I've travelled all over the country and I've been to all sorts of shops. This one is WILDLY overrated, unprofessional, and I've had 3 experiences with them to reach this conclusion. For starters, Buddy the owner is rude. You can tell he's about to retire because he speaks to you as though he doesn't want your business. The shop takes 3-5x longer than they estimate on everything they do. I heard that they are understaffed so those handling electrical are not actually professionals any longer, and they wont disclose any of this until they've changed the quote on you several times and try to gaslight you into rationalizing it, or worse, making you think you're the problem. The youngsters are great and the craftsmanship is acceptable, the project manager is fair at communicating complications when they arise, but that's all soured when management is dishonest. The main shop man Rusty is overworked, unfriendly, dishonest, and the biggest problem is that they don't have competition so they are completely flooded with all of the work, booked out very far ahead of time, and don't get punished for negligent business handlings because they're the only guys in town. Very disappointing experience at $165/hr and I recommend a mobile rv tech over this company 9 times out of 10 unless you absolutely have to get something fabricated. After a water leak over the winter softened the floor of our RV we were recommended to talk to Buddy's for repair. It took a couple of weeks to get in, but once in they were able to remove and repair the floor quickly and correctly. The repair is a few years old now and still holding up great. It took me a couple weeks to get in but it was worth the wait as I'm very pleased with my experience at Buddy's. I will definitely use them again. I brought my own sewer drain hose part to be installed and received no attitude whatsoever. I asked if they could replace the lift mechanism on my Fan-Tastic vent lift for me also and they were able to fix the existing part. I was there about an hour longer than expected but their labor charge was exactly what I'd expected minus parts! Super fair pricing and the guys were so nice. I am very dissatisfied with the customer service, timely promised return calls and the lack of honoring their word. After 2 weeks they had not gotten the parts number to order the parts needed. I then personally called the manufacturer to obtain the parts numbers myself. I gave them the numbers they needed to order the parts. After another 11 days I had still not gotten a promised return phone call saying the parts were ordered. I live out of town and was traveling between cities with my RV. I made several follow up phone calls during these weeks. After much frustration and disappointment I decided to go to another body shop. The parts and repair were complete in a week. read more

On our first day of an RV vacation to celebrate our granddaughter's 5th birthday a big rig had a tire blow in front of us causing a copper electrical cable under the coach to drag on the ground and get chewed up. We arrived in Flagstaff at 11:00 pm and we're waiting at Buddy's door before they opened. Within 15 minutes they evaluated the problem and were able to fit us into their busy schedule. After some research, we chose Buddy's to install a complete solar system on our RV. Buddy, Rusty and the entire crew were amazing in their knowledge, good humourness and excellent work ethic. I love this place. Buddy is a straight forward type of guy with a friendly disposition. He and his team installed my solar panels, inverter, back up camera, and topped my propane. His staff were friendly and shared his commitment to doing excellent work. I did have to wait two weeks to get in, but so glad I waited. My girlfriend and I were in Utah off roading on the white-rim trail. We punctured our water tank and couldn't find a place in utah to fix it. Called Buddy's and they told us to bring it in. Buddy's Welding & RV does an awesome job! I've taken a utility trailer in to get fixed, as well as my Polaris RZR to get some welding done and a couple other custom install items. Both times, I got a call saying they were done several days before they said it would be done. And they did an awesome job on both! They do amazing welding work, and the custom electrical wiring I had them do on the RZR was perfect. My wife and I were in Flagstaff trying to get some warranty repair work done on our Keystone Cougar fifth wheel. After a week of battling with Keystone over cracks in our bumper do to failed welds, Keystone denied our claim. Buddy's Welding & RV to the rescue. We took our fifth wheel over to Buddy's. Buddy was very personable and was able get us in the next day even though he was very busy. What a life saver. Buddy knows his craft very well. He was way ahead of me as to what was wrong and what needed to be done. Brought it in on Tuesday and picked it up on Wednesday morning. Could not have asked for more. Not only did they fix my bumper they made it better. They made it stronger so I can now take the spare tire out of the bed of my truck and put it back on the bumper without having to worry about the bumper cracking and failing again.
