Beet salad with chicken
Sara M.

Awesome vibe and decor, good service, and live music! I got the beet salad and added grilled chicken- it was good but I was expecting more greens than the few sprigs I got. It was good, but I was a little disappointed. My mom got the fish tacos which was good - I wish they had some dairy-free options for those lactose-free folks - Disney is pretty good about that, so I'm surprised they didn't have that here.

Chicken fingers kids meal

I dined at Maya Grill during my recent stay at Coronado Springs. My son and I did not have reservations but we were able to be seated for dinner. Arturo was our server and he provided excellent service. Unlike most Mexican restaurants, chips and salsa are not complimentary here so we ended up getting the chips with salsa and queso for $12.00. The queso had zero flavor but the chips and salsa were okay. My son ordered the chicken fingers and fries kids meal which was a good portion but looked and tasted like it had been sitting under a warmer all day. The steak fajitas were decent and probably the best thing we ordered. While the service was excellent, the food itself was lacking and overpriced. I guess it's typical for resort restaurants to have subpar food at high prices.

First of of like to point it what I saw from another review, that when we asked about seating they told us about a 45 minute wait, so we went on the app and joined the walk up wait list which said it would 35 minutes and then went towards the quick service area and we figured if we got hungry, we would just get something there. 5 minutes later we get a text that our table was ready and had to start walking back to the restaurant and then were taken to our table and the restaurant was half empty so they had plenty of seats and there was no need for the theatrics of the wait, they just do it to seem like it's somewhere people want to go and eat so you make a reservation in the future. The atmosphere is nice and very will decorated and they had someone playing live music on a guitar. Our server was also very polite and she even remembered to bring my drink without over where most places forget that. She even noticed I needed a refill before I asked and they even have the better quality recyclable draws rather than the paper ones Disney had everywhere that you end up eating with your drink. My wife even liked trying the flight of margarita she ordered (although she only really finished one of them) Unfortunately that's where the good stuff to mention about the restaurant stop. I always tend to watch if they will bring you water when you sit down as that is generally a sign of a good restaurant. Here they did not. The food was meh, nothing I'd recommend to anyone. Nothing bad, just not worth it, especially since they are quite pricey. From the appetizers all the way to the dessert, nothing worth ordering again. I think the quick service had better quality food and is a cheaper option. I'd probably do that unless you really want the sit down experience. Not a place to go back to.

We always feel like this place is underrated and this last visit was no exception. We did not have a reservation but were seated immediately. We ordered cocktails which are always fantastic, my personal favorite is the Prickly Pear margarita. We also tried the Guacamole, as well as the queso, so fresh and tasty. The pork is the star of the show and is something we order on every visit

Mole short rib $40

Due to poor planning and a 40 min bus ride from MK, I arrived at 7:20pm on a Tuesday hoping to get bar seating. The hostess said there was no availability and it would be a 50 min wait. I noticed a sign to order to go & I happened to be staying at Coronado. She called the manager who had to approve the order and then took the sign away after we stepped aside. My guess is they were too busy for to go orders as well. $40 braised short rib over chipotle sweet potato mash, Brussel sprouts & a mole demi glaze was what my friend and I both ordered. When the food came I thought it was just one because the bag did not look over full in weight. It was in fact 2 dishes worth. After I cut off 3 tablespoons of fat, the actual shirt rib was delicious and tender. I hd forgotten about the mole demi glaze which grazed the less than al dente brussels. The potato mash couldn't have been more than a few teaspoons as well. Manager was nice & accommodating, hostess seemed... stressed, food was good but definitely not worth the money. IMO this was a miss.

The few times I have been here, I have really enjoyed our meal. I really liked the fish tacos, and highly recommend the queso to start. I am not a huge margarita fan, but the mood struck me, so I tried one, and it was delicious. The staff here is all very friendly and it honestly has a nice ambiance. Lots of windows that look out onto the resort, and a couple of times that I was there, they had great live music! It is easy to get a reservation through the Disney app, even the day of. Not sure about walking in. But each time we had a reservation, we were seated very quickly.

That marg flight! And Enchilada with plantain
Azsure D.

I am glad Coronado has a table service option- this property is so large you need a place to eat. And of course the legendary Disney service! They have a wonderful adult drink selection. I had the marg flight and it was good. The meal quality was not my favorite. I was starving so I ate it all quickly after a day of conferences at the convention hall. They do have a plant based plate on the menu. So overall a good choice when you need it. The price is challenging but you balance the convenience and amazing service.

Churros and Ice Cream

We've lived here for nine years and turns out we've been sleeping on Maya Grill in all that time. We finally decided to come and we will absolutely be back. Wow! We were blown away by the flavors here. We started with the chicken tinga flautas. They are served under a pile of toppings including lettuce, cheese, corn, pico de gallo & chipotle sauce. They were crispy and flavorful. Portion size was a little small but they were so good. We decided to order the Maya Grill Parrillada to share for two of us. The quantity of food easily could have served three. It comes with steak, chicken, shrimp, corn, rice, peppers & onions, tortillas, cheese, pjco, sour cream, and the shrimp are covered in a chimichurri sauce. The corn has a chipotle sauce (the same one with the flautas), that I asked for more of because it had such delicious spicy sweet flavor. This dish reminded me of fajitas in that you used tortillas to contain all the ingredients into one bite. All the proteins were perfectly cooked and I was obsessed with the corn & how much flavor it had. We had so much food I got to take leftovers home. For dessert we got the churro spirals. Also so tasty, the churros were perfectly cooked with crispy outside and soft inside, a yummy caramel sauce and some strawberries. We were absolutely stuffed after this. The vibes are immaculate. It's more on the chill side for Disney and they was a guitarist playing instrumental covers of Disney songs.

Fish Tacos
Frank W.

I ordered the fish tacos with the seasoned fries. The fries were tough and required more chewing than I am accustomed to. The flavor was okay but not exquisite. I only ate three of the six fries. In contrast, the fish tacos were very good with just the right blend of spice and sauce. The cabbage was crisp and the fish was flavorful. The ambiance of the restaurant was enchanting with engaging acoustic music and Mayan themed wall decor. My server was polite and checked to make sure I was enjoying my meal. I told her I enjoyed the tacos.

Marcello! (I hope I'm spelling this right).
Dani J.

We did enjoy our evening here, but we were one of two tables in the entire place and it took about an hour to get our food. And it was expensive as we come to expect in Walt Disney World, but the food was great and I loved the guitar guitarist, Marcello. That was a highlight for me.

Disclaimer: this review is for the lunch buffet only…read more I went with my family to try the $18.49 all you can eat lunch buffet. This was my first time experiencing a buffet for hispanic food and for this price point in Orlando, this is an amazing value deal. The server regularly brought us out silverware, napkins, and refilled our water. The place is decorated very fun and plays latin music which was lovely Not only was there an unlimited assortment of lunch foods, but an entire bar of fresh toppings for tacos (or rice bowls) and made to order desserts which were included for free! Not everything on the buffet line was the best but given the amount of options, price, and how good the great items are this is still worth a five star rating. I unfortunately did not take pictures of the food before I began devouring everything in sight to the point of near-collapse, but I will do a quick rundown of the buffet highlights: The best meats were the fajita steak, chicken, and shrimp made fresh in cast iron skillets, as well as the chicken lengua which was super flavorful and tender. The mexican rice, beans, fajitas, plantains, and street corn were also excellent. Fresh quesadillas, chips, and corn tortillas on standby with homemade queso and salsas. The flan and mini churros were the best I've ever had. Super rich, decadent Carmel flan. Mini churros hot and crisp on the outside, filled with a gooey soft milk chocolate center. They were delicious. Items that were disappointing: the tamales, mini chicken flautas, and beef chimichangas were just okay, lacking the seasoning and flavor that other dishes had. The beef barbacoa was not as tender or flavorful as the shredded chicken surprisingly. The mixed seafood was itself a mixed bag with some shrimps / scallops overcooked to much while others were perfectly cooked. The chicken mole and beef tri tip were room temperature despite sitting on hot plates. The tri tip also varied widely in doneness throughout the slices and not super tender. The rice pudding was pretty standard, and the tres leches cake was weird as they crumbled the cake into pieces before soaking it.

I enjoy this location specifically because it's just off I4 without far to go. That is KEY for me after a long day at the parks and having to drive home afterwards. The food is always delicious here. My favorite is the queso. It's my favorite queso out of ANY restaurant. And while I prefer supporting local, family owned businesses vs chains, this is definitely a favorite of mine due to unique menu and offerings, and that DAMN GOOD queso! Staff here is always friendly and working hard. I've been to this location probably no less than 10 times, and I've never had problems or issues. I saw that Torchy's Tacos was still open until 10:00 P.M on a Thursday evening, but I wasn't sure if I was going to make it since I left Magic Kingdom around 9:30 P.M. I had arrived around Torchy's Tacos at 9:50 P.M, and it was still open! There was also customers still inside the restaurant and eating at the tables. I had walked inside and asked if they were still taking orders to go and the team member said Yes! Torchy's Tacos has a wide variety of options such as Tacos: Veggie, Chicken, Beef, Pork Bowls: Bonfire Bowl, Outlaw Bowl Salads/Burritos Nachos Chips & Dips and a lot of other options too I ended up ordering the following options, to go Chicken Fajita Taco: Chicken, Onions, Peppers, Pico de Gallo, cheese, and salsa Steak Fajita Taco: Steak, onions, peppers, Pico de Gallo, cheese, salsa. Tots with Queso and Bacon While I waited for my order, I did get a Soda, Sprite, while waiting and watched some TV that was playing above the bar stool seating area. The meal was cooked fresh and I waited about 15 minutes for the order. I ended up eating my Tacos at the hotel. It was good, but I think it would have been better at the restaurant. Both tacos were flavorful. The chicken fajitas was my favorite. The chicken was tender and scrumptious. The onions and peppers were my favorite part! The beef was good, but I did get some chewy pieces. The Tots with Queso and Bacon was interesting. The Queso cheese sauce was not too thick and so you could dip the tots into the Queso container. Service was great and food was good. This was my first time trying out a Torchy's Tacos before. This restaurant is not located in Las Vegas! I'm glad I had a chance to try out there food while visiting Orlando for a conference!

I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to learn about tequila and find out what tequila tastes best for you so you don't need to ask bartenders for their recommendations any more. Reason why I did not give 5 stars: At the end of the presentation there was no time to enjoy the rest of the tequila we had left in our glasses. Also, they took the chips and guacamole before we finished them as they did not ask us if we were done. For $180 per person I thought we would have additional food or tequila to taste. The whole experience included 6 tequila tasting and a vodka palette cleanser to start the whole experience. So for two people it was $360 for each 6 tequila tastings and a shared guac and chips. My husband enjoyed the educational piece but mentioned he would have enjoyed less talking and more time for him and I to enjoy the tequila with more food and tequila.
