Purchased a 2021 Acadia from this dealership. First contact was made with Richard Scoles, (Sales Manager) who also brought in Mike Becker, our Salesman. Both Richard Scoles and Mike we couldn't have been happier with. Both very personable and willing to go that extra mile to make us happy. Prior to this purchase we had been faithful Nissan purchasers, (last 6 vehicles in the past 13 years), always using Walsar Nissan in Burnsville. We did visit them to look at a vehicle prior to making this purchase and not one person there even talked to us. Now, to their credit, they were busy, but there were extra people at the back counter and it would seem like one of them could have given us a greeting and said they would get the first "freed-up" person to us when they could. Nissan doesn't deal with you at all on their pricing, very cut and dry. Repairs took way longer than they should have. Communication about the timeline was completely lacking and unprofessional.

Their communication is terrible the project took five six days longer nothing was in writing they never finished and had anything programmed and blamed me for approving work they never had programmed on my computer. Also my 2019 GMC Sierra i had to replace the motor at $120,000 miles the transmission at 150,000 miles the upper control arm ball fell apart on the highway i would absolutely never buy a GM and I would absolutely never bring it to this dealership terrible experience they blamed me for everything ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ read more

Buyers beware...they do anything to get the car off the lot and the service and follow up ends there. The service dept. manager is rude and the world revolves around him. I bought a new 25 gmc truck in November 24 there and will not be getting my new truck serviced there! they overcharged me on fees and will not refund... reported to Attorney General of Minnesota, they don't reply to the state either! read more

We moved here in 2017 and chose to have our 2016 Buick serviced at Mauer because it was fairly convenient and the car was still on warranty. We were regular customers and, overall, the service was good until the service department decided to perform "service " on the car we never requested nor authorized. They decided, with zero knowledge of the history of our tires to rotate them at our expense. They did this without asking and we were sitting in their waiting room. That sort of arrogance and bill padding is intolerable and we won't be back. read more

Was at work today, but snuck away to try to schedule some service through a GM dealer. Couldn't schedule an online service appt--it kept asking for make/model even though I had provided them. When I called to schedule an appointment, the man who answered the phone in the service dept. didn't say anything about the website glitch and was very short and rude to me throughout the whole conversation regarding my 3 separate service issues (including a GM recall, which I understand might be a pain in the rear, but is NOT MY FAULT). When I told him I was sorry that I had so many questions and that I felt that his tone was a bit rude, he said "well, I'm just giving back what I'm getting." He was not at all helpful in offering any suggestions or information to answer my questions, even when I told him that I was looking for a new GM dealer as I have a 2006 Saturn and Saturn dealers no longer exist (recall work has to be done by a GM dealer). Chances are I'll be needing more service as the car ages, and I may soon be in the market for a new vehicle. Guess gaining/retaining a customer didn't matter to this guy. I must have interrupted his lunch. I called another GM dealer in the area and had a perfectly pleasant conversation; issues resolved. read more

I did not have a good buying experience at Mauer GMC. I put $1000 down to get my name on a list to have a new vehicle built for me. When the new vehicle came in, I knew the retail price was non-negotiable, so I figured they would at least give me a fair market value on my trade-in. Because of the situation, they new they had me, so they lowballed me on the value of my trade. The sales manager said they were going to send the trade to a wholesaler, and had to lowball me due to a prior accident. I tried to negotiate some what, asking to throw in a part that retails for $400, nope, no dealing at all. Today when I went to pick up my license plates, my trade was for sale on their lot for $10,000 more than they gave me. After paying almost $90,000 for my new vehicle, I left there with a really bad taste in my mouth, feeling lied to and ripped off. Not anywhere close to the experience I had earlier this year when we bought a new vehicle for my daughter at another local GMC dealer. Obviously, I won't going back, and to let consumers know what they will be dealing with when they walk into Mauer GMC. read more

I brought my Buick Lecurne in (which was purchased new from Arrow) to get diagnosed and repaired. Not only did they NOT find the problem, they managed to wreck the front end of my car on the front drivers side. Sure they paid for a new bumper and headlight but now Im stuck with a car with two different looking headlights. Looks like a car thats been in a wreck!!! Good buying experience working with Tim online. I tried working with a different dealer closer to my home, but got terrible response. I had emailed that dealer with exactly what I wanted to order and got no response. I then called and spoke with a sales person who took my info and said he was very busy, but would call be back. Never heard from him. Tim on the other hand responded to my inquiry the next day. I had done my homework and got the price I wanted. We then confirmed my order that night and it was delivered exactly when he said it would be. Good process. Will see how the service is at my first appt. read more

Arrow Buick has done some extensive work on the vehicle, not only in physical repairs and maintenance, but a recent failure of an airflow sensor caused us to need an unscheduled repair and Scott accommodated us and got the repair done quickly and us back on the road again. I took my car in for a vibration in my front tires with 20K miles on vehicle , the technician took my car in, manager gave me a quote for the work to be done, I was called in to pick up my vehicle and the technician sends me to the cashier to pay. Find out he had taken the liberty to perform a 6K maintenance service I never asked for thereby tripling my bill. The manager requested he corrects the bill to the agreed price and he disrespectfully throws a tantrum like a 2 year old kid. The technician did not direct me to my car and never apologized for his behavior. Supposedly he claimed my tires were rotated and tire pressure set at 32 psi, checked the system tracker and my tires were not set or changed from when I dropped my vehicle. No point arguing with these people especially with technicians like what I saw. Glad to know I cannot depend on the integrity of this dealer with technicians like that, shame they represent a brand like Buick. read more

After giving you a glowing review for my previous visit, I drove my 2012 Acadia for a week only to learn that the problem had not been fixed after all. My original problem was that the A/C was not cooling -- I was told I needed a new coil for $1,400. That was replaced (and I paid for it), but then, as I was driving the Acadia and noticed that three of the five front dash vents were blowing ice cold air, but the other two front dash vents were blowing heat. When i brought it back in, I was told the switcher doors were not working and needed to be replaced for $550. That was VERY disappointing bc that was NOT the problem I was having previously. I would definitely have noticed if the HEAT was blowing full blast when the temp was set to 60. Also, I don't understand why that would not have shown up during a test of the A/C after the initial repair?? Reluctantly, I agreed to have the work done bc what could I do? I could not prove that you guys created the second mistake. Fortunately, Scott F. was able to reduce my bill by about $100 which was nice. However, I wish I had agreed to pay for the part but not the labor. Got another car wash, which is always appreciated, but I was disappointed in having to return to the dealership for you to fix a problem that you should have picked up on when working on the initial problem. It's frustrating when a business losses touch with customer service and the idea of treating a customer the same way the business owner would like to be treated. I purchased a car online from Mauer Buick GMC on Friday July 3rd. They were closed for the holiday and I had already seen and test driven the car so I felt comfortable using their online purchase option. It was easy, including setting up the time for at home delivery, awesome right? I received an email stating that someone would contact me first thing in the morning which meant Monday due to the holiday. I waited for a phone call or an email and after receiving nothing I called them. I left a message with the receptionist and waited, still nothing. I called again expecting to the receptionist that I used their online purchase option and had been waiting 2 1/2 hours for a phone call, she transferred me to new car sales, the salesperson knew nothing about my online purchase so he took a bit of info and said he will look into it. I got a call a few minutes later from another salesperson asking for more personal information that I already provided online, he said he wanted to fast track the process to ensure my car would be delivered on time. No problem, things are still looking good. Now I waited, it took a long time for someone to get back to me but my car was scheduled to be delivered in 3 hours, so l was happy. I waited until it felt like something must be wrong, 5 1/2 hours had gone by with no word from anyone so I called them again. They told me the car sold shortly after our conversation. First why did they leave me waiting 5 1/2 hours?! Second, why didn't their online purchase application let me know that the car was still available to be purchased by anyone until it was delivered to me, I would have skipped the online process and driven to the dealer. If they had called first thing in the morning like they said in their email we could have discussed that the car was still for sale and I could have given them a credit card number for a deposit, but instead I was left to sit ALL day until I finally had to call them, I didn't get the car or even any kind of phone call. Mauer has forgotten basic customer service, I imagine someone from Mauer will respond to this review to make themselves look better but I believe in good customer service up front not excuses after the customer writes something online. I would expect better customer service from a brand new car dealer, Mauer should be embarrassed considering how long they have been in business. Terrible customer service. The customer is rarely right may be their motto. Dealing with the service managers is always a fight. Repairs are not done in a timely manner. I bought my car here and have brought it here for service for warranty repairs. They have no urgency to call for updates - plan on calling them. They are not interested in doing any "extras" such and checking fluid etc unless you have specifically asked. Will not ever use them again unless forced. read more

The service team was very helpful and got me in the same day to replace an old and close to dead battery. They gave me options and did a full check on the vehicle. Although the weather was to cold they normally wash your car as part of any service. Great people! read more

Horrible service! Went in for some recall work and a check engine light. Was never talked to about the issue or charges before they checked the codes. 144.00 for scanning my computer for codes. Anywhere else it's 49.00. I stressed my concerns with the service department and I was told that the this is a union shop and not a bunch of high school kids working here. I own 2 GMC vehicles and live close to Arrow, but I'll never go back and never recommend this place to anyone. If you want a trustworthy auto shop....keep looking. We were told that free oil changes, fluid top offs and car washes for the life of owning our vehicle was a "perk" of our purchase through Arrow Buick. I guess free is 54.99 for a oil change and don't worry the customer is alway wrong!!! With their "free" car wash they don't even vacuum your car, I would rather pay for a car wash down the street than take my vehicle back there. If you are looking to outrageous prices for a simple oil change, want to receive horrible customer service and have hoops to jump through for simple service this is the place to go! Make sure you ask for John to help you because you will not get a "good morning, I will be with you in a moment or how can I help you" when interacting with this gem. Make sure you PRINT a coupon because they do not accept electornic offers found on THEIR website. This place must have a difficult time retaining employees if John is the ONLY person they have working greeting people in the service department on a Saturday! We have had two interactions with the service department at Arrow and unfortunately have been lucky enough to work with John both times. We will NEVER do business there again! read more
