Update: I found a job as I was going through several agencies but nobody went as far out of their way as Kristen did. She sent me on interviews and I was simply overqualified and considered a flight risk if hired for lower than what I had been making previously. Although I found a position on my own, I still highly recommend Kristen at Mattson Resources. She really went the extra mile to place me. I recommend her to all my friends looking for positions. read more

I was referred to Mattson by a friend and met with Christyn. She was super nice and helpful and asked me all kinds of questions about what kind of job I would prefer, work environment, pay, etc. I felt like she was really getting a good idea of what I would want. Since she does accounting/finance and I am more administration, she had me talk with Lynne, who does admin jobs. Lynne had been wonderful to me as well! The day I came in she gave me a two week temp job which I LOVE and pays pretty well. It makes it so easy to make connections! She also has a possible temp to hire job lined up before I've even finished this one! She also checks in with me often to make sure everything is going well. I have had such a wonderful experience and would recommend them highly. read more

Spoke to the recruiter Lesley Peterson only once on the phone, she scheduled me to come in and interview for a travel nurse recruiter position. I was there for about 45 mins and that was it. Next thing I know I got the job. Easiest, fastest, most convenient process ever! I've spoken to other recruiters in the past but none were as effective as Mattson. Thanks so much!!! read more

Sean, recruiter with Mattson Resources, has played such a huge part in making my career dreams come true. I wasn't even sure what I was looking for in a new career, I just knew I wanted something more. Sean knew exactly what would be a good fit for me and worked hard from start to finish to make sure I got the job and negotiated a salary I was very pleased with. He was efficient, thorough and never overbearing. I genuinely get the feeling that Sean cares about the people he works with. I am so thankful for his help and expert guidance. read more

Mattson resources is a mess and they are very unorganized. They will ask for your Id's Social security #. It'd a scam. I was able to get a job three days later. When I told my friend at work. She knew about them and she told me never to call them again. I went there three times no job or an interview and they have my personal info. They asked me if I was married or have kids. I seriously can not say enough good things about my experience with this AWESOME company !! MUNA IS THE BEST!!!!! She is such a great person to work with, she puts your needs and wants first 100% and help's you find the most PERFECT position for you. I highly recommend working for her ! read more

I was contacted for several positions they supposedly had available that matched my resume I went to the office was interviewed & at the end of the interview the idiot who interviewed me told me not to wear perfume it's to overpowering if she was truly a professional she should've stopped there but then she had to add " you reek of pachouli ". Who is unprofessional now??????? I understand she said that for my own benefit but the last comment she should've kept her big fat mouth shut!!! And according to her " we have jobs GALORE" that match your resume. And she introduces me to the head honcho a Dolly Parton wanna be & berates me because I stink???????? I was never called for a job she didn't like me from the get go. Luckily I found a direct hire job w/benefits on my own. Steer clear from this company its run by women & we all know how mean & judgmental women can be. read more

I applied a job opening at Mattson Resources and was quickly contacted by Sean Goulding. Sean was very helpful to connect me with the company HR and followed up on every steps of the process. I ended up with an offer from the company I applied. I really appreciate Sean's support along the way and he was efficient and provided me many good suggestion on the interview and other things. I'd recommend Sean and Mattson to other job seekers. read more

I have known Randi Carlson for over 15 years and I've been working with Mattson Resources for the past 4 years. I was very excited to reconnect with Randi when I joined my previous company. Randi is an outstanding partner to me and my organization's talent acquisition needs. As a Head of Human Resources, I am responsible for direct hire and contract hiring needs. It's extremely important for me to identify a trusted partner and advocate for my company who prioritizes our needs and is willing to go to great lengths to find the perfect candidate. She has always been such a pleasure to work with. I think of her first when I have a hiring need. I highly recommend Randi and the Mattson Resources team. read more

Very well organized and a top-notch professional agency. Lucrecia and Lori rock!

Don't waste your time with Mattson Resources. They only want more clients. All the paperwork, testing, and time it takes to interview with them is to simply get you into their system. The recruiter I had was named Beth Bransky. Worst recruiter ever!!!! Once you are her "client", don't expect to hear from her. This recruiter never returned phone calls nor did she bother reply to any emails I sent. Waste of time. read more

Tempin aint easy! This is by far my favorite temp agency. Different agencies have different values, some haven't given me the time of day, and left me feeling hopeless Lesley is my recruiter at Mattson and I think I love the agency, because when I left after meeting with her, I felt encouraged, refreshed and solid.. She genuinely spoke with me and looked over my resume. She listened to me and gave me advice on how to present myself and suggested some changes for my resume all with a very nonchalant attitude, meaning she didn't act like it was the end of the world that I was unemployed! I left feeling like I had someone on my side. This agency has great companies, they pay well and are consistent in checking in with you to see if you found employment. Thank you Mattson for being a great company! I refer you to everyone I know who is looking for work. Keep up the great service. read more

This was my first agency I worked with and all in all, they got the job done. Lia, was my recruiter and she helped so much and got me an interview with a company in less than two days. She kept me updated with everything, from paperwork, what I needed to do to get prepared and helped spice up my resume. I highly recommend this agency and ask for LIa Zabala! read more

I first heard about Mattson Resources a few months ago and thought I'd give it a try, what's there to lose? A company that does the work for you and gets you interviews?! Why not! I was paired up with Lesley, who was very welcoming and excited about getting the ball rolling asap. She even improved my resume and did what she can to make me a better candidate for jobs. Within 3 days, she had numerous offers lined up for me! Unfortunately I was swamped with school work and moving, but she never forgot about me. 2 months later, she had the perfect job lined up for me and I'm going in for my first day tomorrow! The interview went great, and everyone at the company blindly trusts Lesley's picks. She put in such a good word for me, I'm forever thankful. Every step of the way was guided for me, right down to the clothes for the interview (which btw worked since I got the job!) Overall, I have nothing but positive things to say about this company and Lesley. Professional, quick, and trustworthy. Highly Recommend them! read more

I had a great experience with Mattson resources. I was introduced to Sean Goulding through a friend. Sean definitely went above and beyond for me! He asked me about my preferences and experience, and in few months he got me an interview with the company I wanted. The job was a perfect fit for me and I got it! Sean does a great job of matching job seekers with his clients. Sean and his team really know their market and know where you will be a good fit. The interview I got was consisting of two phone interviews and an onsite interview, Sean helped me walk through all the steps of the interview from getting ready for the interview, communicating with company's HR and hiring manager, and even follow up emails. In the future, if any of my friends are looking for employment I will be sending them here. Keep up the good work! read more

Mattson is a great resource for securing quality positions whether looking for temporary or permanent employment. I was referred to Mattson resources from a friend. It was perfect timing as I was completing an internship, and needed full time employment. My recruiter was very helpful did a fantastic job of guiding me to a position quickly that was in the location and industry I was interested in. My temporary position lasted five months instead of two months. This was a perfect bridge to the full time position I recently secured. I Highly recommend their services for those in the job hunting market. or for anyone who needs or wants assistance finding gainful employment. read more

If you already have a recruiter there who promises and promises and leads you down the primrose path, WITH NO RESPONSES WHATSOEVER--forget getting someone else to help you (after seeing lots of perfect-fit openings online). Along comes another spider that contacts you...then they find out you have already talked to the first recruiter (who never responds to anything). The new person is now like a deer in the headlights - their tone changes to SHEER TERROR and they run scared, quickly getting off the phone, as if they will be headed to the electric chair for talking to you. THEN...YOU get the recruiters there who call you all nicey-nice--BUT when they see you are already in their database (while they are on the phone with you), their head spins around and THEY bite YOUR head off with their hateful, nasty remark ("I cannot work with you - you are already So-n-So's candidate!"). Hey YOU called ME--do your homework! And this was after he/she advised me that they "all work on the same openings". What is with this place? Are they all this horrible? I think so, but I'm finding out that all recruiters are nothing but liars, and this one is the WORST. I will not be contacting anyone here again and I will steer others from this place too whenever I see the opportunity. I couldn't even get the manager to return a call because of these despicable business practices. Mad? You bet I am! A little common courtesy would go a long way. But there is NONE to be found at Mattson Resources. read more

Lori Singer at Mattson Resources is an absolute pleasure to work with, as I am a recent college graduate in need of a job. Lori put me at ease after a long, frustrating job search on my own. It's only been several weeks since I turned my resume in, and she has contacted me with quite a few temp/temp-to-hire opportunities. Lori is an extremely helpful resource on many levels. She's quick to respond, helpful, personable, informative, supportive, and provides me with all the information and details I need to set me up for success. She's absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend Lori Singer's services at Mattson Resources to anyone in need of a job! read more

Found Matson Staffing shortly after my assignment ended with another agency. Though it was a rough time for me, I had the pleasure of working with Pilar Ruiz who went above and beyond in assisting me in my job search. Very attentive and personable, she made sure to keep in lose contact with me through my entire job search, which is very rare with most recruiters. Would recommend speaking to her if you happen to find yourself needing work! read more

The office and location is impressive as there seemed to be quite a number of people actively busy on the phones. I stopped by for an impromptu visit and was able to meet with Muna Darwish. While I didn't get any leads from Mattson Resources, its rating is pushed up to 3 stars only because Muna was genuinely helpful in providing career advice as well as an accurate read of the employment landscape at the moment. This informed me to continue my individual efforts rather than counting on something to happen soon. read more

Thanks to Rachel Rossi, I just finished my first week at my new job! She was so hands on and ridiculously helpful before going into interviews and meetings. She prepared me with questions, helped me with the appropriate work attire, and built my trust so quickly. Went in and was impressed after our meeting but then later when I tried contacting them about future jobs , they simply don't respond back ! How rude and unprofessional! This is their job. If they do not think there is a appropriate position you are seeking then say so and respond. Not to answer and ignore is so childlike and unprofessional; I was extremely surprised. Everyone gave such great reviews about Lynn Peterson I thought she would prove my impression of employment agencies wrong read more

Worst experience with a recruiting firm. If you are looking to switch industries don't use this place. Not only will it take you 2 weeks to actually talk to someone, they won't give you the time of the day to see how your experience can transition into a different career. read more

I've never dealt with this type of rudeness from any temp agency I've ever gone through. Natalie Z needs to get off her high horse. You need us just as much if not more than we need you that's how a temp agency works hunny! the last time I checked our hard work pays YOUR bills so check your crappy attitude and get your management skills together! I signed up with Lori, about 3 weeks ago. I had a short interview which i thought was odd. As of today No call for a job. Lots of hype that they have tons of available jobs. Come on in, and we can help! I would say Lots of BS! This was my experience with the agency. I like Yelp, because we can post true experiences which can help someone else! read more

This was probably my worst experience with a recruiting agency. First you submit your resume through indeed or zip recruiter & then are contacted about the job or other potential jobs, then after a very short phone call you meet in person to discuss options. The women I met with promised I was a great candidate & that she would find me the right job. I never heard from her regarding any opportunities. After multiple attempts of following up with her she still had nothing to provide. I recommend for job seekers to google companies in the area your interested & use linked in as a primary tool for job hunting. This company isn't reputable & is a waste of time. Value yourself by doing the leg work on your own. read more

Didn't really find this place to be any help at all in finding work. I was contacted by Corina Geyer who had me come in and meet her in person to discuss potential job opportunities. After speaking with her she explained how she gets entry level accounting positions coming though all the time and that she only requested that I take an accounting assessment test to which she would email me. After about 5 days I followed up with her on LinkedIn and asked if she emailed me the assessment test because I hadn't seen anything in my email. She replied with "not yet". I waited another week and then followed up again and she said "yea that position is gone". Not sure why she never sent over this assessment test since she told me she receives "tons" of entry level accounting positions but I really felt like this was just a complete waste of my time and her short responses didn't really make me feel like she cared about finding me any kind of work. Never heard about any potential jobs from her and overall felt like she didnt really care. I can only speak on my behalf but I didnt feel like I had a good experience and it was all in all a waste of my time. It really didnt seem like she cared about helping me and I havent heard from her in two weeks. read more
