I see why this bridal store is so highly rated! I really did not know where to start and how lucky was I that this was my first store?! Everything they did was so seamless. They ask you to look on their Pinterest so they can pre-pick out dresses you like for your appointment. Then you try on your dresses and can I just say what a wonderful range of dresses they had?! So many dresses but they made sure to keep my shopping within my budget. I even ended up paying below what I originally planned for! Everything was super clean and personalized, you can tell they take pride in their work. So happy I found the one here!! read more

This bridal shop has the sweetest staff. The try on area is beautiful, and I loved the personalized signage with my name and wedding date. My consultant Skylar was an absolute gem. She was patient, kind, and attentive throughout the appointment. She listened to my mom, grandma, and me, and pulled dresses that reflected all of our preferences. The dress prices range from about 1.5 to 5k, and they have a great variety of styles. My mom and I will recommend this place to everyone. We were so so happy. read more

I am so disappointed in the way this bridal salon conducts business and would suggest other brides shop else where. I said yes to a dress and paid in full and wasn't able to pick it up due to multiple hospitalizations and illness, because of this my wedding was postponed. These was explained to Brianna, who initially said that my dress was donated and there was nothing they could do. After many persistent phone calls they miraculously found the dress I purchased in the size purchased and told me I COULD PURCHASE MY DRESS FOR AN ADDITIONAL $1000. I was told multiple times that the manager would call me back to discuss, and this has been going on for months now. The dishonesty as well as the complete lack of integrity and empathy would steer me or any one I know from purchasing anything from them. I am now 6 weeks away from my wedding and have to find a dress. Shame on you Max Bridal. read more

By far the best bridal shop we went to! Clean the vibe is so calming, not overwhelming whatsoever and the young woman there cannot be more kind! They are extremely helpful and real Leila The manager worked with us. We were so fortunate to meet her. We said yes to the dress today and it was such a pleasurable happy experience for my daughter and I. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone we know! read more

Had a great time dress shopping with family at Max Bridal today. Jaden was super helpful and patient. I was still figuring out what I wanted in a dress and she made great selections and helped me narrow down the style, material, and vibe I wanted. I left feeling excited! No dress purchased yet, but I might be back! read more

I had such a great experience at Max Bridal! My wedding planner, Adina from A Perfect Day, recommended making an appointment with Max Bridal. I made an appointment about a week before for Sunday at 4:45 which was the latest appointment available that day. I also added myself to the waitlist the weekend before and they did call me for open availability which is great - the waitlist works! You call in from the parking lot when you arrive and they will let you know when you can come in. My consultant's name was Kat and she was a DREAM throughout the appointment. My mom and I were brought back to a room where there was a dressing room part and also a couch for my mom to sit on which I thought was so personable and private which I loved. The ambiance of the place was great too. I spoke to Kat, at length, about what I kinda thought I would see myself in. She was super open about ideas and listened to my feedback throughout my appointment. She was also super personable as well and I felt like we just connected. She would bring out different dress and if I didn't like it she would just wisk it away and she would keep pulling dresses. Julie, another consultant, would pop in and see what I was trying on and give feedback as well. Honestly, it was such an enjoyable experience and they have such beautiful dresses. Unfortunately, I found my dress elsewhere but I HIGHLY recommend Max Bridal. They do great with social distancing and have great people working there. I felt safe with the COVID precautions and they also offer another way to shop and book the store to yourself! I was going to do that for when I was going back for a second appointment so I definitely recommend checking this place out!! read more

Fantastic experience at Max Bridal. My consultant, Mikayla, was super attentive and a pleasure to work with. Max Bridal assigned her to me as my consultant, and she was with me throughout the appointment. Just an FYI for brides, your consultant (unless you request not to have this done, I presume) is with you inside the dressing area to open up the dress for you to step into and then zip you up and clip the dress to fit you. But she was very respectful and it definitely felt like a judgment-free zone! They have a lovely selection of dresses. Mikayla did tell me that they carry ivory dresses and not white, which she said is a pain to work with because white dresses may appear blue in photographs (I learned from her that some photographers may actually charge extra for working with white dresses). Honestly some of the dresses looked more ivory than others, so you can probably still get a whitish dress if that's what you are looking for. Since most of the dresses are from China, there is essentially a hold on dresses coming in during the month of February due to the Chinese New Year. Just something to keep in mind, per my consultant. The champagne glasses seen in my pic are to celebrate brides who have "said yes to the dress" at Max Bridal. Really sweet. I'm going to give myself some more time before I make a final decision, but I wanted to say I had a lovely experience at Max Bridal. read more

Hi! Just got married this past October and I am so beyond happy with my experience at Max Bridal. From finding my dream dress with Andrea to having the alterations done by the insanely talented Maya. I am still completely blown away and forever grateful for everything they have done for me. All the staff are so kind and welcoming! The space is so beautiful and bridal, it makes you giddy with excitement. I traveled two hours there and back and it was WELL WORTH IT. Every visit was so special. And I have to say that Maya who does the alterations is the most talented, kind woman! She made the dress really mine. I wish I could do it all over again. It was a dream. Love you max bridal team! read more

To be honest, when I was looking at bridal boutiques, I wasn't looking for anywhere on the island. I'm a city girl so I had browsed everywhere in NYC and even Jersey. But when I came across a dress that I was interested in, I stumbled upon Max Bridal's website. Since it was across the street from my gym, I figured, heck, why not - not like I have nothing to lose anyway. I have to say, hands down, the staff is super accommodating & amazing! Kat had helped me out picking out dresses & she chose one that I ABSOLUTELY fell in love with (thank you so much!). Plus, the prices are fair, including alterations (one set fee - that's it?!). If you're a bride looking for a dress, I'd HIGHLY recommend making an appointment to check out their selection. read more

If I could give them no stars I would. A gown was purchased from them but unfortunately due to serious medical issues the wedding was postponed. Contacted the store to see about getting the gown. Informed that it was considered abandoned and was donated. They reached out to the bride and receiving no response gave the gown away. How can you do that without actually speaking to the bride? How many brides abandon their gowns? Spoke many times to Brianna, a manager, asking for some understanding and maybe compassion. She stated there was nothing she could do the gown was gone. Miracle of miracles! They found another abandoned gown the exact one and size and would sell it to us for $1000.00. How about that. What a coincidence! Since the gown was paid for and they were going to just give it away why not give it to us? No money lost on their part. If they charged a reasonable storage fee that would be okay. They weren't even willing to do that. Brianna was going to contact her boss to see what could be done but haven't heard back. I called them once again and was ghosted. Immediately called on a different line and surprise Surprise Brianna picked up. Still waiting to hear from her boss. No surprise there. Buyer beware. Stay away from Max Bridal in Syosset or Queens NY. read more

Would not recco this place- you cannot look at the dresses you tell them what you like and they bring them. Was not a fun experience.

BEWARE!!! This place will charge you non- refundable booking fees without telling you first. Their managers will NOT work with you. They also pressured me to buy my dress and did not give me time to think about. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I am not a person to take time to write reviews, but I felt I had to warn everyone out there. read more

Very pushy, was charged a non-refundable booking fee I was never aware of. Very disappointing experience. Would not recommend.

I had the absolute best experience at Max Bridal with stylist Julie! Upon making my appointment, I was asked to look through the shop's Pinterest page and send back pictures of dresses I liked. When I arrived, I was escorted to my own suite with my name and wedding date on a board and the four dresses I sent from their Pinterest page already pulled and waiting for me to try on. Julie was beyond kind and considerate, while working with our budget and listening to exactly what I wanted. At the end, I was stuck between two very similar dresses by the same designer, and Julie helped prompt and guide me by asking questions and putting me in and out of the dresses until I came to a decision. After I said yes to the dress, my mother and I were given champagne and were able to take pictures in their lobby that is super cute. I cannot be more excited, and I cannot wait for my dress to come in! read more

I have been to COUNTLESS Bridal Shops and boutiques to try to find my wedding dress. Max Bridal was by far the best and I had an INCREDIBLE experience. Working with Emily made this journey so enjoyable. She was patient, kind, and SO accommodating!!! She truly listened to my preferences which ultimately led me to finding my dream dress! The quality of dresses is just so beyond. They actually have styles that brides want and love (and within reasonable prices!) The atmosphere of the shop is just a dream!! read more

My cousin is getting married and had a terrible experience here; she's looking for the dress of her dreams, called to make an appointment, and went to the appt. She was NEVER told about a booking fee... and then they charged her a booking fee. She was also fully pressured into buying a dress that she wasn't set on. So sales-y, not personalized. Wouldn't recommend, won't be going here when I get married. read more

When you walk in you are immediately greeted by all of the wonderful consultants . They take you to your own intimate dressing room with the dresses you already wanted to see and some they think you might like with a beautiful mirror to stand in front! They will let you go pass your appt time and will let you try on the same dress 10 million times if you wanted it too. It's located in a nice strip with a parking lot. You are shown as many dresses as you want and they work with your budget . One of the best bridal places I have been too . Thank you to my consultant Julie and all the wonderful ladies there ! read more

If you're wedding dress shopping, look no further than Max Bridal! The service, ambiance & selection are unmatched. I went to several bridal salons both on Long Island & in Manhattan to try on dresses since some carry different designers. By far, Max Bridal provides the most personalized, calm, pressure-free environment. I ended up going in for two full appointments on separate days so that I could try on a bigger selection of dresses as initially I wasn't sure what I wanted. I loved that they have a really great Pinterest page with many of the dresses available to try on, so while you don't get to look through the racks during your appointment, you have a chance to see many dresses on your phone at home prior to going. During your appointment, you have your own private dressing room & a space for family/friends to sit with a little welcome sign with your name which was a very cute, special touch. What I loved is that compared to almost everywhere else I went, you do not see or hear other brides trying on dresses. During my two appointments, I worked with Mikayla & Julie who were so kind, patient, professional, took the time to understand what I liked/didn't like about each dress, & helped teach me about the different fabrics & what could be done in alterations to make each dress exactly what I wanted. Max Bridal offers the fairest prices & a reasonable flat fee for alterations compared to other salons in the area & especially in the city. They also do not pressure you that you need to order your dress that day (like most of the other salons did) & are honest about how long it will actually take to get your dress. Such an amazing experience overall - I am so excited to go back for my alterations! read more

I came to Max Bridal back in March, and while I did not end up getting my dress there, I had the best experience! I love how each private area has a theme, and how they put your name and wedding date in the room with props for the guests, super cute! Also Mikayla immediately made me feel so comfortable, and I love how she clipped me in so I could really get an idea of how the dress would look on me when it's fitted. Some places just use one clip but here they used a band to hold your chest in along with clips in the back which truly made all the difference in helping me feel confident in the dresses I put on! I cannot recommend this place enough... beautiful vibes and amazing staff! read more

I could not have had a better experience at Max Bridal!!! Mikayla was SO sweet, patient, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. The minute you walk in, you feel like you're going to be in good hands. From the private rooms, to the sign that has your name/wedding date, to the little tote bag gift & champagne they give when you've said "yes!" The small details really do add up! This is long overdue, but run don't walk to this salon. I was so nervous to try on dresses and had literally no idea what I wanted. From the moment I walked in I felt so comfortable. Emily was my attendant and she is the absolute best!! She was so warm and welcoming and made my guests feel so included. She pulled dresses of all different kinds, never going above my budget. Anytime I commented on what I liked or didn't like in a dress and she brought back even better dresses the next selection. She is so sweet and made me feel so taken care of and genuinely cared. I ended up buying my dress from here the first day of trying on dresses and could not have had a better experience! Thank you Emily for being the best!! The salon itself is cute and clean. Our dress trying on area was also private with just myself and my guests which made the whole experience more intimate and comfortable. It was so nice to have privacy compared to other salons where there's 3 other brides trying on dresses right next to you. I can't wait to pick my dress up !!! read more

After going to multiple Bridal boutiques this is the first one that made me feel truly special. After trying on multiple dressers and eventually finding the one, I couldn't make a decision without my father present. Also had alterations done through here that were top notch! read more

Max bridal is the best bridal boutique around! From my very first experience trying on dresses back in 2019, my consultant, Sam was amazing! It was the first place I went and then I decided to look a few more places. Ultimately I wound up back at Max Bridal to try on the top dresses I liked a lot and fell in love with my dress and said YES! My experience has always been seamless, the entire staff is sweet and really genuine. I am now finishing up my alterations appointments and Ines is my seamstress, she is amazing and does quality work. She knows exactly what is going to look good and what alteration changes need to be made. If you have her you are in extremely good hands. read more

Seon at Max Bridal was amazing she help see my vision through and i was able to see myself as a bride! She was keeping in mind my budget..and certain styles that i preferred... There was one dress she started to pull and didnt pull it out until before the end of the appointment my sister said what about this... Now my sister has gone to a couple other bridal appointments with me so she kinda knew what i was envisioning. What i liked about the whole bride try on. You pretty much feel like only bride in the salon. While trying on the dress my cousin recommend i bring spanx with me and smart move because the dresses have something for them To tuck into or clip the dress to. Before Seon had me in my first dress she had laid it out ontop of this platform. This made it much Easier! Once i added a few other accessories to the dress it really gave my mini entourage was shocked. Their faces said it all! It wasnt until Seon told me to walk around the store without the bright lights on me to see how approaching the mirror i looked and that is when i saw it Here they do let you take photos i think that really helped because seeing yourself in the mirror isnt the same. After going to a few other places i knew this dress topped them all. I decided to say yes and Seon told me that if you purchase the dress the same day you save 10%off it and whatever else you purchase. My bridesmaids also get 10% if they choose to get their dresses here. Cant wait to have it come in. Another item off the wedding checklist! read more

Max Bridal was the best place! I worked with Julie, she was so lovely. She really took time to understand what I was looking for and then also offered suggestions of dresses she thought would work for me. Her last pick ended up being my dress! Everyone who worked there was not pushy at all and I needed a dress rather quickly due to a short engagement and they did not make it a big deal to get me a dress in my specific time frame, only showed me dresses they knew would get here in time. Would definitely recommend looking for a wedding dress here! read more

I have never left a negative review for any business. This is a local business that I generally like to support but-Be Warned- do not sign anything until you are 100% sure you want the dress! They will keep all your money even if the order was made on a Sunday and was never received by the manufacturer. And even if you canceled immediately! Since they are very limited in what they carry-a credit for your money doesn't help at all. Beware! read more

Doesn't carry average sizes for American women. This shop sells the Allure brand wedding gowns, so I called them to find out if they had a specific style I wanted to try on, only to be told that they don't carry ANYTHING over a size 12! (And by the way, a size 12 is actually a size 10 in street clothes.) Shameful! EVERYONE deserves to feel beautiful on their wedding day, and size 12 isn't even that big! By not carrying anything larger than a 12, you eliminate and alienate a significant portion of the adult population. What a pity. I'll spend my thousands of dollars elsewhere. read more
