Once their business changed from photo chemicals to digital image capture, Randy spent many years teaching Photoshop classes in his Kula Studio. Then he taught these classes all over the world. Randy has been making prints of my paintings since 1995. He and his wife Becky keep working until they get it right, i.e. the first day that I met them, Randy had just gotten his 1st Mac. Since I had been teaching on them we were still at it at 10 pm! I was Department Chair for Art & Design at a Community College in North Carolina for many years, while running my Illustrations & Design Studio simultainiously. After 20 years & a M.A. in Illistration and Design, I moved back to Hawaii. I had taken 2 years off to paint 40 watercolors for a show at the Kahala Hilton in Honolulu--my 1st, 1 person show! Six Months later, in July of 1994, I opened HeART of Lāna'i Gallery in Lāna'i City, Hawaii. By 1995, I was ready to have all of my 8"x10" and 4"x5" transparencies of my paintings scanned.
