Max Muscle downtown Long Beach on Pine Ave is by far the best Sports Nutrition store that I've been to anywhere in SoCal. There is plenty of parking at the rear of the store and if you're just making a quick pit stop, you can usually park on Pine Ave in front of the store, between the 2 lanes. in the center Island. No one will bother you. Just don't abuse of it please. This is my second time in this store. I really liked their product on my first visit. So, i decided to come back for more and thus give them a fair review of my full experience. Their services range from Sports Nutrition to tanning to cryotherapy. They have a smoothie bar, sports drinks, a wide variety of protein bars and even workout gloves, belts and much more... The store is always fully stocked with everything and anything you might need for your nutrition and or workout needs. Great product variety to suit everyone's preference. The interior with it's concrete polished floor, tall and robust metal racks gives it a distinct industrial feel conducive to something of a power house. Yet the fully stocked shelves and beautifully arranged marchandise makes the space feel warm and inviting. Hasuni, the owner has been in in business for about 30 years now. He was a body builder himself and is an overall fitness lover. He is an expert in his field and is super friendly. I Went in to purchase some pre-workout products as well as some protein and i ended up grabbing a few other things. The service was excellent. I ended up hanging out for a little while longer chit chatting with him and watching his interaction with his customers. He really treats everyone like family. He is also a big time English Premier league fan, as i am. :) The prices are very competitive and i feel that the products are very unique and very good quality. Much better than GNC or other over commercialized nutrition stores. Shout out to Hasuni for the great service and for making it easy to pick my products. I'll be back soon! I highly recommend Max Muscle downtown long Beach for all your fitness, sports nutrition related needs and everything in between. read more

Max Muscle Nutrition - Health Markets Near Me - Long Beach, California

I can't say enough good things about Max Muscle Nutrition on Pine Avenue. I've been coming here consistently for the last two years, and it's hands-down one of the best small businesses in the area. The owner Hasuni is incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about what he does. Every time I have a question about supplements or protein, he takes the time to explain things in a way that actually makes sense. No pressure, no upselling, just honest guidance tailored to what I need. I've also noticed that he is like that with everyone that comes in, a super genuine guy! On top of that, they have a smoothie bar, and every smoothie is packed with protein and tastes amazing. These are not chalky, bland "health" shakes. They're legit delicious and feel like a treat while still supporting your goals. Pricing is another huge win. The prices here are very competitive, often better than Amazon and other big stores, and you get expert advice included for free. That alone makes it worth shopping local. He also has tanning beds& red light therapy that are the most affordable in LB! If you're into fitness, nutrition, or just want quality products from people who actually know their stuff, this place is a must. Support local, grab a protein smoothie, you won't regret it. read more

Sitting outside as I type this & happily sipping my post-workout peanut butter protein shake. (option for vanilla or chocolate) I was greeted by the friendly Hasuni as it is my first time at this establishment (found on Yelp) and I'll be back again after my next workout to try a different shake. My gym (24 hour) is down the street so it's actually the perfect little walk. Might I add- I walked out with not one, not two, but EIGHT free supplement samples from the attentive Hasuni who answered all my annoying first timer questions about what they offer, etc. I did not opt in for any vitamins or tanning today, but they have that too! Now back to enjoy the rest of my yummy shake...See ya! read more

Quite possibly the greatest place on all of Pine! Russ is a family owned business that actually cares about YOU and what your body needs, not some corporation just trying to take your money.
