As I said, at the beginning, I have not seen them perform in about three years but they have definitely gotten better and would be competitive in French festivals in Canada or improv festivals that go on throughout the United States. This show is PG but they do have more adult shows which I went to in the past. Both will make you laugh.

We laughed and whooped so much our sides hurt and I was losing my voice :) In such an intimate setting the show really came to life and you could see, and feel part of, every facet of the spectacular show and watch the 1970's reappear, along with the BO competitors antics. Sexily hilarious Boylesque fencing, plus busty rhythmic gymnastics, rugby action attraction, a swinging Swede, horsing around Pink Ponies, dirty dancing, and a beautiful drag queen shi shi stilettoing through the theatre, it was non stop Olympic action and so entertaining. If you can grab tickets, go! They will be holding other shows throughout the year and tickets sell out quickly so go online and book them now as this is a small theatre. There is an intermission and you can run faster than a drag queen around the corner to the wine bar for a quickie cocktail before settling back into your seat for round II of the Olympics and more merriment and tassels! It was my first time at this theatre and it definitely won't be my last. Best night out in Maui! Many thanks to all the performers, folks behind the scenes, the front of house and everyone involved in making such a wonderful creation . It honestly felt like a private lesson. He took the time to understand our different skill levels and customized everything so we both felt comfortable, challenged, and successful. What stood out just as much as his skill as an instructor was how genuinely kind and respectful he was. As an LGBTQIA couple, we felt completely welcomed and at ease, which meant a lot and made the experience even more special. George is not only an incredible instructor, but someone who truly cares about making sure you have a great time and get full value out of your experience. We both walked away feeling confident, accomplished, and so happy we chose this company. If you're booking, ask for George. You won't regret it.

He brought rash guards. Cons: 1. Rocky beach with shallow wave break, your group will have to be careful to "fall shallow" off your board or you may get cut by the rocks/coral below. 2. Instructor was short on some needed gear (no water shoes for me in standard US Size 10). 3. Instructor was not the best at coaching/communicating, had a bad attitude at times (probably the biggest issue we had with this lesson). The Whole Picture: After signing up we received an automated email with the time and location of the surf lesson. Was surprised that it was actually 20 minutes south of Lahaina at a ROCKY ENTRY north of Ukumehame Beach Park. On 04/24/2026, the day of our 10AM surf lesson, we pulled off the highway next to the instructor's truck which had a cone on the hood of it. We did quick introductions and the instructor gave us rash guards and boards. He then asked us our shoe sizes as this location required water shoes given it was so rocky. Unfortunately, he only brought one pair of size 10 water shoes, and with two people in our group who wear size 10, I had to wear size 11 which was too big and made it hard to balance (not ideal when trying to surf). He then provided some basic surfing instructions on the beach and then had us follow him into the water. His vibe up until this point was just okay, not super positive, sort of just like he was just going through the motions, but at least he was calm - this changed once we started trying to catch our first waves. He didn't tell us to start to ride in any particular order, or for only one person to go at a time, so once we paddled out we all started trying to catch a wave the first time he said "here's a wave to go for" (we were about 20 feet apart from each other). We thought we did well when two of the three of us caught our first wave attempt and each had a nice safe ride, but the happy moment quickly ended when we paddled back out to have him yell at the two us "what are you guys doing?!? You can't take off so close to each other or close to me like that!!" He went on to say that we could potentially hit each other if we are too close, while this is potentially a fair critique to make as an instructor, its also something that he should have communicated to us before we even paddled out. The bad/tense situation could have been avoided if he had just instructed us properly in advance saying "now once we get out there I want you guys to only try a wave one at a time, or to be at least 50 feet apart", but he didn't. Also when we paddled back out he could have just coached us in a positive way saying "hey guys good job on your first wave, but next time go one at a time because you could potentially run into each other", but again he chose to yell and be snarky, not a great approach for an instructor. Basically in addition to more water shoes, our instructor needed a positive coaching reminder (remember your aloha brother)!

Being totally out of touch with the Hawaiian music scene I thought..."Ut oh. Another Don Ho impersonator." I figured I was was going to eat as fast as I could so that when the show started I could slip out before "Tiny Bubbles" started... The dinner was actually pretty good at the Marriott. As I was finishing my dessert, the lights dimmed for the show to start....and I glanced around picking out my escape route. What came on stage was a huge bulky Samoan with hair that spread out 3 feet in diameter.. As he said in his subsequent monolog, if you were on a bus and he boarded it, you would get off the bus and wait for the next one. As he talked to warm up the audience he was actually pretty funny. Then he started to play. WOW. He played the guitar with a bass player and drummer. That was it. Yet, his playing filled the song....strumming and playing solos that seemed to be simultaneous and continuous. He was doing riffs with full cords that most guitarists would have trouble with single notes. He played a range of pop, oldies, folk, country. His solos were a match to any professional musician on the circuit today. In the middle of his set, he then said he was an out of the box musician.....and certainly he looked the part. But then.....he started to sing opera with a modern arrangement. Yes....this was way out of the box......and his voice was impeccable. A purist would probably argue his voice wasnt the best that the Met had to offer, but I have sat through enough operas to know he would at least qualify to audition at the Met. His 1.5 hour set just whizzed by. His skills as a guitarist were some of the best I have ever seen, bar none (I was an usher at the Greek Theater for 3 years and saw the world's best musicians there) His voice had had incredible range in range and in timbre. He could have a very pure operatic voice or a raspy Joe Cockerish twang. At the end of his performance, the whole audience was captivated and yelling "HANA HO." No...that isn't a Hugh Grant saying but what I was told was that it was Hawaiian for "ENCORE." If you are planning a trip to Hawaii and have some flexibility of dates and where to stay....and if you like great entertainment, see if you can attend a Wille K concert. He is that good. Looking at his bio later, I found he has backed up, played with or opened some of the biggest names in the business. One of his songs was Grammy nominated which didn't surprise me in tne the least. Well....my night didn't go according to plan....and I was glad. I would have stayed until dawn if he chose to play that long. I was fortunate to see such a great entertainer. HANA HO.

The first showing impressed me so much I had to go again! Micheal (Kekoa), brings such a special brand of charisma as does the rest of the staff (whom usually alternate). This really brought back my appreciate for magic. The best part is that this is close up magic, so you get a very intimate feel and see things as close as possible. As with all magic shows there is a bit of story you have to buy into, but that's the beauty of it all, is to give that feeling and belief that something can happen. This show and staff really captures all those in the most entertaining and hilarious way possible. Thank you again Kekoa and staff, next time I'm in Hawaii I will surely find any excuse to visit.

My hubby and I have been together for more than 30 years so this has been a great new date night option. We have been to 2 of these shows, different magicians, and left thinking both times, "how did he do that?" We've been to the big Vegas Shows but this was like sitting in a cozy living room with a group of friends while watching everything close up. You would be extra lucky if there are children in the group because they add to the "Wow!" factor. The magicians are top notch and do a fantastic job engaging the audience and adding their own humor to their delivery. Last night we were lucky enough to attend Shoot Ogawa's last show (for now. He made everything look so simple, natural, some were old slight of hand but still left us scratching our heads. We understand that he is going to be back in a couple of weeks). If you share your email address, they also provide you discount coupons to attend another show, no strings attached. They said that they rotate through the top 20 international parlor magicians. Even the most skeptical audience members left with smiles on their faces. The magicians also stick around at the end to pose for pictures with people from the audience. We also received a complimentary drink and free validated parking. I would recommend following the instructions on the confirmation to be there early. They take people in by groups. The staff members are super friendly and funny. They take you into a small room with a bunch of neat stuff that make you ask, "is that for real?" The first group will get first choice seating. Sit in the middle for the best view and get ready for a no - low tech night of old fashioned entertainment.
