I couldn't be happier (with Capitol, at least). In the past week, I've had to have the same car towed by Capitol three times. The first time from my driveway to Motive Car Care for a 'crank/no start' condition; the second time (after Motive couldn't fix it but didn't charge me anything for the diagnostic) to Lexus of Sacramento; and the third time (after Lexus diagnosed two wiring harnesses destroyed by mice, and a 'nosebleed' repair estimate) back home to my driveway. All three times, Capitol was Johnny-on-the-spot, called a few minutes before they arrived, delivered and picked up my car from both Motive and Lexus of Sac with no difficulty, AND gave me a reduced price on both the second and third tow without me even having to ask. Best towing company around. I've called them 4 times in the past week for the same car. A week earlier I had a completely dead battery and AAA couldn't get the car in neutral and had to literally drag my car onto the flatbed leaving tire marks on my driveway and probably taking life off my tires and the whole process took over an hour. Next time I called Capitol with the same issue and he manually put the car in neutral and had it loaded in about 10 minutes. This latest call he diagnosed another vendor screwed up installation of a new battery and he fixed their mistakes onsite preventing a 4th tow in 1 week. Each time I've called he has arrived quickly, loaded/fixed my car quickly and been extremely friendly. Great service and very reasonable prices. Definitely my new preferred towing company. read more

I explained my dilemma of a probate close of escrow and 2 days to get 5 junk vehicles off the property. After numerous phone calls and getting the same response that it would take 24 to 48 hours and no guarantees, Paul's response of, "No Problem, we can be there today and take some cars and come back tomorrow for the rest," were like a 2-ton weight being lifted off my shoulders. Were the costs clearly explained? As promised, he met us at the property within an hour of the call, removed 3 vehicles, at no cost to me. Who was the contractor? Paul; he's the owner and operator of his own company. That's always a big plus. In my opinion, they take more pride in their service. Did he arrive on time? Arrived within the 1 hour of calling to schedule his services Was he professional and courteous? Very Was he knowledgeable of issues? Very, no shock at the number of vehicles lined up on the side yard, covered in thorny vines, and surrounded by junk and cat feces. He just said, "No problem, I can clear these all out". Shocked at how many good reviews there are. I'm sure it doesn't matter if your car was already ruined when Paul came to you, but if you want your car to not get any worse or be totalled entirely I'd really avoid this place. This company Ruined my car towing it and refused to give me their insurance information WHICH THEY ARE REQUIRED TO DO BY LAW even with proof of the damage being caused by the tow. Highway patrol said my only option was small claims court, which Costs money I dont have. Paul wouldnt work with my insurance, or with me because he stated he didnt want a claim on his record.
