I am a convicted felon who had his Civil Right to Vote taken at the time of my conviction and sentence to 8.5 years in the AZ Dept. of Corrections in 1995 and my sentence was completed in October, 2003. In March, 2020, a friend informed me that he had seen an ad on TV about Mayes/Telles, Law Firm, and how he thought they could assist me, a convicted felon (who had served time, 8.5 years in prison) get my Civil Rights Restored. In April, I reached out to Mayes/Telles and they put me together with a smart and competent young lawyer, Nicole, who, from the start, was a consummate professional, courteous, focused and responsive to my every request for information. Nicole gave me a list of everything that she would need me to provide and after sending her all of the information, Nicole filed my Motion for Restoration of Civil Rights with Superior Court and sent me a copy of the Motion. The State filed their response and Nicole filed a reply and Nicole sent me copies of every document. Things were moving really slow due to the pandemic and in September, with the November 3rd Election fast approaching, Nicole filed a Motion to expedite the Court Decision. On December 21, 2020 Nicole called me and informed me that the Court had Ordered the Restoration of my Civil Right to Vote. I was ecstatic and I could not express my elation any better than to tell her, Thank You! I feel compelled to write this review to let any other men or women who have lost their rights due to a felony conviction that Mayes/Telles, Law Firm, gave me the best representation that I could have ever wanted. In my case, my Right to Vote has been restored and I believe I won this case because Mayes/Telles has the best legal minds and is the best Law Firm in town to represent you. There are never any guarantees on the outcome of any legal matter, but Mayes/Telles and, in my case, Nicole, knew the Law, they gathered the pertinent information necessary and they presented and represented my case to the Court. On a scale of 1 - 10, I give them a 10+. I will vote in the 2022 Mid-Term Election and I will vote in every election thereafter. God Bless Mayes/Telles and all the Attorneys, like Nicole, who represent their commitment to the Law and Justice for all men and women. read more

I would like to begin my review of Daniel Fulce "Daniel" by saying if I could give him 10 stars, I would. But since I am unable to do just that, how about five ++ stars. First, let me say that my opinion of Daniel is his first rate, top notch professional expertise, his empathy, camaraderie and ability to tap into a person's needs along with his ability to ultimately look to ways to present a successful outcome for my husband, Bruce Frost. Bruce is not an easy guy to work with. Difficult would be an understatement. My husband is the most stubborn guy on the face of the planet, but Daniel kept his composure always trying his best to understand where Bruce was coming from and how best to resolve this case based on the circumstances presented. Facts presented, case presentation and final and ultimate best resolution are all factors that play into this and Daniel hit them all. He met with and worked out a plan with the prosecutor to put Bruce on a path where he would be able to ultimately have his case dismissed. Hallelujah! My husband was reluctant to accept this passive plan, but Daniel assured him this was the best possible avenue to resolve this and with the best outcome for Bruce. And with my prodding, Bruce attended the final hearing and came through with flying colors. But this could not have been accomplished without Daniel's complete follow-through. This was a WIN-WIN for Bruce, and we cannot thank Daniel enough. Daniel, we appreciate you!!! read more

I'm writing a review for MayesTelles law firm , and especially for Mr Sean Collins . First off a little bit about my situation I had a private attorney who had his own law firm he left me hopeless scared my future in despair, I felt hopeless . So I fired him and hired this company here. It was the best decision I've ever made in my life. My attorney Sean Collins is a power attorney a no BS type of guy. I was facing some serious serious time for something that I wasn't guilty of. And Sean went in fighting and got me no time at all which my first attorney told me that it's not possible, and it dident matter who I hired, I was doing time regardless if I was innocent. MayesTelles from the first initial appointment , to discuss my case , gave me hope and we created a plan that worked better than expected better than I was hoping for. I'm still in shock, I am beyond happy and thankful and appreciative my family is too as well. If you're thinking of who to hire you need to give these guys a look because they are the difference 100%. They fight very hard they're very very smart and what they do they create a good good plan and they stick to it and it works. And Sean Collins I could never say enough good things about this man. Myself and my family owe him so much he is one of the most important people I met in the last 10 years I'm blown away thank you Sean very very much for my heart from my family and my future. You are appreciated , thank you MayesTelles! read more

I was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Felony 3 and faced 5-15 years in prison if found guilty. My first lawyer said the best I could ever hope for was Felony 3 with No Agreements where the Judge would decide my sentence and hope for work furlough/release. She also said if I didn't want to spend at least a year in jail we would have to go to trial which was going to cost me even more money. A felony on my record would eventually end my current job as well as my career, not to even mention the year in jail. My life was on the line so I decided I needed a new lawyer. I went to Mayes Telles and Candy Maruffo was assigned my case. It was the best thing that has happened to me. Candy never pressured me to take any of the plea deals. She understood my situation and how I couldn't lose my job/career. After turning down several plea deals, Candy was able to get a plea of Endangerment, Felony 6 Undesignated and 6 months in jail with work furlough. This way once I could done with probation the charge would be dropped to a misdemeanor which will save my job since I also got out to go to work. I can never thank Candy and the associates at Mayes Telles enough for the time and energy they put on my case. There is not a day that goes by that I don't thank God for putting Candy in my life. She saved my job, my career, and my lifestyle. I will be forever grateful. read more

I went to this firm at a very vulnerable point in life--a black immigrant being falsely accused of an misdemeanor assault (my first and hopefully last encounter with police), during COVID 19 lockdown in April 2020! After talking to different attorneys, I decided to retain MayesTells based solely of the energy I got from their paralegal, Carlos. It felt right to pay this service upfront even though success was never guaranteed. The compassion and assurance I got from the start made me feel at ease during the entire process. I was assigned to the first attorney who was not overly communicative but even so, there was continuous assurance of the best representation there can ever be. Two months into the case with series of postponements of the hearings by the court due to the pandemic, I was assigned a different attorney, Ravindar Arora and he was exceptional. He kept me updated without me having to follow up and assured me that he'll keep fighting for me. He pushed until this unfair case against me was dismissed and I couldn't be happier. I'm really grateful to Ravi for his effort in getting this case dismissed. I truly appreciate this firm for ensuring quality service and care for their clients. I'd recommend MayesTells Law Firm to anyone who needs a lawyer who truly cares for the well-being of their clients and success of the case. read more

Me and my partner were in a pretty sticky situation due to false allegations and it looked the state and federal department took interest with him being on probation. They attempted to prosecute my partner to the full extent and things were looking grim for us. We contacted MayesTelles attorneys and were assigned Shahin Damoui and let me tell you this man is top of the line. He maintained constant contact with us, late nights, weekends, early morning, it did not matter he was dedicated to our case and cause. He saw through the false allegations and had my partner out in two weeks instead of the years they were discussing. If you want a hard hitter, someone who legitimately does not "f" around then you need this man on your team. I don't have one negative thing to say about him, he kept in contact contact and was kind and understanding and saw that my partner was innocent and he worked to free him in both the state and federal court. I would recommend him a thousand times over. I initially called their firm at midnight and by 3am i had talked to several people and my partner saw the lawyer Shahin that morning, no delays. This man fought hard for us and i feel so honored to have had the privilege of seeing him work. read more

If you are looking for an attorney who will actually fight for your freedom and get results, you need to specifically request Kellen Marlow at MayesTelles. Kellen's professionalism and execution in the courtroom were incredible. I was in a very bad spot, I had been on warrant status for a full year. Despite that massive hurdle, Kellen managed to get me released on my own accord during the entire trial process without me having to post any bail or bond. He basically kept me out of prison and gave me my life back. I cannot thank him enough for the outcome he secured for me. The only reason I am giving a heads-up in this review is regarding the firm's initial intake process. When I did my first consultation, the guy at the front desk (who was not an attorney) told me they would have my warrant quashed the very same day. This was a completely false promise, and it actually took weeks to get quashed. To be completely clear: the false promise had absolutely nothing to do with Kellen Marlow. Kellen did the actual heavy lifting and saved my case. Just be aware that the intake guys might overpromise on timelines to get you in the door. But once your case gets handed to Kellen, you are in the best hands possible. read more

From my first pleasant introduction to the front office Staff, to assistants Josh and George, who guided me through the legal contractual experience of a criminal case, and kept me informed and in touch with everything I needed, to begin a case against the AZDES with their in house Unemployment Law Specialist Shahin Damoui and his Paralegal Assistant Jeannine Hicks, to the successful end of the case journey, resulting in the decision in favor of myself the Claimant, I could not more strongly recommend this great Law Firm to anyone, in need of professional, compassionate legal assistance! I especially need to give the highest reference and gratitude to my case partner Shahin, who was commanding with his insights and talent, compassionate with his correspondence and praise, and deft in his handing of the eventual Hearing Testimony with our assigned Appellate Judge, along with several cancellations and rescheduling. First Class Gentleman, at a First Class Firm, offering First Class Legal Assistance, for which I am eternally grateful, and for which any other legal assistance I may need in the future, will pale in comparison to. Thank you everyone at Mayes Telles for being amazing! read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! ABSOLUTELY EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE!! They ARE CROOKS AND SCAMMERS!! THEY OVERCHARGE YOU AND TAKE FOREVER! HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION AND DOG SHIT I EOT STAFF!! MELODRAMATIC ASS PPL WORK HERE!! THEY ARE FAKE AF AND EXTREMELY TUDE!! I hired an Attourney who quit the firm during the middle of the case, I was given a different Attourney who spoke extremely slow. He took forever and lied about sealing my case. Paid them thousands of dollars to go to trial over a traffic violation where I was literally shot at at and he never even got it sealed. Now after my mom passing away during this entire nightmare I am trying to get a quote on how much they would charge me to seal it even tho I already paid the Attourney through PayPal to seal it and ever did... 6 months later they're saying he no longer works for them and they have no record of me paying for it to be sealed. Then after waiting weeks for someone to get back to me on a quote and taking all my information down I was just dismissed and they said they won't be able to help with my case anymore !! What tf is wrong with these ppl and how tf are they in business still!??? read more

My experience working with Mayes Telles is by red carpet customer service. I contacted they're office on a Saturday afternoon and I received a phone call two minutes after I submitted my inquiry, and the response time blew me away. MayesTelles treats every individual with equal dignity across the board rich or poor. Sawyer is legal administrator & being arrested for the first time, I'm not familiar with the process. Sawyer didn't waste no time fighting for me , and i was not given any paperwork on my charges. It took Sawyer 1 minute to explain my charges and if I didn't have this amazing team to back me, I would have a record stamped for life, Sawyer is on your file before you walk in the door. This firm is the absolute best at communication and when they say they will call you, you can expect a call back no later than 15 minutes. I live 40 minutes from the office and 20 minutes later I received 1 call from Sawyer giving me valet treatment my lawyer will be calling me within 5 minutes. This firm is so well organized and on your case before you even blink. If you want the absolute best , The train stops here to having your life back. read more

Mayes Telles is completely professional, while also being very compassionate and under standing of your legal issues. I am incredibly Grateful for Mayes Telles. Mr Blake and Nichole stood by me for 4 years. Mr Blake along with myself and many others felt I got a raw deal from the courts and Mayes Telles stood beside me until my legal battle was takin care of. Today it has finally been takin care of. Words can not express my gratitude. I am so grateful I have been in tears of happiness that my case is finally behind me now. I really hope you choose Mayes Telles. I can promise you they will fight for you, and they will truly be by your side. They never rushed off the phone with me. Everything was always explained very well. I can keep writing for hours on just how amazing Mayes Telles law firm is. Please believe me when I say you will not be let down. One very postive comment I want to make is everyone in the law firm fights for you, not just one attorney but they all work together. I wish whoever reads the this review the very best. I don't exactly know where to start. I would recommend not using MayesTelles. How would you like to pay $7,000 for an attorney ( Zachary Thornley ) and him not even show up for 2 weeks to handle your case. My son had a Public Defender for 12 days. He didn't even go see my son for almost 5 weeks. He didn't file papers for Simpson Hearing early enough so it was eventually denied. We had to fire him. Then another attorney took over ( Melanie Laboy ). She wasn't much better. We trusted her and she proved us wrong. Be careful signing any contracts, cause they can slip a CRIMINAL INVESTICATION FEE CONTRACT IN WITHOUT EXPLAINING IT. When you sign a INVESTICATION CONTRACT, then they hit you up for more money to represent you in court. Only sign a CRIMINAL CASE FEE CONTRACT. Be very careful of 2 guys there, I call them the hustlers, ( Dean Turnbow and Toby ). Long story short, I have paid them $23,000 and just fired them and taking them to the Arizona Bar. All they care about is money, always hustling you for money. Stay away, there are some good attorneys out there, it just isn't them. read more

My experience with MayesTelles was the best experience I've had with any attorney before. I had a class 1 misdemeanor from 2012. This was preventing me from obtaining occupational licenses. I had another attorney originally and they charged me for the set aside. They did nothing for 3 months. I was frustrated. When I first contacted the office of MayesTelles, I had someone spend several hours re-searching my case with me. Something my previous attorney did not do. We figured out eligibility right then and there. I was able to have MayesTelles immediately start working on my case. I spoke to Kaitlin, and she was very understanding when I had questions. Within one week she got my Set Aside request approved. This is normally a 3-4 month process. She had no problem answering any questions I had about the matter. She made time for me. I was treated with respect; they also had a sense of urgency towards the matter. This is turning into a life changing event for me. read more

Make no mistake, MayesTelles really does the work for you and gets the results. Criminal Defense Attorney Nicole Lopez is tough as nails and is legal counsel you want. She's great! I was falsely accused of domestic violence crimes I did not commit. Not only was MayesTelles Criminal Law Firm able to get my charges dismissed but Attorney Nicole Lopez fought hard to clear my name. She represented me in a Petition for Notation of Clearance that I received from the Mohave County Superior Court in January 2020. After that, in July 2021, she fought hard for me as Co-Counsel in a Personal Injury lawsuit against the person who falsely reported crimes against me and won a conviction and monetary award in my favor for damages I incurred. I'll tell you one thing that's definitely for sure I would not be able to have my career as a teacher today. She truly saved a big piece of my life, she is worth every bit of her retainer, if you are a person in the pursuit of justice. read more

I cannot say enough tremendous things about this firm and my lawyer, Ms. Nicole Lopez. From the onset when she was given my case, midstream, she was thorough, professional, and relentless in her capacity as a Defense Attorney. I owe her and the firm my entire career for which she methodically picked apart the false allegations brought against me, and I was able to come away with my career, but most importantly, my dignity. In a world of malicious people, it is refreshing to know that there are those who stand for justice and can bring about the truth for those of us who fall victim to unscrupulous people. Ms. Lopez is that beacon of justice with her knowledge of the law and her demeanor, but her delivery within a court setting is stellar. I would recommend her as an Attorney to anyone and would like her firm, Mayes Telles, to know that they have an incredible professional in Nicole Lopez. With respect, Alex Hernandez read more

The last 1.5 years have been a whirlwind of an adventure with these guys. Mostly negative but what their saving grace was Gail Barsky. After dealing with a horrible lawyer before (Claudia Horan) who litterally accepted my case and then forgot about it, then later neglected to inform any of her clients that she was no longer working for MayesTelles my case was assigned to Gail. With less than six months before my case hit the two year mark she was able to resolve the whole accident. Gail was always on her game, calling me and informing me of all the progress that was going on. She actually cared for me and my case, trying to get everything that she could for me even though it was so last minute. The only reason why MayeTelles is getting a 5 star is because of her. I seriously recommend Gail, if any of my friends or family are in need of a lawyer in Arizona without hesitating I'd hand them her phone number. Thanks Gail! read more

I would like to express a "big" thank you in regards: to staff at MayesTelles, including especially Gail Barsky and Michelle Lopez for helping me to experience "positive" results from my personal injury case successfully! We won! The ladies made me feel comfortable and feel like was a family member. They expressed being genuinely sincere, empathetic and energetic at all times of contact. Once again they to treated me with respect and have been extremely kind. You will also feel very confident when talking about your personal case as to an Intake representative and getting started with a licensed attorney. I will continue to work with this firm in the future if needed. Good Lawyers is what they are. Sky is the limit with MayesTelles PPLC. I will always refer others' about this wonderful law firm.
