I can't say enough good things about the team at Mayorga's Welding. I was in a real bind -- I was supposed to leave Flagstaff that day when the A/C compressor on my car failed, and one of the mounting bolts was badly stripped. I spent the entire day visiting various auto repair shops, but everyone was either too busy or unable to help. As a last-ditch effort, I stopped by Mayorga's a little after 4 PM -- even though they close at 4:30. Despite being near the end of their day, they took the time to help me out. They expertly welded a new bolt head onto the stripped one and removed it without issue. What truly blew me away? They didn't even charge me. Outstanding in every way. My request was surely a one-off - tweaking the setup of the roof rack on my old 4Runner and fabricating extensions onto the brackets supporting accessories for my rooftop tent. The price was equal to the other place in town. Under Covid 19 conditions it took awhile. I requested a completed job but they failed to but on the boots to the post leaving the bolts exposed. I requested they complete the job, they claimed they could not get the parts. I called the Artisan Metal Works, they completed the job immediately - got the parts powder coated and installed with in three weeks. If I do wrought iron work again, I will use AMW and suggest you choose carefully. read more
