AAA called Ali from Loyal Towing, to come to my house because my car wouldn't start. He checked my battery and saw that it needed to be replaced and then replaced my battery. He was very professional and efficient! I highly recommend him!! read more

Terrible, they let us wait 2-2.5 hrs or so before they CALLED the tow, we only discovered when we called in to our insurance to check why it was taking so long for a tow due to a flat tire. We had no idea and were not notified at all. In fact, Loyal had given us an approx arrival time and we waited closer to another hour before we finally called our insurance emergency line only to find out Loyal isn't coming at all and another company was just asked to pick up where Loyal left us hanging. Never trust Loyal and if you hear that's the company being sent by your emergency roadside service company or insurance company, definitely say no thanks and ask for a different company! Make sure it's a truly local one. Loyal is headquartered in San Diego with locations throughout the state so their system is unreliable. Notice 619 area code for Loyal on the text we got because it's based in San Diego! Avoid at all cost. Terrible or, in our case, non existence service! read more

Called a dozen tow truck companies and of the two that answered, this was by far the cheapest option. They also arrived promptly. Highly recommend! read more

Adj: Atrocious and Awful! Really not sure how this place could have 4.1 stars on avg. But on a cold January winter day, one of our couple of weeks new tires lost air gradually and we had a flat. Thankfully, we were not on the freeway when this happened, but were on a residential street. Unfortunately, we were not within walking distance to our home or even close to our neighborhood. Nevertheless, we were so glad that it was a sunny and kind of warm day after quite a few rainy and stormy days, so at least we didn't have to wait in the wet and cold outside. I called my insurance company who sent Loyal. After over an hour, I was like, they said they'd be here in 45m, so I called our insurance back, only to find out that Loyal canceled on us w/o notifying us and our insurance co barely just found out and so they just rerouted the service order to another towing company! I was not a happy camper. Yours truly waited on the side of the road for most of this time by myself in order that a Good Samaritan, living in the house right where our car started losing air quick (thanks to my hubby for noticing, I'm not sure I myself would've noticed until it was really flat) could take my husband and my kids to my in-laws kind of nearby and borrow their (hardly driven) car (they are too elderly to drive to us for those wondering) to take the kids home and come back for me. Again, it was really a blessed day to have a flat b/c it actually was so sunny it got kind of warm, but after 2+ hours wait, the sun was starting to go down... Time is money so wasting my time = terrible value! Come to find out, Loyal is NOT even a local company, I know it shows they have a local address and number, but our insurance company directed me to a San Diego number when I asked for Loyal Towing's number to call myself and complain. I'm not sure that would do anything, but in any case, the only contact number we ever got was to a San Diego number where the central call center for Loyal is located. Lesson learned that if we ever need roadside assistance again and my car insurance sends Loyal, I'll immediately ask to have a different company sent. Thanks to all other Yelpers reviewing Loyal Towing who've also experienced terrible service (or disservice and no-service in my case), so others will know to avoid them like the Plague they are!!! read more

I needed a jump (I thought) this past weekend, and got connected with Loyal through AAA. They showed up quickly (within 15 minutes), and when the jump did not work, they were stocked with a veritable plethora of batteries (not often you get to use that), including the one we needed. Turns out ours was more than 6 years old. The whole operation, from request to finish took under 45 minutes. Ali was awesome, helpful and friendly. read more

I had an unfortunate incident when a person threw a glass bottle through my winsheild when I was driving at a high rate of speed. I was unharmed but my winsheild had a hole the size of a softball in it and I was stranded about 1 hour from my destination. Max from Loyal towing showed up as my AAA tow service and I couldn't have been more grateful. Not only did he advise me that the place I requested the car be towed did not have a secure yard but he called his boss and arranged to have my car towed to the Loyal Towing secure yard in Sacramento and safely stored until I could have the windshield repaired. (They did not charge me to keep my car on their lot for two nights) The people at Loyal towing also helped me find a person to replace my windshield the next morning (safelight winsheild repair quoted me two days later and a much higher price) and the gentlemen who replaced my windshield was prompt, fair and just an all around sweet guy! Overall, the people here made a scary and unfortunate incident turn out alright. I'm very happy to share my experience if it helps this solid business. I encourage anyone who needs honest and professional help in the towing department to call the people at Loyal Towing. read more

The serpentine belt on my car broke about 7 miles from home at 10pm on a Saturday night. I was with my son and we called AAA for a tow home, figuring we'd wait about an hour at least, but the driver from Loyal Towing arrived within 15 minutes. He was incredibly kind, professional and conscientious. Two days later, we called AAA again to request a tow from my home to a local mechanic, and they sent Loyal Towing. Again, their driver arrived quickly (a different driver than before) and was also extremely thoughtful, professional and kind. By far the best experience I've ever had with a towing company; I would recommend them to anyone! read more

I called AAA because my lights had been left on and my battery was dead. They came in a big truck filled with batteries. The agent opened my hood and told me that my battery was dead and had to be replaced. I asked him how he knew that just by looking at the battery. He replied that he was familiar with that brand and that it was junk. (It was a Walmart top-of-the-line battery less than a year old.) At my request, he then "connected" my battery with a box he took off his truck. He then said that my battery was so dead that the jumper box couldn't start it and it was powerful enough to start heavy diesel trucks. This didn't seem right to me but I had to get to a meeting and was desperate. I paid $222.83 for a 3-year battery. I then took the old battery back to Walmart. They tested it and said it was fine; it had only been discharged. I have called and written to Loyal Towing asking for a resolution, but they don't respond. read more

I called my car insurance for roadside assistance. Max from Royal Towing arrived within 15 minutes of my request. I called my insurance company for ERS assistance for a flat tire. Luckily I was at home and was able to wait the eta of one hour. Not only did they not show up on time, the guy who came couldn't take one of my lug nuts off and stripped it. Then he said I would have to call my insurance for company and service change from flat tire to a tow service. I got on the phone right away only for him to say he had another call for a tow and as soon as he was done he would come back but that he would text me to make sure I was good to go with my insurance company. Not only did he strip my lug nut, he left, never got a call back and took zero accountability. If you want a bigger problem then what you already having please give this company a call. My brand new Hyundai Ioniq had a dead battery and we called Hyundai Road assistance. Fortunately they send AAA related Loyal Towing and it's representative Kyle Peterson. Kyle was fantastic! Not only jumped the battery but provided my wife and I detailed instructions on how to prevent the battery discharge from happening again as we should use a battery Trickle device on vacation on not using the vehicle. He was wonderful! Nice guy and super competent! read more

Had vehicle towed to dealership. In the process the technician broke the tie rod on the passenger front wheel. Multiple witness to the incident and yet Loyal towing requires me to take pictures of the damage and send it to them for "evaluation". This is after numerous attempts to contact their management with no call back. Very little accountability or integrity. Never spoke to "management". They damaged my vehicle, knew they damaged it and yet I need to justify to them why they should be accountable. read more

Jonathan did such a great job communicating with me to let me know how long the wait would be, and on top of that, he got there really quickly. He made sure to get me settled safely in the truck, offered me some water, and got my car loaded up crazy fast. He was really engaging to chat with on the drive to the mechanic. If I ever break down in this area again, I would definitely use Loyal towing. read more

Battery wouldn't start in the cold. AAA sent Kyle from Loyal Towing. He came in the time estimated, recharged my old battery, showed me its stats, and thoroughly explained my options. He went above & beyond, cheerfully explaining how to best maintain the battery (given modern auto-electronic drains on batteries). Very knowledgeable, professional & super-nice guy. In the end, I bought a new battery - AAA set the prices (similar to estimate, but there were additional taxes and a fee*). *Be aware that there may be a (just less than $10 dollar fee for ~$200 AAA battery) fee for using a credit card when buying - consider ask ahead of time. read more

Staff is unhelpful and refused to replace a dead car battery. Overall difficult to work with and did everything possible to make things difficult through the AAA process. Completely Exploitative. We were quoted $350 for a 5 mile tow. Then charged $800. They have changed their story multiple times. My GMC pickup with a 350 V8 oil filter came off Thursday April 13 about noon as Oil Changers in Oroville had installed the Incorrect Oil Filter (they installed one for a Geo Metro) it turns the last 2 times I took my truck in for an Oil Change. This time I was on my way to a 40 year reunion with some old 76 Refinery Co Workers as we were to meet up in Suisun. The filter came off on the medium traffic on Hwy 80 Westbound. Fortunately it did not cause an accident. The Loyal driver Aleksey helped take some of the Frustration off of the event. Subaru Roadside Assistance sent out Loyal Towing last week when my 2017 Subaru Legacy would not start. ( Not a review for Subaru but I am a fan despite the issues I've had with this one) The driver, Casey, arrived on time as promised and even called me prior to his arrival to give me a heads up. That was super helpful as I was home with 2 "not so little ones" and sick. He was able to get it started and gave me options as to what we could do next. Since my car is under warranty I elected to have it taken to the dealer. It's was very considerate of him to ask me since I may have been paying out of pocket and just days after Christmas. Very disappointed with Loyal towing. Contacted and talked with the manger name Rose. She agreed to tow my car in 3 days with a specified driver. This is a high end car. When I called her on the day we agreed on she acted like we had not made any plans. I had delayed any other plans to have the car towed because I was relying on Rose's word. I also learned from AAA they have a reputation of taking the tow request then not showing up for hours after the call. Do not trust what they say. read more

Not Loyal. They left a very pregnant on the side of the road. I got a flat and originally got a 90 minute wait time for a tow truck. I didn't mind because it was rush hour, I understand they're busy. Then they pushed my pickup time another 30 minutes. After that 30 minutes they cancelled and I got put in a que for another tow truck company where I had to wait another hour. They should have cancelled well before the 90 minutes so I could get another tow truck. read more

I was sent to this company by GEICO when my F250 died halfway in an intersection blocking lanes. I called to make sure they can handle a large lifted truck and make sure they understood we are in an intersection and not safe. Christine answered and seemed unhappy to help and not understanding our situation. Not only could she not give me a solid ETA. She said they would send it back to the insurance to find a faster tow and they'll call me. I called back after 30 mins of waiting and then asked to continue with the original tow. After waiting 1 hour she canceled the tow with no reasoning leaving me stranded longer in the heat in the middle of the road. I had to call GEICO and start all over again. We were referred to this company by GEICO. Our experience was absolutely horrible with these people. The rep told my wife that if she kept calling to ask for an eta, he would push our time further out for a tow. Mind you we've been sitting for over an hour on the side of the freeway. As a business owner myself I'm shocked and appalled that we're being treated in this manner during an emergency situation. I would definitely stay away from this company. I'm reaching out to my attorneys tomorrow as well as GEICO corporate to further escalate the issue. I hope this company loses their contract if I can help it. read more

Loyal Towing - Towing Near Me - Sacramento, California

Ok this review is a little late. The holidays were a little stressful and just finally got a chance to sit down and review how wonderful and knights in shining armor this Loyal Towing company was. I was stuck on a not so safe area off the off ramp an hour away from home. Triple A sent the soonest available towing company they can find but they didn't have anyone that was available for about an hour or more. There were transients staring at me, I was cold, and I had to pee and the nearest place for a restroom in walking distance was 2 miles away. I do not remember the name of the guy who called me to inform me that a tow won't be able to make it to me soon, but I let him know my situation and he assured me he was going to try to send the first tow that was available that wasn't already en route on another job. To my surprise he called me back to tell me he has a tow guys named Rob who was towing a car to another location passing by and was going to swing by and take me to a restroom. I made sure this wasn't an inconvenience to the driver, but he insisted. Rob came to save my bladder and went out of his way to find me a clean safe place to pee. He didn't want me sitting in an unsafe area late at night while I waited for a tow truck and dropped me off at a restaurant nearby so I can grab a bite to eat since my whole ordeal has now been 3 hours into my night. He assured me that Max is coming to get me and will pick me up and take me to my car to tow. Then Max called to let me know he was going to be there to pick me up soon. He apologized for my wait, took me to my car and effortlessly got it on the truck bed and off we go. Max was awesome company and was very knowledgeable about cars and helped answered some of the questions I had about what cars to look out for and what to avoid when I purchase one. I couldn't have had a better group of guys in a crazy situation save the day and made a shitty evening into my faith in humanity restored. Thank you thank you thank you!!! To a prosperous new year to all of you guys. read more
