I am a convicted felon who had his Civil Right to Vote taken at the time of my conviction and sentence to 8.5 years in the AZ Dept. of Corrections in 1995 and my sentence was completed in October, 2003. In March, 2020, a friend informed me that he had seen an ad on TV about Mayes/Telles, Law Firm, and how he thought they could assist me, a convicted felon (who had served time, 8.5 years in prison) get my Civil Rights Restored. Things were moving really slow due to the pandemic and in September, with the November 3rd Election fast approaching, Nicole filed a Motion to expedite the Court Decision. On December 21, 2020 Nicole called me and informed me that the Court had Ordered the Restoration of my Civil Right to Vote. I was ecstatic and I could not express my elation any better than to tell her, Thank You! I feel compelled to write this review to let any other men or women who have lost their rights due to a felony conviction that Mayes/Telles, Law Firm, gave me the best representation that I could have ever wanted. In my case, my Right to Vote has been restored and I believe I won this case because Mayes/Telles has the best legal minds and is the best Law Firm in town to represent you. I would like to begin my review of Daniel Fulce "Daniel" by saying if I could give him 10 stars, I would. But since I am unable to do just that, how about five ++ stars. First, let me say that my opinion of Daniel is his first rate, top notch professional expertise, his empathy, camaraderie and ability to tap into a person's needs along with his ability to ultimately look to ways to present a successful outcome for my husband, Bruce Frost. Bruce is not an easy guy to work with. Difficult would be an understatement. My husband is the most stubborn guy on the face of the planet, but Daniel kept his composure always trying his best to understand where Bruce was coming from and how best to resolve this case based on the circumstances presented. Facts presented, case presentation and final and ultimate best resolution are all factors that play into this and Daniel hit them all. He met with and worked out a plan with the prosecutor to put Bruce on a path where he would be able to ultimately have his case dismissed. Hallelujah! My husband was reluctant to accept this passive plan, but Daniel assured him this was the best possible avenue to resolve this and with the best outcome for Bruce. And with my prodding, Bruce attended the final hearing and came through with flying colors. But this could not have been accomplished without Daniel's complete follow-through. First off a little bit about my situation I had a private attorney who had his own law firm he left me hopeless scared my future in despair, I felt hopeless . I was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Felony 3 and faced 5-15 years in prison if found guilty. My first lawyer said the best I could ever hope for was Felony 3 with No Agreements where the Judge would decide my sentence and hope for work furlough/release. She also said if I didn't want to spend at least a year in jail we would have to go to trial which was going to cost me even more money. A felony on my record would eventually end my current job as well as my career, not to even mention the year in jail. My life was on the line so I decided I needed a new lawyer. Me and my partner were in a pretty sticky situation due to false allegations and it looked the state and federal department took interest with him being on probation. They attempted to prosecute my partner to the full extent and things were looking grim for us. Now after my mom passing away during this entire nightmare I am trying to get a quote on how much they would charge me to seal it even tho I already paid the Attourney through PayPal to seal it and ever did... 6 months later they're saying he no longer works for them and they have no record of me paying for it to be sealed. Then after waiting weeks for someone to get back to me on a quote and taking all my information down I was just dismissed and they said they won't be able to help with my case anymore !! I don't exactly know where to start. I would recommend not using MayesTelles. How would you like to pay $7,000 for an attorney ( Zachary Thornley ) and him not even show up for 2 weeks to handle your case. My son had a Public Defender for 12 days. He didn't even go see my son for almost 5 weeks. He didn't file papers for Simpson Hearing early enough so it was eventually denied. We had to fire him. Then another attorney took over ( Melanie Laboy ). She wasn't much better. We trusted her and she proved us wrong. Be careful signing any contracts, cause they can slip a CRIMINAL INVESTICATION FEE CONTRACT IN WITHOUT EXPLAINING IT. When you sign a INVESTICATION CONTRACT, then they hit you up for more money to represent you in court. Only sign a CRIMINAL CASE FEE CONTRACT. Be very careful of 2 guys there, I call them the hustlers, ( Dean Turnbow and Toby ). Long story short, I have paid them $23,000 and just fired them and taking them to the Arizona Bar. All they care about is money, always hustling you for money. Stay away, there are some good attorneys out there, it just isn't them. read more

After dealing with a horrible lawyer before (Claudia Horan) who litterally accepted my case and then forgot about it, then later neglected to inform any of her clients that she was no longer working for MayesTelles my case was assigned to Gail. With less than six months before my case hit the two year mark she was able to resolve the whole accident.
