We should have known since most of the contract we signed dealt with arbitration and not suing them. They told us we had a bad mice and snake problem in our encapsulated crawlspace and attic, and probably the walls too. The work they quoted was expensive but based on other quotes they were on the high side but in line. They quoted 5 things to do. 2 of which they did not do at all, the other 3 they did attempt were complete fails. They incompetently or accidently unencapsulated our crawl space as well. We had to fix that ourselves. They came out 4 times and we had to be there to watch them since each time they did less work, and worse job. The managers came out the last time and it looks laughable. If Orkin's goal was to keep doing so bad we'd say don't come back and quit wasting our time then you succeeded at that! If this is the best you can do, your competitors appreciate you! Us on the other hand feel cheated out of our hard earned money for a piss poor job and apathetic and incompetent organization. He got in my backyard and when I approached him and asked where his permission was to enter my property, he said he did not need one. That it was not criminal trespassing. So if you want these people just to come into your property whenever they feel like it, hire them. Their customer service is extremely unprofessional. If they needed to remove 'their property' from my property, just like they harass you to get into a quarterly membership with them with emails and mail correspondence, they should also let you know that someone is coming and requires access to your backyard and the privacy of your home.

Had I ordered this service, the $75 inspection fee would have been waived, but I paid it. This should make it clear I did not accept the service. I told Stephanie, who is nice & helpful, that I did not want the service, on the day they did the inspection. I thought I was finished with them, but I was wrong. They have a invoice with the former owner's signature requesting the service. When I heard that the service was being performed, I even called Stephanie to make sure they knew I did not want it. I was told that it was on the previous owners, who owned the place at the time. Now, I have received two bills for a service that I refused performed on a property that I did not own at the time. After the first bill, two weeks ago, I was told by Stephanie that it would "taken care of", yet today, I received another bill. On top of all that, they are trying to collect $75, that would have been waived, which has already been paid. I do my own pest control, but if I needed help, I would have called them. Now, I will warn people of their deceitful practices. How is it my responsibility if someone else does not pay her bill? I hope that the Better Business Bureau helps.

The tech they have sent out is not knowledgeable about what or how to treat a home for insects. The ant bait stations outside are just kind of thrown into a corner but never really upright in the ground and they schedule service on days they can treat the outside of a home and skip the inside. We did have a situation with yellow jackets getting into out home and they did help with that but as far as a roach goes it is more lime they are feeding them than killing them. At the price they charge it should have solve the problem by now. Wouldn't recommend.

I have to post a review to say this company is very ethical. Please read to the end…read more We signed an agreement to have services done as squirrels were inside and damaging our home. I made contact with one of their representatives and the process started well. Decent communication and some service commenced. We express the need to address the areas where the squirrels were getting into the house. He said he needed assistance and would get it done. After several days of no response to text messages and calls, I contacted the main office. I explained what transpired. Later that day I received a text from the original representative saying he would be out Monday Nothing Monday. I texted and was giving additional excuses as to why he could make it. I requested a refund as it was almost 3 weeks and the project was far from complete. He said he needed to discuss it with his manager. I call the manager and explained the issues. He extended his apologies and said I would be contacted by his superior. I received a call from the supervisor and explained everything reading the text messages I saved. He asked what was completely and I told him of what I was aware of. requested the refund and he said he would grant my request. He said he would refund the entire amount although some work was completed. It's truly unfortunate that the representative I was dealing with let me and his company down as I believe their leadership is very good.
