We needed a ride from the Broomfield area to DIA and this was our first time using a service like this. Our driver was swerving quite a bit the entire time. Very concerning and scary. He asked for our payment in the middle of the ride while he was driving??? He was using his phone while he was driving and even pulled out the credit card swipe system while he was trying to change lanes!! He was shaking / jittery as if he was nervous or had too much caffeine. Often he didn't use his blinker and there were quite a few times he was smack dab in the middle of the lane. Will never be using this service again. I would not recommend this to anyone. Im sure there are other drivers that display better service, but it's not worth the risk if you might end up with the man that drove us. read more

I'm really perplexed about some of the negative reviews. I had a 5:50 flight (AM!!!) to Mexico (no bueno.) I called them, they called me back promptly and booked my pickup. He called the night before to confirm and arrived 10 minutes early for my O-dark-30 pickup. Nice car, bottle of water. I had a great experience and will use them again. Thanks Yelpers, I found Maverick Car Service today because of all the good reviews. I called this morning and made a 1:00 pickup time to get me to the airport. Troy picked me up right at the requested time in a nice maroon town car. He was well dressed, well spoken, and a good driver. We talked about all my horror stories with the cab companies and it made me realize compared to them, Maverick is about 150 stars better. I will be using this service many more times. People love us on Yelp, my ass. I was staying in Aurora out of town from Omaha, and I called because it said they serve Denver and surrounding areas and I needed a ride somewhere so I could watch the Husker game. After reading all of these 5-star reviews I thought, this place is great! Even on their map it shows that they cover Aurora. He told me that they normally don't come out here or something. Whatever. I guess they aren't as great as everyone says they are. I'm glad they didn't pick me up because I wouldn't call this rude establishment again even if I did use them. Is there any way to give 0 stars? A+ service. This was the first time I used a car service from the airport to/from Longmont CO. Troy was my driver - kind, reliable, trustworthy. Was in CO for personal stressful business and I had called to schedule the airport pickup a day before I think. Text w/ directions on where to meet driver were in my phone as soon as we landed and I turned on my cell. Found Troy easily and we were on our way. When we arrived in Longmont, Troy asked about my return trip which I hadnt even thought of. We planned a pickup time and when the day/time rolled around he was prompt and ready to get me to the airport. Amazing service. I frequently take skyride to the airport, but when that doesn't work out, I'm forced to take a cab. Cabs always over charge and under deliver. Maverick was prompt, polite, and clever navigating a delayed highway. All that and it was cheaper than a cab at $58. read more

Driver texted us that he was on his way and since we were ready he was able to come a little early. Friendly driver, but it was nice that he didn't talk all the way to Denver. I'm not sure if it was the roads or the car, but it was a bit bumpy in the back. Would have been 5 stars except the driver asked me to pass him the cooler of beer off the back seat when we first got in the car. Not sure if he was just joking??? No water or candy provided, which is what we always get with the limo service we use in San Jose, CA. I called Monday morning for a pickup at midnight at the airport. I was wary of any taxis being available that late at night, and it turned out I was right: it was snowing (in the middle of April!) and there was a long line at the taxi stand, but no taxis! Flat fare for a taxi from DIA to downtown is $55.10. Maverick charged me $58. When my plane landed (at 1:15am, mind you, after 10" of snow had fallen), driver C.J. called me to let me know he was here, then texted me the exact location he was waiting at. He drove carefully and smartly through all that unplowed snow and got me to the Grand Hyatt in an hour. He was personable and intelligent and asked a few questions to ensure I was comfortable during the ride. Bottom line: he showed up, after 1am, in a snow storm, to ensure this weary traveler had a ride from DIA to downtown. What more could you ask for? Thank you, C.J. and Maverick Car Service! read more

I used maverick car service to take us to DIA a few weeks ago. They were early to pick up and had bottles of water for us as well. They scheduled a pick up for our return and when we landed in the states I turned my phone on to call them and confirm only to find they had already left me a message confirming our return pick up. When we finally got back home to DIA our bag was left behind but CJ waited patiently in the pick up area while we dealt with the lost baggage people. 5 stars for being on time (early) and getting us to our destination safely... New to Denver thus I hadn't used many car services here. When I needed to be on time at a crucial appointment, I was wary of some of the other car services I found online whose reviews ranged from bad to worse. Thankfully, my husband found Maverick. :D I called and got the voice mail at first and since most reviews here mentioned they answered their calls, unlike other businesses, I tried again. Troy answered and was very helpful in figuring out the pick up time based on my drop off time. On the day of the appointment, I received a call from CJ 30 mins prior to pick up time to confirm the reservation. He arrived on time and was very courteous. The car was luxurious and clean. We arrived at the location well before time, which was good as the place was new to me and we didn't immediately find the office I was supposed to go to. CJ drove around the place until we finally found it. They had no huge sign board, only a small sticker notice on the door. Thank goodness for CJ helping me. It was freezing outside. It would've been unpleasant if I had to walk around trying to look for the place. All in all an awesome experience. Will definitely do business with Maverick again. read more

Once you call Maverick, you'll never take an old taxi again, especially to the airport! We've used Maverick three times now, to and from DIA and Littleton. Even at 5:00 am, the driver, Bob, was exactly on time, as friendly as could be and the kicker is, IT COSTS LESS THAN A CAB!! We made the mistake of taking a taxi back from DIA once; it cost $110 before tip versus $68! If there's a traffic jam, Bob knows how to get around it. The cars are Lincoln Towncars, a sweet ride. We used Maverick for rides from the airport to and from the convention center area. Troy picked us up for both rides. He was very nice and courteous. He was also early for both pickups. Some people on here have commented about them having a non black car, well I found the advantage. At the airport when there is a sea of black cars, finding a driver you don't know in a tan car is much easier than find the correct black car. I love Maverick Car Service. I have used them several times, and will continue to use them when I fly in and out of Denver for work or pleasure. They always answer the phone and are very accommodating. They are always on time to pick you up or early. They send you a text with clear instructions as to where to meet them. They have a limo license, so they always offer a cold water or beer with their service- an extra nice touch especially when you are traveling. You can pay over the phone or with a Credit Card after your service. We always have great conversations about great things to do in the Denver area- they are very knowledgeable about the Denver area. Just got back from an international trip, and boy was it nice to have Troy at the airport to pick us up. I had hired him on the basis of what other Yelpers thought, and they were not wrong. We needed a ride to and from the airport. I'm always nervous about pickups to the airport because they might forget, they might be late...Troy sent me a text letting me know he was on the way, then outside waiting. What a relief! He helped put the bags in the car, was very nice, not super talkative, but friendly. The car itself was clean and a smooth ride. It was very enjoyable. So when he picked us up at the airport, I was very happy because I knew what to expect. He also had drinks for us on the drive home which was especially nice after 17 hours of air travel.
