Not a single room that we were placed in looks like the lovely colorful pictures here on Yelp. There are 40 people in our group, every single room had plain white sheets, duvet, one flat pillow, a desk and desk chair.
Do not think you're getting anything bigger than a twin bed. Even a few rooms have two frames, but only one mattress. Reception confirmed they do not have anything but twin beds.
Make sure your doors actually lock: the 4 doors in my students' hall do NOT lock - not an option. It doesn't matter than the apartment (outer) door locks - you may have strangers assigned rooms on your hall.
Double check everything before unpacking: do the lights work? Do you have towels? Etc...
It saddens me to think college students live here for months on end - they deserve better.
There was no hot water for the five rooms in our apartment for 24 hours - we had to figure out for ourselves to click "on" on the device in the common hall. Then we discovered there was another setting that hot water was off from midnight to 730am.
Bring your own drinks & snacks: there isn't any vending machines or the like.
Registration desk is less than helpful: any problem faced was met with very little care or concern. In fact, the words, "Well, this isn't a hotel" were uttered, I guess as an excuse? The desk closes at 11pm (so don't forget your key in the room - you're stuck).
On the plus side, if this is still where you need to stay, it is clean & there are beds & with the cool temperatures, you don't need air conditioning. The staff who made the breakfast worked hard and served a delicious meal! read more
