Max's Restaurant has always felt like a place for celebration. Call me sentimental, but maybe those ads that they put up just really get to me.
Now, Max's is only a 5 minute walk from my house which is good because I often crave for it. But lazy me usually just orders in for delivery.
Best part about Max's is that they have these combo meals that fits right in my budget and fits perfectly in my stomach. Whenever we have no one to cook lunch or dinner, or whenever we're lazy to cook lunch or dinner or to eat out, we have Max's delivered right at our doorstep.
I guess aside from the nostalgia, there's something different about the taste of Max's spring chicken. Plus add in some ketchup mixed with Worcestershire sauce and voila! The perfect combination!
What I miss about Max's that they don't have anymore is the eat all you can chicken for around 300 pesos! I would try that out at least once every year whenever they had the promo. I hope that they have it again one of these days. read more
