Good family business. Honest and upfront. I have gone through manufacture dealerships before, this…read moreis my first time going through a used dealership. Edgar and Alicia made trading in my car for a truck the easiest car buying experience I've had. No games, headaches, or random add ons. We both negotiated to what would benefit both parties, and they matched other dealership prices for the trade in. They allowed the truck to be taken to my mechanic for a detailed and lengthy pre-sale vehicle inspection. The truck was cleaned and detailed, but not in perfect condition (as expected for a vehicle with high miles)... but after doing my homework and speaking to my mechanic, the parts that were missing/needed repair were very minor things and cosmetic. The engine, frame, transmission, and guts of the truck were in great condition, which is what I prioritized. Overall, I am happy with my truck from PM. They are on top of it with customer service and negotiating. I am thankful they let me do as much thorough inspecting for the truck and let me make a decision without pressuring me. They do have repeating customers, and I will be checking their inventory again after I hit the maximum miles on this truck!

They couldn't reverse our debit card receipt and will be cutting us a check tomorrow at noon (08-12-25). I will revise my review and update the star rating when we get the check and it clears when deposited into our bank account. We had an excellent experience with David at Regency Auto Sales in Wilmington. Our purchase of my husband's car went very smoothly, and we were offered a Contract Cancellation Option Agreement, which is something we were aware all dealerships are required to offer. If after you purchase the car and have it inspected by your personal mechanic, if there's something wrong with the car, you have 48 hours to return the car and cancel the purchase. This company has an A+ rating by the better business bureau. I would highly recommend this company for your used car purchases. Don't let appearance of the lot fool you.

Worst experience. I should have listened to the reviews…read more I was texting with German about a 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS 550 and had confirmed with him that I could take the vehicle to a mechanic of my choice for a pre-purchase inspection (PPI) before purchasing it. I made an appointment with my mechanic and traveled all the way from San Francisco to the dealership. When I arrived, I waited over 30 minutes without hearing from him. He eventually messaged me saying that they had started the CLS 550 and it was smoking, and that they were sending it to their mechanic. Since I had traveled all the way from San Francisco, I decided to give them another chance and look at a different vehicle -- a 2019 E-Class that was also at the dealership. German worked up the contract and I was ready to purchase the car, but only after having an independent mechanic inspect it. He called his boss, and they then changed their position and said I could not take the vehicle to my mechanic. I was told the reason was that "we had a bad experience with them." If they had told me beforehand that I would not be allowed to have the vehicle inspected by the mechanic of my choice, I would have never made the trip from San Francisco or scheduled an appointment with my mechanic. I was ready to buy the car. I wasn't asking them to pay for the inspection or anything unreasonable -- I simply wanted an independent PPI before handing over my money. Complete waste of my time and money. If you're buying a used car, I strongly recommend getting an independent inspection before purchasing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership.

Three months later, a couple of weeks ago, the engine light comes on. I contact Jose and he tells me to call the warranty company. I call the warranty company and they say take it to the dealer to do a diagnostic check and start a claim. I let Jose know but he tells me to call his brother Leo, who also was there when I bought the car. Leo keeps telling me to take it to any mechanic and they can start a claim. I take it to one mechanic, he said he's dealt with Protective and doesn't want to deal with them and didn't think any other mechanic would either. He told me go to the dealer that sold you the car, he hasn't even looked at my car, just refused. I took it to another mechanic to get a diagnosis check to see if the issue is even covered because I needed my car fixed and was going to just do it myself. When the mechanic checked it, he said the boot was taped instead of replaced. He said that is very dangerous, he could not believe they sold a car like that. He said the part is only $80 and a quick fix but he told me go back to the dealer, he needs to fix this for free because he should've never sold the car like that, it should've been repaired first. At this point, Jose and Leo do not respond to my texts or call. I contacted the warranty company but they're saying they can't get involved in issues between the dealer and buyer. These guys are not honest and will tell you whatever you want to hear to make sure you buy a car. I do not recommend buying from them.
