I met with Peter who came to my house, gave me an estimate, and helped me figure out what sort of cover I wanted. He also helped me easily arrange financing for the project through a se one party. Jonathan worked with me to find a day for installation. And my install team, led by Preston with the help of Chris and Tim, were top notch: polite, professional, and easy-going. What most important? I love my 15'x17' lattice pergola! I highly recommend Royal Covers.

I needed my shingle roof replaced due to hail and wind damage plus it was 22 years old. The…read moreinspector/adjustor from my insurance company came out and did a detailed written evaluation so I had a good idea what I needed before asking roofing companies for estimates. I requested estimates from 3 companies including Craven and two others which were large companies recommended by Rosie on the House. The other two companies provided such poor service initially that I decided not to follow through with them. I had called Craven because a woman in my neighborhood had them replace her roof last year and she was very satisfied with them. Randy came out 3 days later and showed up on time as scheduled. They thought they would be able to schedule the work within 3 weeks but as it turned out they had one crew who had completed another job early and said that if I wished, they could start on my roof in two days. The crew that came out was knowledgable and experienced. The only variable on the estimate was for underlayment which they can't see until they strip the old roof off but they did say that if plywood was damaged it would cost $70 additional for each sheet that needed to be replaced. As it turned out only one had water damage so that was in line with what my insurance adjustor had told me. They used quality materials (Owens Corning) and the job was done on time at the cost they had quoted. Overall, they did a great job and I would recommend them.

I have used Craven Construction for three jobs, all of which involved different roofing materials…read more One was a carport roof that required the installation of a new plywood deck and a mineral cap sheet. The second was a complete home re-roof project with asphalt shingles. The third was a re-roof project with new concrete tile. In each case, they performed the work quickly and professionally to my complete satisfaction. The most amazing one was the tile roof. They literally started and finished the project in two days, including final cleanup. As a former commercial general building contractor, I feel Craven takes great pride in its work and I recommend that anyone with roofing needs contact them for an honest inspection and a competitive proposal.

Falcon Landscapes took on a backyard revamp that changed a forgotten corner of my yard into a…read morebeautiful party patio. The Falcon team worked within a number of constraints, building in conduit runs that will be useful for decades to come, as well as running high and low-voltage power for eventual electrical hookups. They also planned and executed on a pedestal for a long-awaited wood-fired pizza oven, which serves as a centerpiece for the yard. It was easy to communicate with Joseph. He was on-site every day that work happened, and took the inevitable timing changes due to my schedule or that of the pizza oven delivery in-stride. More importantly, he listened carefully to what our desires and needs were, and helped guide the plan toward some things we love now that we would never have known to ask for - such as wall-side seating where we can watch children play. Falcon Landscapes gets highest marks from us. It was a job well done.

Now that they're paid, the job has come to a stop. We paid for a pool chiller that is still not up and working correctly - really great now that we are nearing the end of summer! This job was originally bid as a 12 week build lololol! Some delay was a result of nobody monitoring the pebbletec install that was not correct at all (color and finish!) and had to be jackhammered out! Not impressed, massively frustrated and we cannot in good faith recommend this company. We are now having to hire a plumber ourselves and backbill or head to mediation to get the job finished. Not worth the headache. Subcontractors are not solid in any way and you better be around to monitor as the GC does not at all.
