The counselor Ms Kelly when I told her something EXAGGERATED my story and told my family, what then happened after that is I was isolated, and screamed at, and hated for YEARS, the abuse got worse because of ONE exaggeration, I do believe some of my mental health issues that started during that time are entirely her fault because they developed do to what happened because she told my family what I said. And in 5th grade I had Mrs Davis (retired), she was kind, I really did like her, but truly didn't understand what I was experiencing at home. My mom had been in jail and I was still being abused harshly at home and bullied at school, I would break down in class all the time because I was so tired and stressed and had so many problems that I couldn't handle it enough to focus or work, for this I wasn't given much slack, which made my life miserable at that time. My overall review of Kula school is that it was okay, just okay.

That makes it hard to feel safe and focus during the day. I've also noticed moments where certain adults or situations make students feel uncomfortable, like too much staring or not respecting personal space. On top of that, most kids don't feel comfortable talking to adults about what's going on, which makes it even harder for problems to get fixed. I don't know everything for sure, but I know how it feels, and it's something that should be taken seriously. Students should feel safe, respected, and able to speak up if something feels off.

He looks at the girls, their buts, and chests and, he where's sunglasses inside so don't know what hes looking at. I have reported him before but nothing was done, they said they would follow up with me and they never did. Now I will tell you story's from my class. In my class the boys seemed to be his favorite, and to him it seemed like they did nothing wrong. For one instance there was a kid who told one of my friends he was going to deport her back to Jamaica and another girl to go back to Africa. We told him and he said let it go ,and never talked to the boy, or anyone not staff not his parents not anyone. The boys in that class, got the girls stuff wet one time and he did not seem to care except for, when a girl who stuff had gotten wet she ran down to a security person and told her what happed. Auntie Jessie was the security guard that she told, and she came up and asked what had happend and. Mr.deigez stared to get mad at the boys, but the second she left he asked the girls why we always have to bicker with the boys, and to let it go and that we were overreacting. There was one more time were one girl had hit another and she was crying and we had told Mr. Diegez that she was slapped and he didnt call anyone so no one knows that she was slapped except for the people in the class. I have talked to many girls in his class that have similar things going on. He has many reports made against him and not one has been taken seriously. I dont care who dosent belive me but i do care that i dont want this to happen to any other girl in his class. That's all. DONT ENROLL UR GIRL FOR 6TH GRADE THEY WILL HAVE THIS CREEPO THEACHER WHO WILL LOOK AT THEM JUST WAIT TILL 7TH GRADE!!!!!

My son has told me that a staff member, Mrs. Campbell, grabbed him by the arm to slow down, and his friends verified this happened. They have shown me pictures on their phones of the red marks she left on his upper arm. Regardless of him running, she shouldn't have laid a hand on my son. They all said she can be really mean at times and overly aggressive. I was really upset and was going to file a complaint, but my son didn't want any unwanted attention. He will be going to Seabury Hall next year with his friends. He said it wasn't a big deal, but I think it is.

I guess I'll be the first one to review. Drugs sex fights. If you want your kid to not do drugs…read moredrink or smoke this is not the place for you to send them! coming from someone who went there. I knew this boy it was the beginning of the year he just entered 6th grade, sweet boy funny had a lot of light in his eyes. Intelligent and eager to be nice and make friends. By the end of the year, WHOLE different person. He looked drained, changed his style to look more of how everyone else was. I tried to be friends with him again because we fell out of touch but he was so harsh and f boy like IN 6th GRADE! Man that was a key example of what the school does to you, turns you into a nic or weed addict who dosnt care about anything but that and fitting the mold. I will say they had the nicest teachers out of any school I've ever been to though. This school did churn out the most effed up people I've ever met. Also when I first moved to the school I met a girl who was shy and nice, this school turned her into an alcoholic and last I talked to her she was on probation for stealing. That school changed her and the culture of it. It changed me too. It is impossible changing like that when going to this school. Also just the uncalled for amount of bullying. I remember a nice black kid went to this school and he was like the only black kid in our grade. In class the boys would call him the n word and just berate him saying the most unnecessary and uncalled for shit. They do that like to everyone there but his was a pretty out in the open example I could give. They pick the only difference you have from the mold and berate and bully you for it until you lash out change or fold inwards. Also the principle and staff ignore ignore ignore everything the children do. And them ignoring it just perpetuates it more. If your a parent looking to send you child to this school please don't. Don't send them to any school on Maui just homeschool because the drug culture is so intense everywhere. I wouldn't send my kid to any school not even the privet ones over there cuz drugs and alcohol are pushed on everyone not just the social kids. At this point just move off the island because no good will come from living there.
