When I first arrived, I had a little trouble finding the front entrance because there are several buildings on the property. Once I found my way in, I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and peaceful the grounds are. There is a lovely tropical area with a koi pond that adds to the relaxing atmosphere. They also have a really nice gift shop with so many unique items to choose from, including teas, crystals, lotions, and other fun wellness and self-care products. It was definitely worth taking some time to browse. I had a wonderful experience with my massage. It was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what I needed. My niece also had a massage there and had a great experience as well. Overall, I really enjoyed my first visit to Four Moons Spa and can definitely see why it's considered a hidden gem. I will absolutely be back!

From the moment you arrive, it feels like you've stepped into a serene healing portal. The lush gardens, koi pond, mature trees, cozy outdoor spaces, and thoughtful details create an atmosphere that immediately invites you to slow down and breathe. I had an amazing massage with Violet, who struck the perfect balance between relaxation and therapeutic care. She listened to exactly what my body needed and I left feeling completely renewed. Thank you, Violet! My facial with Alexis was one of the best I've ever experienced. The highlights were the lymphatic drainage massage, the cooling ice globes, and the incredible hydration my skin received. My face felt sculpted, refreshed, and absolutely glowing afterward. Thank you, Alexis! The spa itself is just as memorable as the treatments. We enjoyed relaxing in the tranquil outdoor spaces surrounded by greenery, the peaceful koi pond, and the calming ambiance that makes it easy to forget you're only minutes from San Diego.

Out of 100 different masseuse's, Stephie was by far the best. Her tiny hands are like a natural gua sha tool. I like my massages hard, and I didn't even have to tell her to adjust at all. She was very intuitive and knew exactly what I wanted and needed without me telling her anything. Her space was very tranquil and relaxing too. I felt like I was at a retreat. I was given a gift card to go see her for my birthday from a friend, and I would have to say that was the best birthday present I've ever received! I recommend seeing Stephie to show yourself some self love. She really set me straight!

I was stressed trying to find someone who could work on my knots and relieve the pain. Yelp has always helped find a great resource in the past and this was no exception. I found Claudia here on Yelp and she was a total blessing. Her studio is comfortable and clean. I explained what my body had been going through and she quickly threw out some suggestions as she started to get to work. She found some trouble spots right away and really worked on them. It was sort of that pleasurable pain that comes with muscle tissue. As it's worked on, it can be a bit painful. However, after it is worked on, it feels 110% better. That was truly the case here. I mentioned that if she found additional spots to kneed out, to please keep going. She certainly found and kept going! Definitely longer than your usual session, but OH SO WORTH IT! Continued feeling loose and good for days after. If you're in need of some deep bodywork, give Claudia a call. You'll thank me later! Keep on Yelp'n!

Before my massage, I filled out a questionnaire about my needs and any areas I wanted the therapist to focus on, I appreciated this. I wasn't exactly sure which massage I needed so I explained how my body was feeling and the type of pressure I preferred, and my therapist Nadia took it from there. I was lucky enough to travel to Thailand last year and experience a proper Thai massage, and ever since then I've been dreaming about finding something similar here in the States. My fiancé searched high and low for a massage for my birthday and came across Emerald Day Spa, and I'm so glad he did! This was honestly one of the best massages I've ever had in the U.S. For a split second I felt like I was back in Thailand My body was so sore and tense before I came in, and afterward I felt completely relaxed. My therapist really listened to me and worked on all of my target areas. I already feel such a difference! I also had a great conversation with Peter at the front desk about Thailand, and it was awesome to learn that he was actually from the same area I had visited. It made the experience feel even more special and authentic. You can really tell that this family owned business truly cares about finding massage therapists who know what they're doing. They even offered me hot tea after the appointment which was delicious. If you're looking for an authentic Thai massage experience, I promise look no further. I highly recommend Emerald Day Spa and will absolutely be coming back! Thank you :)

I found Emerald Day Spa online and called for more information. Luigi, who I later learned was the owner, answered the phone and was incredibly helpful, patiently addressing all my questions and providing the information I needed. We scheduled our appointments for a couple of hours later. When we arrived, Luigi greeted us warmly and gave us the forms to fill out. These forms covered the type of massage we wanted and any health issues we might have. My wife and I opted for deep tissue massages, and while I was fine with the masseuse stepping on my back, my wife was not. We also requested to be in the same room. In the end, our rooms were adjacent, and the staff simply slid the wall between them to create one larger space. After 90 minutes of intense deep tissue massage, which at times made me want to scream due to my numerous stiff muscles, I walked out feeling relaxed and much better. The therapist seemed to find every tight muscle in my back, even some I didn't know existed, and worked through them with impressive skill. My wife, who is very particular with massages, was even happier with her massage! After our massages, Luigi welcomed us back, offered us a few pieces of chocolate while processing my credit card payment, and reminded us to stay hydrated. We chatted for a few minutes before leaving.
