Our experience with this Mattress Warehouse was both professional and personal. After getting our feedback from their "Bed Match" computerized mattress, our salesman Monty spent almost two hours explaining and demonstrating what we should be looking for in a new bed. It is stunning how much bed technology has changed since our last bed purchase. He showed us that we had spent years sleeping on a bed that was too firm for "side sleepers", and that we should try medium firm. The results were eye opening. Their pricing is very competitive and the buying experience is thankfully simple. Our new mattress, foundation and frame arrived on time within the scheduled window, and the truck tracking and pre-arrival phone call worked just as advertised. Set up and removal took less than a half hour, and the delivery team was efficient and careful - no marred walls or scratched floors. It has been less than a week since the new bed arrived, and so far it is living up to our high expectations. read more

Disaster mattress not addressing my needs but causing extreme Back neck shoulder and issues caps or buttons made on the mattress and Springs from the mattress pressing into these area. I have bought two Tempur Pedic pillows from here. The associate told me that the price was $150 for each. I have paid with one of my credit cards. I was told that the pillows will arrive to the store in two weeks or so. When I came to the store to pick them up I found that they not only did not arrive at all but they weren't even ordered. The store associate, Tony, did not know how to do it properly on their system. Finally, after two more weeks the pillows arrived, we went there to pick up but I have seen that the price it was actually $125 per each. I've pointed that to store associate (Tony) and he said that I will get my 11111111435 refunded on my credit card. After more than a month I still did not get my refund, I have called the store and Tony told me that he will check and he will call me back. He never called back. I was calling the store again after a day or so but nobody answered nor called me back. Such a disappointment. I would give 2 stars but the pillow seem to be good quality. Thank you! read more

TLDR: Ok pricing, HORRIBLE LOGISTICS. Pricing was better than what I've found online which is a great plus. HOWEVER, the sales team did not inform me about the logistics of the delivery. I emphasized that my move-in was in the afternoon before I bought the mattress and base. The sales person told me that it won't be a problem. Here is when the issues start: The night before my move-in (7 pm) I get a call that the mattress will arrive 7:30 am - 10:30 am. I don't get the keys to my unit until noon. I call them, and they said they have no control over delivery times. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN RELAYED BEFORE THE PURCHASE SO THAT I COULD HAVE HAD IT DELIVERED THE DAY AFTER. Morning of move-in, delivery person calls me at 6:30 am to confirm, I told her the situation, she says that it's ok, they can deliver the next day. Perfect, right? NO. Manish calls me to tell me that they can't deliver it on Thursday and that the earliest would be Saturday.... or they can do a 'special delivery' mattress on Thursday and the base on Saturday date (how is it a special delivery when they were the ones that weren't clear about delivery). Apparently, there's a 48 hours process if a delivery isn't completed (I'm suspicious about this - read below paragraph). I opt with having all on Saturday, what's 2 nights without a bed at least it's all in one delivery. I get a call on Friday afternoon that the earliest they could deliver is on Wednesday of next week. WHAT THE F@#&!? HOW IS A MATTRESS AND BASE, READY FOR WEDNESDAY NOT READY FOR SATURDAY? My bet is that they sold the base to someone else so now I have to wait longer. This is unacceptable. I completely regret buying here and will not be recommending it to anyone. read more

I had the absolutely best experience I could imagine. I already had a mattress in mind that I'd seen at Belfort outlet, as a display-only model and the showroom didn't have it and that salesman (let me emphasize sales guy in the car-dealer sales way) told me it was an old model and nothing I tested felt as good so I left. I ALMOST decided on the display model but thought I'd see if they had something similar at the Sterling Mattress warehouse before I bought it (it already had a stain too btw). I showed Minosh (sorry if I'm spelling that wrong) a picture of the tag and he said they have it. I laid down and it was the one!! I've never had a new mattress my whole life and I'm pretty old LOL, only hand-me-downs and super old so I decided to splurge for once. It was pricey yes, but it will last me forever. Minosh was super nice and gave me a deal on the box spring. Plus they delivered in 2 days (and took my old set up). Even had some difficulty on the delivery (box spring too big to fit the corner of my stairs) so they left and I had to get a split box spring to fit, and I called Minosh and it was delivered the next day, and he didn't charge me extra. Minosh was wonderful and I HIGHLY recommend you go to this location and ask for him. I don't understand the low ratings on here, because they were 10/10 for me! read more

What a great experience! We had to cancel a purchase from a store at the mall because they rescheduled our delivery 3xs. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and asked if we needed help. We were helped by a lady ( I wish I remembered her name) and she was great to work with. She saw our frustration from our previous purchase at the mall and she helped us as best as she could. We found a bed that we loved, we purchased it on Saturday and we asked to please be delivered as soon as possible since we didn't have a bed. It was here on Monday morning! no rescheduling to deal with. So happy we came here! read more

Upsate to the debacle before where they wouldn't honor our warranty: we went to small claims court. The district manager who wouldn't return my emails showed up for them, which says something about a company when someone at that level has nothing better to do with his time! Anyways, we were in front of the judge for about 2 minutes: Manager: their mattress is stained. Judge: do you have a picture? Manager: no. Judge: then you lose. *gavel* I obviously brought pictures of the unstained mattress, and the judge even laighed, asking what a stain has to do with this clearly defective mattress. Mattress Warehouse, you wasted your time and mine by making this go all the way to court ... the epitome of awful service and business practices. Now let's see if they actually pay or I have to get the court involved in that, too! read more

Worse than a used car sales lot. I purchased a mattress, adjustable bed frame, two pillows and a mattress protector from Monty on Saturday October 21 at the Sterling location. I took the two pillows and mattress protector home with me the same day, mattress and frame were delivered on Monday, October 23. Total sum came very close to $4000 with tax, mattress alone was $1780 without tax. In the store, my friend and I were very specific about having NO memory foam materials in the bedding since I am reactive. When we laid on the mattresses to try them out, we tried the pillows along with them as well. Not once did the salesperson indicate that the pillows contain memory foam at the core. After taking the pillows and protector home, I realized that the pillow contains memory foam and that the protector is not an encasement protector that I want for my mattress. The items were unopened and unused. I took everything back on Tuesday, wanting to return them for a refund. The salesperson Harron was new, he kept calling Monty and his district manager to verify information and to tell him what to do. He made numerous phone calls and kept my friend and I there after store hours. While at the store, I also noticed that the very same mattress that I had paid for was at a lower price, $1249.99 for a king size mattress. Harron initially said that it was a buy one get one promotion after I pointed out the price difference. But nowhere on the price tag it said anything about buy one get one. Harron gave me the phone to speak to Monty, I explained the situation to him over the phone. He instructed me to leave everything with Harron and he would process the refund and the price adjustment the very next day since Harron was unable to do so. I also got text confirmation from Monty that he would process the refund and the adjustment the next day. Harron felt uncomfortable for me to leave the items there, he called the district manager, Jeff, to notify him that we were leaving the items there. Jeff stated that I had to take the pillows with me and I was able to get a refund only for the mattress protector, on the grounds that I purchased another one. When I refused, he rudely and repeatedly told me that the mattress warranty would be void if we got stains on it and we must purchase a mattress protector in order for the warranty to be valid. He also stated that Monty should not have said he could refund the money for the pillows to me and that he was going to talk to him about it. It was past 9pm at this time, I did not feel comfortable being in the store any longer. I left the items there and told Harron that since Monty said he would take care of everything the next day, I felt confident to leave the items there. Monty has not called me back. I have texted him a couple times, following up on the progress. He texted back, saying that he was working on it still and that he would call. He has not called back two days later. The very next day, I filled out a "Contact Us" form on the Mattress Warehouse's website. No one has contacted me since, and it is Thursday October 26 today. I called the customer service line 3 times now. I spoke with Kelly, who was hesitant to even give me her name and said that the district manager is the one handling complaint. I was insistent with speaking with someone at the corporate level. I left a voice message with Mr. Gibbs, director of Customer Service, have not yet received a call back. Last time I tried calling, the call was transferred to him but it stayed silent. Overall, I thought the entire situation was handled poorly and I have completely lost confidence in this company to rectify the situation. read more

My husband and I went to this store on Friday 10/24/2014 to purchase a king sized mattress. We were generally pleased with the experience and found a mattress we liked at an acceptable price. We asked when could it be delivered, and the salesperson (Matt) said Saturday (next day) confidently. By the time we got home, Matt called to say that the box springs were on back order. They would get them Monday and deliver Tuesday. I made arrangements with my job to be home on Tuesday to receive the mattress, but never received a call with the delivery time. I called the store when it opened and a different person informed me that the delivery was scheduled for Wednesday. I voiced my displeasure with her that no one informed me of the change in the date. She was generally unconcerned. My husband called back and also attempted to escalate the matter since, as of Monday night, we had no bed to sleep in (gave the old one to a family member). He was told that the delivery was scheduled for Wednesday all along (Matt was lying to us, apparently). All they offered was to refund the $70 delivery charge. Morale of the story: BEFORE PAYING, request that the sales associate confirm inventory stock with the warehouse. Unfortunately, once you pay, there is no other recourse except for their 30 day store credit policy. If I had my druthers, I would have gotten a full refund and shopped elsewhere. For an $1,100 purchase, the customer service was unacceptable. I will NEVER shop there again! read more

The primary reason for the two star is their awful delivery service. The sales person was polite and patient as my wife tried numerous beds and understood her need to come back later to test the mattress again. However, after we made the purchase, the friendly customer service ended. We were guaranteed a 3-hour delivery window. The day arrived, we received a call with an 11:00am - 2:00pm window. We cleaned out the room, moved furniture to be ready for them at 11:00am. Of course, 2:00pm rolls around and no delivery. I called the number that gave me the window before and was told they were running behind and they'd be here in an hour. 3:15 rolls around and still no delivery. I called again....another 45 minutes...4:00pm. Naturally, 4:00pm comes and goes with no mattress. At 4:15 we finally got a robocall that gave us a 15 minute notice they should be here. Finally, at 4:30 they arrived. The delivery men apologized, were polite, and were quick with the set up. They were out the door in 10 minutes. Insane. They have the manifest...they have my number. Why didn't they call me when they knew they were going to be late? Seems like the friendly, nice customer service thing to do. Recommend looking for a store where you are treated like a good customer all the way through delivery and beyond. Of course, if you have all day to dedicate to waiting for failed promises for product delivery, then this is the place for you. read more

We had the worst experience ever. We waited for 20 mins and no one came to help us. We just stood there while the guy chatted up with this lady all the time. We made our selection and had one question before we billed, both the men in the store were still with the same lady customer and didnt bother to come over or apologize for making us wait - not even a 'we will be with you soon'. We worked with Andrew and Vijaya, and both were knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy. Doing a bit of research beforehand I knew what we wanted and my overall budget. Horrible customer service. Delivery was a disaster. Promised to have old mattress removed but the delivery team asked for money. I will say, the salesperson came the following day and removed the old mattress. We found the mattress we purchased to be very uncomfortable, however, we did not inquire until after to stated period. When we did call the Regional Manager he NEVER returned our calls, even after coming into the showroom. After four inquiries we finally gave up. Bought my son 2 mattresses for his bunk bed few months ago.. by now I can say that the mattresses are alright..I have back problems and I put my son to bed every night and for me the mattress is not very comfortable but it's not bad either. But my son says it's comfortable for him and that's what matters the most! Btw my husband and I really did appreciate Monty's help. He was very patient answering all our questions and was friendly with the whole family. I'm giving the store 4 stars mainly for customer service rather than the mattresses we bought. read more

My boyfriend and I initially went to the store 1/21/16 and the salesman was very helpful and friendly. He offered next day delivery but due to impending snow storm we decided to have our bed frame delivered the following Monday, 1/25/16. Monday they called and had to reschedule (which was reasonable, the roads were still bad.) We asked to have it delivered Tuesday, 1/26/16 instead. When Tuesday afternoon rolled around and I still had not received a phone call I called the delivery head quarters where they told me my scheduled delivery wasn't until Wednesday. Unfortunately due to our work schedule this wouldn't work so we pushed it back yet again to the following Monday (2/1/16). On Monday I once again never received a phone call so I called the delivery office again and only at this time was I informed the bed frame was on back order until March. Obviously I was very frustrated at this point so I gave up and got a refund. When I asked for the refund at the store they didn't even attempt to find out why I was canceling my order. read more

I recently purchased a bed from this store and have been very pleased with bed. BUT the customer service at this store is awful. We initially went to this store to just check out some beds with no intention of buying that day. The bed we ending up buying was over $3K and we have been very pleased with the bed. When we purchased the bed the saleswoman (Indian Lady) promised us 2 free pillows worth $160. We left without thinking about the pillows so we went back the next day and she told us that she only promised one pillow. So without arguing we said OK and took the one pillow. Our salesmen (Antonio) told us we could buy the warranty for the adjustable base within 30 days after delivery. So I said fine we can wait two weeks and come back. I went to go buy the warranty for the adjustable base and the saleswoman (same Indian Lady) told me they don't sell the warranty after the delivery. So I explained to her how Antonio told us we could come back in 30 days but she still said "no". Overall I would say these sale associates provide terrible customer service and are not accommodating in the least. I would understand if the things we were asking for were not discussed previously but both sales associates were involved and have failed in this situation. I DO NOT recommend this store to anyone looking to buy a mattress. They are just looking for sale and will not provide customer service after your purchase. (Especially the Indian Lady) read more

Monty was my sales associate and he was able to work with me to find a top-quality mattress within my budget. He took the time to show me my options and even though he had other customers, I never had to wait for him. He promised me next-day delivery, and he meant it !! I bought the mattress around 4 p.m. and it was on my bed at 7:30 a.m. the next morning !! I purchased a mattress from this store and along with it I purchased a Full size mattress protector. We never got to use the mattress protector so it was lying untouched unopened as is. When I went in to return it, the salesman there just drove me away citing no returns policy ... as if I was trying to return the $850 mattress. If they did not want to refund for the mattress protector .. they could have atleast offered an exchange for something else .. but their attitude was like .. just leave .. dont bother us after purchase... Me and my husband went to this store on the Labor Day, hopping to get best service at the best price.... We purchased 2 queen size mattress+1 king size mattress with all frames+3 sleepshields with total amount of 1.922 USD. The delivery date was scheduled on 09/09/15, but it wasn't delivered on time. On the next day we went to Alexandria branch to find out what happend, but they found out that the king size mattress was out of stock. In the meantime we decided to keep (2 queen size mattresses+2 frames) and cancel (the 1 king size mattress+1 frame+ 3 sleepshields.) Finally, the 2 queen mattresses were delivered on 09/09/15. Since then we are calling every week to the store about our refund of (the 1 king size mattress+1 frame+ 3 sleepshields.) for amount of 1.000$, but we received always one answer "The corporate is processing your refund?!.......they will send you an email. We never received any e-mail from them...... Today is 10/08/15 we didn't received our whole refund. The costumer service is horrible, they never call you back for any clarification. We think it will be our first and last experience with "Mattress warehouse". Order number 1056186. read more
