This bridal shop has the sweetest staff. The try on area is beautiful, and I loved the personalized signage with my name and wedding date. My consultant Skylar was an absolute gem. She was patient, kind, and attentive throughout the appointment. She listened to my mom, grandma, and me, and pulled dresses that reflected all of our preferences. I am so disappointed in the way this bridal salon conducts business and would suggest other brides shop else where. I said yes to a dress and paid in full and wasn't able to pick it up due to multiple hospitalizations and illness, because of this my wedding was postponed. These was explained to Brianna, who initially said that my dress was donated and there was nothing they could do. After many persistent phone calls they miraculously found the dress I purchased in the size purchased and told me I COULD PURCHASE MY DRESS FOR AN ADDITIONAL $1000. I was told multiple times that the manager would call me back to discuss, and this has been going on for months now. The dishonesty as well as the complete lack of integrity and empathy would steer me or any one I know from purchasing anything from them. I am now 6 weeks away from my wedding and have to find a dress. Shame on you Max Bridal. read more

Hi! Just got married this past October and I am so beyond happy with my experience at Max Bridal. From finding my dream dress with Andrea to having the alterations done by the insanely talented Maya. I am still completely blown away and forever grateful for everything they have done for me. All the staff are so kind and welcoming! Fantastic experience at Max Bridal. My consultant, Mikayla, was super attentive and a pleasure to work with. Max Bridal assigned her to me as my consultant, and she was with me throughout the appointment. Just an FYI for brides, your consultant (unless you request not to have this done, I presume) is with you inside the dressing area to open up the dress for you to step into and then zip you up and clip the dress to fit you. But she was very respectful and it definitely felt like a judgment-free zone! They have a lovely selection of dresses. Mikayla did tell me that they carry ivory dresses and not white, which she said is a pain to work with because white dresses may appear blue in photographs (I learned from her that some photographers may actually charge extra for working with white dresses). Honestly some of the dresses looked more ivory than others, so you can probably still get a whitish dress if that's what you are looking for. Since most of the dresses are from China, there is essentially a hold on dresses coming in during the month of February due to the Chinese New Year. Just something to keep in mind, per my consultant. The champagne glasses seen in my pic are to celebrate brides who have "said yes to the dress" at Max Bridal. Really sweet. I had such a great experience at Max Bridal! My wedding planner, Adina from A Perfect Day, recommended making an appointment with Max Bridal. I made an appointment about a week before for Sunday at 4:45 which was the latest appointment available that day. I also added myself to the waitlist the weekend before and they did call me for open availability which is great - the waitlist works! You call in from the parking lot when you arrive and they will let you know when you can come in. My consultant's name was Kat and she was a DREAM throughout the appointment. My mom and I were brought back to a room where there was a dressing room part and also a couch for my mom to sit on which I thought was so personable and private which I loved. The ambiance of the place was great too. I spoke to Kat, at length, about what I kinda thought I would see myself in. She was super open about ideas and listened to my feedback throughout my appointment. She was also super personable as well and I felt like we just connected. She would bring out different dress and if I didn't like it she would just wisk it away and she would keep pulling dresses. Julie, another consultant, would pop in and see what I was trying on and give feedback as well. Honestly, it was such an enjoyable experience and they have such beautiful dresses. Unfortunately, I found my dress elsewhere but I HIGHLY recommend Max Bridal. They do great with social distancing and have great people working there. I felt safe with the COVID precautions and they also offer another way to shop and book the store to yourself! If I could give them no stars I would. A gown was purchased from them but unfortunately due to serious medical issues the wedding was postponed. Contacted the store to see about getting the gown. Informed that it was considered abandoned and was donated. They reached out to the bride and receiving no response gave the gown away. How can you do that without actually speaking to the bride? How many brides abandon their gowns? Spoke many times to Brianna, a manager, asking for some understanding and maybe compassion. She stated there was nothing she could do the gown was gone. Miracle of miracles! They found another abandoned gown the exact one and size and would sell it to us for $1000.00. How about that. What a coincidence! Since the gown was paid for and they were going to just give it away why not give it to us? No money lost on their part. If they charged a reasonable storage fee that would be okay. They weren't even willing to do that. Brianna was going to contact her boss to see what could be done but haven't heard back. I called them once again and was ghosted. Immediately called on a different line and surprise Surprise Brianna picked up. Still waiting to hear from her boss. No surprise there. Buyer beware. If you're wedding dress shopping, look no further than Max Bridal! The service, ambiance & selection are unmatched. I went to several bridal salons both on Long Island & in Manhattan to try on dresses since some carry different designers. By far, Max Bridal provides the most personalized, calm, pressure-free environment. I ended up going in for two full appointments on separate days so that I could try on a bigger selection of dresses as initially I wasn't sure what I wanted. I loved that they have a really great Pinterest page with many of the dresses available to try on, so while you don't get to look through the racks during your appointment, you have a chance to see many dresses on your phone at home prior to going. During your appointment, you have your own private dressing room & a space for family/friends to sit with a little welcome sign with your name which was a very cute, special touch. What I loved is that compared to almost everywhere else I went, you do not see or hear other brides trying on dresses. During my two appointments, I worked with Mikayla & Julie who were so kind, patient, professional, took the time to understand what I liked/didn't like about each dress, & helped teach me about the different fabrics & what could be done in alterations to make each dress exactly what I wanted. Max Bridal offers the fairest prices & a reasonable flat fee for alterations compared to other salons in the area & especially in the city. They also do not pressure you that you need to order your dress that day (like most of the other salons did) & are honest about how long it will actually take to get your dress. I had the absolute best experience at Max Bridal with stylist Julie! Upon making my appointment, I was asked to look through the shop's Pinterest page and send back pictures of dresses I liked. When I arrived, I was escorted to my own suite with my name and wedding date on a board and the four dresses I sent from their Pinterest page already pulled and waiting for me to try on. Julie was beyond kind and considerate, while working with our budget and listening to exactly what I wanted. At the end, I was stuck between two very similar dresses by the same designer, and Julie helped prompt and guide me by asking questions and putting me in and out of the dresses until I came to a decision. When you walk in you are immediately greeted by all of the wonderful consultants . They take you to your own intimate dressing room with the dresses you already wanted to see and some they think you might like with a beautiful mirror to stand in front! They will let you go pass your appt time and will let you try on the same dress 10 million times if you wanted it too. It's located in a nice strip with a parking lot. I came to Max Bridal back in March, and while I did not end up getting my dress there, I had the best experience! I love how each private area has a theme, and how they put your name and wedding date in the room with props for the guests, super cute! Also Mikayla immediately made me feel so comfortable, and I love how she clipped me in so I could really get an idea of how the dress would look on me when it's fitted. Some places just use one clip but here they used a band to hold your chest in along with clips in the back which truly made all the difference in helping me feel confident in the dresses I put on! Seon at Max Bridal was amazing she help see my vision through and i was able to see myself as a bride! She was keeping in mind my budget..and certain styles that i preferred... There was one dress she started to pull and didnt pull it out until before the end of the appointment my sister said what about this... Now my sister has gone to a couple other bridal appointments with me so she kinda knew what i was envisioning. What i liked about the whole bride try on. You pretty much feel like only bride in the salon. While trying on the dress my cousin recommend i bring spanx with me and smart move because the dresses have something for them To tuck into or clip the dress to. Before Seon had me in my first dress she had laid it out ontop of this platform. This made it much Easier! Once i added a few other accessories to the dress it really gave my mini entourage was shocked. Their faces said it all! It wasnt until Seon told me to walk around the store without the bright lights on me to see how approaching the mirror i looked and that is when i saw it Here they do let you take photos i think that really helped because seeing yourself in the mirror isnt the same. After going to a few other places i knew this dress topped them all. I decided to say yes and Seon told me that if you purchase the dress the same day you save 10%off it and whatever else you purchase.
