In fact, when one of our party was having stomach issues-at no fault of the restaurant- they took her meal off the bill. I thought that was very kind of them. The food was also great! An employee came to my aid and did the transaction at the (abandoned) register, so that was good, attentive service. To my surprise, the Big Mac came out picture perfect. My recollection of getting a Big Mac at McDonald's was that the lettuce looked like it exploded, the patty and buns were skeewampus--just a mess. This one was actually perfect. So...large is now "medium." The size of the fries and drink were what used to be the large size some years ago. Quality of the food is the same. The fries still give a weird after taste when you eat a fry and then take a drink of pop. This happened years ago when they abandoned using lard because of the falsehood that it was bad for you and switched to a worse yet alternative of a vegetable oil. McD's fries used to be the best on the planet. Used to be. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience.
