A lot of places buy their coffee for their restaurants and you can buy it here in containers or even large bags. They have it laid out when you walk in and there's a fresh coffee smell! GREAT! Located downtown near Tioga Sequoia. Which is just a block away. I went online before I left and placed an order and it was ready within 40 minutes or so. I don't believe they grind them for you there as I did not ask so my beans were whole beans, but they also sell a fancy grinder a bag cups, another swag there. There's parking on the street with no meters with a two hour parking limit. It might be hard if you are in a wheelchair, but if you go around to a driveway, you can roll up in.

It's also connected to a church, so it definitely leans into that community-centered atmosphere. Unfortunately, after going back 3-4 times hoping my experience would improve, the coffee has been consistently disappointing. It tastes burnt and weak at the same time like warm water with sugar. There barely seems to be any real espresso in the drinks. On more than one occasion, I've taken several sips hoping it would get better... and ended up throwing the whole drink away because it was just that bad. That's honestly frustrating, especially when you're paying for specialty coffee. The only drink I've actually enjoyed there is the pumpkin spice latte, that one was solid.

However, my friend had never been here before and ordered a cubano which she didn't realize was so small. She couldn't believe how small the cup was and it was way too sweet. Unfortunately, when we went back up to the counter to try and exchange it for something else we feel we didn't get the best service. They eventually gave my friend some milk foam to mix it with to tone it down, but she was overall unhappy with her experience. I know the menu probably described what she was ordering but since it was her first time there, she was a little overwhelmed with the menu and could have used some guidance. Also my other friend asked about getting a certain coffee and felt talked down to from the woman at the register like she was an idiot. She says it is not the first time this woman has been rude, as she has been here before and had the same rude service. It is too bad, because overall this place has good coffee and a cute ambience in the back patio, but with the consistently poor service we won't be back.

He seemed irritated from the moment I ordered a hot chocolate for my son, correcting me in a rude and dismissive tone that it was "hot cocoa" and annoyedly asking how many I wanted. I said one and then asked if they had a menu so I could see what type of coffee they offered. That simple question also seemed to frustrate him and he dismissively responded, "It's just coffee," while shaking his head. His overall tone came across as arrogant, annoyed, and dismissive over normal questions, which made the interaction uncomfortable. I was shocked by the attitude, especially from a business owner. Maybe he was having a bad day, and I do see many positive reviews, but I also noticed other reviews mentioning similar experiences with the owner. It's disappointing because we were really looking forward to trying this place. I ended up saying never mind and leaving. My son didn't understand why we walked out without getting what we came for and I explained that I didn't want to support a business where customers are treated rudely. I truly hope the owner is doing okay and is able to treat customers more respectfully in the future because it seems like there's a great product behind the business. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to try it.
