Never trust Loyal and if you hear that's the company being sent by your emergency roadside service company or insurance company, definitely say no thanks and ask for a different company! Make sure it's a truly local one. Loyal is headquartered in San Diego with locations throughout the state so their system is unreliable. They were very quick and responsive and did not damage my car at all towing it a staggering 5 miles to their beautiful lot near Stockton avenue. I called Monday once they opened (towed Saturday morning despite their office being closed Saturday and Sunday) and was told the storage fee over the weekend almost doubled the towing charge ($290). They were very precise with the cost giving me the exact amount I had to pay, except for the extra $14 for using a credit card but that's my fault since I left $500 in cash in my other pants that day. I only have one issue with management - why not charge more? People rely on their cars; we live in a car centric society. You'll make money hand over fist! The sky's the limit! What's the cheapest used car nowadays? $8k? $9k? You'll have everyone who involuntarily requires your service make sure your exceptional business lives on forever, and then some. And while you're at it, take a day off! I read 4 day work weeks make employees happier, why not close your office on mondays too? That way you can charge customers more in after-hours fees! They were not kind whatsoever and I had to basically beg them to allow me to use tap pay as I had already paid to uber to their location and I didn't have my wallet on me. My bank blocked the payment because their system is sketch so I had to call my bank and ask them to allow the payment - once I did that Rincon staff refused to allow me to tap again!! Waisting more of my time calling the bank pushing me closer to closing time so they could hold my vehicle overnight and charge me more. I got my car back because someone else had to come and provide payment for me. It's 2026- update your system, tap pay should be standard. They certainly did not provide any sort of discount or kindness. Companies like these are predators! Who are you to even hold my property? You're not the parking company! They just want a cut of the money by doing the dirty work. It's a shitty business with shitty people.
