOT cheese ). Absolutely nailed it. I would have eaten more of hers if I hadn't ordered the Butcher pizza from the wood-fired menu. It was OUTSTANDING. Great flavor, perfect texture. Easily one of thee best wood-fired pizzas I've ever had. We're not drinkers, but they do have a good wine list and some nice zero-proof options, including the Amber Apple and The Drip. We didn't make it to dessert, mostly because the portions are generous, so our bellies (and our to-go boxes) were full. We will definitely be back to try other menu options and for dessert. If your family or friend group includes picky palates or dietary restrictions (the pizzas can be made gluten-free as well), then run...don't walk...to Fiammé. 100/10 recommend.

Make sure to make a reservation because they do get busy, and not be in a hurry because it is smaller inside so you may have to wait after your reservation time to be seated depending on table availability. The food was delicious - we started with the mozzarella sticks - SO GOOD. I ordered the vegetable wood fired pizza and it was good, my husband ordered the Detroit Style double pepperoni and it was also very yummy. The portion sizes are generous so we both ended up taking half of ours home. We are definitely coming back again, I want to try the Fiamme Special firewood pizza!
