I have met Jerry and Justin of Bulwark Exterminating. Both were knowledgeable, friendly, on time, reassuring, and just a pleasure! In my 54 yrs. I have NEVER needed nor even used an exterminator. Well... That all changed when I moved from NY to here, learned about German and hissing cock roaches, and met a creature (the Spawn of Satan) called a Camel Cricket. That's right people back in NY! A spider that can JUMP! That CHASES YOU DOWN THE HALL AND STICKS TO WALLS AND GROWS SO BIG IT CAN JUMP AND TURN OVER A PYREX BOWL!!! Sorry...i digress...PTSD...where was I? Oh yes!! Bulwark!!! They are AWESOME SAUCE!!! Can't beat their prices!! Or friendly service!! Or great job!! They get it done!!!! Where can you pay every other month... And if you see ONE INSECT at ANY time in between on your off month (or not...) Just call. They will come over and spray and KILL! No charge. You just pay your contract. I met a new young man, Colton. Highly recommend. We have been having German roach/Waterbug problems. My father in law recommended them, so I called and spoke to Biruta. She was very informative, helpful, and nice. She treated me with great care, and also helped with any and all questions. Once we discussed pricing options and I decided on the monthly option, we got our appointment set up. All of this happened in a matter of 15 minutes or less. The day before the appointment, they called and asked if it would be okay to move the appointment from 12 to 1:30pm due to being behind normal schedule. Of course, I said yes especially since they let us know way ahead of time. Shane Skelton, our service tech, arrived on time and did a wonderful job. We found a rather large hornet's nest in a backyard shrub and I got stung. Bulwark was the only company willing to do a one-time service call to remove the nest, and they quoted a fair price. When Colton arrived he informed us that he intended to spray in and around the house for pests as well in order to give us our money's worth for the call. Not only did Colton get rid of the hornet's nest, he also found a few other yellow jacket nests around the property that he eliminated. The price charged was as quoted, Colton called before he came out and arrived promptly. The entire experience was refreshingly professional, courteous, and thorough. Matthew was very thorough. Did a great job getting into all the nooks and crannies with the bug spray. I have had their service since June, and all the representatives of this company have been great. All of them have been very personable and our great asset to the Bulwark company. This company has gotten all the creepy crawlies under control!! The really nice thing about this company is that if you notice bugs coming back before their next scheduled spraying, they will come out for free to respray, which I've had to use once I highly recommend this company. We went on vacation and came home to mouse droppings. I called Bulwark and spoke to Abel about that as well as the sugar ants that have been popping up. He was very attentive and laid out a plan of treatment and the pricing up front. The price was fair even before he gave me a discount. They came out same day and Cathy did a great job explaining where and why she was putting the traps and even said we could call them to remove the triggered traps if we didn't want to throw them away. They sent a team member to our neighborhood relentlessly. He came to our house 2x in 12 hours and the second time he walked through our yard dispersing a chemical/pellet that we did not ask for nor were informed was happening. We have young dogs and children and are very concerned as to what this employee just haphazardly tossed into our extremely expensive, professionally landscaped, sod lawn. Also, this employee was not wearing a mask. After speaking with the neighbors everyone is agreement that he was acting beyond aggressive, not taking no for an answer, and not respecting our property or personal space. read more

I've used Bulwark for years. I selected them at first from a recommendation and then reading about the products they use. I have pets and kids, so safety was #1 for me. Anytime I need a retreatment, it's at no cost and they can usually come within 1-3 days of my request. Matt is especially always very communicative and sends pics of the areas he's treated. They are always on time and the personal touch with the text messaging is nice, especially if I have a specific area of concern or a basic question. He is the epitomy of what any service based industry would want in a technician/representative. He is so pleasant and professional, it's like having a friend over. He is VERY thorough while also efficient. He is happy to answer my questions or address any concerns and never makes me feel like I a m bothering or interrupting him. We had a problem primarily with large Palmetto Bugs (roaches) and grasshoppers. Since starting Bulwark about 6 mos ago all bugs are nearly non-existent! If we do happen to find a bug or 2 they are either dead or dying. Love that we can call between services for a quick booster as needed for no additional charge. Lacy is an exceptional technician. She is very personable, polite, thorough but respectful of our space and privacy, and was sweet to our dogs. She spent a respectable amount of time here getting every nook and cranny both inside and outside the house. Hope we can get her again in the future! read more

Keith did a great job explaining everything when he got to my house. He asked me where my main needs were and what might have changed. I am glad he asked, because our lawn mower had been giving us fits and the mosquitos had takes over the back yard. I let him know the garage was fine, but the back yard needed extra care. He spent extra care in the back yard and on the back deck area and it has helped a lot. We will be mowing the lawn soon and he said if we needed him to come back to let him know. A few months ago, after successfully ridding my crawlspace of rats, Jackie B of Bulwark came to my house and accomplished what no one else had been able to get done before! Various kinds of liquid had been unsuccessfully applied to a large underground wasp nest. Nothing had worked! Jackie first chemically treated the wasp nest and thereafter - very bravely - with a large shovel - delivered a huge semi-occupied wasp nest out of the ground to the surface.
