I left my car at a business that was supposedly on top of their parking lot space and I feel so blessed to have Rincon Towing in charge of towing my car before I could get to it. They were very quick and responsive and did not damage my car at all towing it a staggering 5 miles to their beautiful lot near Stockton avenue. I called Monday once they opened (towed Saturday morning despite their office being closed Saturday and Sunday) and was told the storage fee over the weekend almost doubled the towing charge ($290). They were very precise with the cost giving me the exact amount I had to pay, except for the extra $14 for using a credit card but that's my fault since I left $500 in cash in my other pants that day. I only have one issue with management - why not charge more? People rely on their cars; we live in a car centric society. You'll make money hand over fist! The sky's the limit! What's the cheapest used car nowadays? $8k? $9k? You'll have everyone who involuntarily requires your service make sure your exceptional business lives on forever, and then some. And while you're at it, take a day off! I read 4 day work weeks make employees happier, why not close your office on mondays too? That way you can charge customers more in after-hours fees! Vehicle was towed by Rincon Towing. Immediately after the tow, I noticed loose/damaged underbody sealing that was not present prior. I documented the issue and followed their process, including emailing photos and calling multiple times for follow-up. Despite this, I was not provided any documentation (photos/footage) of the vehicle prior to towing, and communication from their supervisor was unprofessional and unhelpful. The vehicle is brand new (~2,500 miles). I also had it inspected by Honda technicians, who indicated the issue appears consistent with something being pulled or disturbed, rather than normal adhesive failure. I attempted to resolve this directly with the company before leaving a review, but was unsuccessful. Called for pricing. Provided pick up address and address for the car to be towed to. They said " We don't have any trucks available today". However, all I need was pricing to see if I Could afford their services. I said I'm not in an emergency. I just need to know what the price is. They say "well you have to call back tomorrow." This company doesn't accept tap pay and I didn't have my wallet on me. I called my bank and got my card info tho and had a picture of it and was prepared to give them all of my card or bank information but they refused to take my info manually. They wanted to keep my car longer so they could charge me more. Having your car towed is already a bad day, but these people really know how to make it worse. read more

I just couldn't afford it BUT this business is a breath of fresh air. I had my Nissan towed in May because of my negligence. Every time I called I was treated with kindness and respect. Their rates to me make sense, I just had so many obstacles in my life I had to make the decision to let my car go and suffer the loss. This is a very honest company I know because when allowed to obtain my belongings EVERYTHING including my cash on hand was still in view inside the vehicle. I will eventually pay off the fee that they c charge to dispose but just needed to state they are fair & honest regardless of the people who have said in their reviews negative things. I have never dealt with such a rude dispatcher, who refuses to give her name. Any business knows that the person that answers your telephone is the face of the company. She is a poor representation. She lacked professionalism, kindness and most importantly compassion. Our Silverado Pick Up was towed from GIO apartments even though we are on the lease visiting a family member. We tried to get our truck during the first hour of being towed and we were told we are unable to get it til tomorrow morning. We live out of town with no vehicle to get home. The dispatcher who we spoke to refused to give her name 3 times and hung up on us 3 times. She made it clear she had no interest or concern with our situation. Upon talking to Sean, Rincon's Manger, he too had no concern with our situation. I understand you may have procedures but the problem is there needs to be a human element. It's called COMPASSION!!! I am sure if "dispatcher" as she likes to call herself or Sean would have been in our situation, they would have appreciated a kinder tone and a more understanding individual, who may have found the compassion to be able to return the vehicle so that they could have gone home. I would highly recommend to stay away from this towing service. These guys are parking sign vultures, they keep spotters in parking lots downtown and will pounce onto your car at a moments notice then charge exorbitantly high fees to recover it after you spend hours locating it, after it was practically stolen by these crooks. read more

I made a mistake and got towed. Despite this, and what would normally be a frustrating experience for anyone, Rincon was actually extremely helpful and kind. They are just fulfilling a service, I can't blame them. I was able to get my car back the very same night it was towed. Even after hours! Yes, this incurred a fee, but that is their right since someone had to come to the office to release my car (pretty late at night, mind you). The manager was quick and efficient, and the originally quoted amount was actually a little over $120 LESS than he thought. The manager was efficient and patient during the whole process. And since I drive a Tesla, I was worried that they might damage it (since you must use dollies or a flatbed), but they were smart and knowledgeable enough to tow it from the back so the rear wheels did not get damaged! An embarrassing life lesson made easier by the nice guys at Rincon. Let's hope we never see each other again xD read more

Got into an accident on Thursday 25th. After the ambulance helped me out and waited for PD for 15 mins my breathing was too critical to risk any longer. So today I had a friend help take me to the tow place to figure out what we need to do to get the insurance to fix the truck. 1st I have to very point of documentation to give them. 2nd I have a letter from my mother whom got the car and stated I am authorized to get things out and over see getting it off their lot as they charge astronomical prices. I was told that they need a physical copy from my mother who is in Florida. Then. The officer who took down the wreck marked the car as "stolen" in his report! (Does this happy a lot with rookie cops?) He is also the one that submitted the accident as a Hit & Run because the EMT wouldn't risk my health (as my blood pressure was sky rocketing) and after 15 rushed me to closest hospital. Luckily I saw the blank lie and incorrect info submitted by the officer and when I saw a cop in the ER to see what happened he was looking for me cause he was told the same thing. But back to this awful company!! The lady was super super rude on the phone, the proof I had at the counter wasn't adequate enough for him. (I mean insurance card, date and report of accident, photos, ER docs, notarized letter from my mother who helped me get the truck!!! Why would that ever be enough?) I am a truck driver and my trailer was stolen in Sacramento Ca, when it was recovered , rencon towing picked it up on Wednesday before thanksgiving. I arrived to pick it up and they would not release it to me. The guy Shawn in the office said they were in it for the money and I would half to wait till Monday to get released. They charged me a victim of a crime 1900.00 dollars to get the trailer back. And laughed about it. This is standard practice at this place. My truck was towed here because of an accident. When I called the lady on the phone was very nice and helpful. She told me exactly what I needed to get my truck out to prevent me from going through any hassles. When I got there the gentlemen at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful as well. After calling my mechanic when my car wouldn't start, the race was on. I called Rincon, telling dispatch that I either needed towing to midtown by the time my mechanic shut down, or to my house, which would need another tow later ($). I knew Rincon was good, but not necessarily cheap. Dispatch said they could get me to midtown on time. The clock was ticking, and I was nervous. The truck arrived about 28 minutes before the deadline, with 3 miles to tow. The tow driver was friendly, professional, and fast. He wasn't extremely familiar with the neighborhood, but figured out the best route (better than I would have, and I live here). We got there with minutes to spare, in 5PM traffic. Terrible customer service. When calling on the phone to get access to my vehicle after an accident I asked for directions. They treated me like I was an idiot for asking directions. When I got there in person they were even worse. No compassion for the customer. Very rude and inconsiderate.
