His partner said he would have taken but the driver has final say. I think the SA driver didn't want to lift heavy furniture that day. Thankfully we have a trailer and in a few trips took the furniture to a local thrift who was happy to have it. Said best quality and condition they had seen in a while. The SA driver did scoop up the easy to carry bags of expensive clothing. Silly me I envisioned those clothes helping women getting back on her feet with SA help, something nice to wear for a job interview. Or a nice coat and Sorel boots for the winter. I remember when Salvation Army was about helping people get back on their feet. Now it feels like a for profit. Or employs the power hungry driver who will put you in a lurch because he didn't feel like working that day.

About a year ago I traded in an older gold bracelet after he's insistence the trade for a new one made great sense. I decided to purchase a new one with a different style clasp. When I expressed some concern that it looked flimsy he said "Don't worry if anything goes wrong with it we will repair if it's breaks" so I agreed. Well less than a month later I had to take it back for repair. When I asked him about the warming of the white gold he suggested I have it rhodium plated again. So after being charged 70 dollars for the platting and "repair" the clasp fell come rely apart within 60 days. Now they want $350 dollars to change the clasp and use some of the gold from the bracket. When I asked why cant it be fixed he said it just can't be done. When I asked why it was sold with a defective clasp he got all surly and nasty and stated the same things as mike such as " We're done here" and walked away like some kind of tough guy. Instead, my only options were to exchange the item or receive a gift card. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything else in the store that I liked, and the other items were significantly more expensive than my original purchase. As an out-of-town visitor, a gift card was useless to me, which the sales associate was aware of. This situation was handled poorly--when a product breaks right away, I should have been given a refund. Will not return.
