I came across Last Call Towing and called their number. Malachi Malone picked up the phone and I explained that I needed a tow. He was quick to respond and also told me had another client that he was working with. Told me it would take about an hour or so. I said no rush. I ain't going anywhere. Gave him the area I was at and the exact location where my car was in the Church Parking lot. He got my car on his flatbed and towed me home two (2) miles from where I was stuck. Malachi is very friendly and thoughtful. He even got my car on my sloping driveway to where I don't need my car to be on the street if its' going to sit there for a while. He went and picked up all the parts from the dealer and then came straight to my house to do the work. I had my thermostat, thermostat housing, and water pump replaced all in one go. With kids and work, taking my car into a shop is always a pain, so having him come to me was a huge plus. His prices were about the same or cheaper than other quotes I got, which was awesome because it's basically like DoorDash for a mechanic--except he doesn't upcharge just for bringing the service to you. You can tell he really cares about doing quality work too--he even spent extra time cleaning up all the old oil and grease. No waiting rooms, no rides back and forth, just easy and stress-free. After messaging back and forth He came out to give us a diagnostic / dye test and was able to figure out the issue. The longest wait was the day it took to order the part. I was told by said agent I can't do anything for you so I contacted my insurance again to start the process all over, but when reconnected to the agent he already had an attitude and proceeded to yell and tell me to find business elsewhere an overall just made the situation worse. Just do better and have empathy for other others because kindness is effortless and it takes much effort to display anger.
