POOR EXPERIENCE with MATTRESS WAREHOUSE -- Carlisle Pike…read more I want to share my poor experience with the Mattress Warehouse on the Carlisle Pike, across from Wegmans. I purchased a specialized adjustable bed with a remote control that raises and lowers the head and feet. The motorized unit later broke while the bed was under warranty. Mattress Warehouse would not resolve the problem unless I paid an additional fee and disposed of the old, heavy bed base myself. They also would not refund my money. I ultimately took the matter to court, and the judgment was entered in my favor. No customer should have to go through what I went through to resolve a warranty dispute. Based on my personal experience, I would not shop at this Mattress Warehouse again. BE CAREFUL!!

My rating is based on the process involved for returns/refunds…read more As most others stated, we were greeted by a friendly, non-pushy salesperson, and allowed to browse at our leisure without any pressure. We were shopping for a new mattress (king= 2 twin xl, and adjustable bases), and nothing against bob's, but the whole mattress shopping process sucks. How can you lay on something for 5-10 minutes and determine if it will be comfortable for 6-8 hours of sleep at night? We settled on the "plush" version of their sky memory foam, (temperpedic cloud knock off). No issues with the delivery or set up, however the delivery fee is 10% of your purchase price, no matter what you buy. They say you can pick up, but it has to be from one of their distribution centers, not the stores, since the stores don't keep any stock. After the mandatory minimum 30 days, the mattress had not gotten any softer. The other memory foams we tried out, got softer about 5-10 minutes after laying on them with body heat, but not these. Both my wife and I noticed no improvement with achy backs, or tossing and turning at night. We followed the "break in" advice from the salesperson (let the kids jump o them, crawl around on them on knees and elbows, etc) but still no improvement. In order to return them, we had to call customer service first, where they really wanted us to just exchange them for a different mattress. Unfortunately there were not any others that we were interested in, so they started the refund process. After the customer service rep got everything done on her end, she gave me my return authorization number, then told me I needed to contact the store, to process the actual refund, and schedule the pick up of the mattresses. We are keeping our power bases, no issues with them, but went to one of the "big name mattress stores" and found what we hope are going to be better mattresses.

I am disabled and have a hard time finding mattresses for my needs. I finally purchased from here…read more They made me wait a month for delivery then canceled the order 5 days before. The person who messaged me was dismissive of my disability needs and tried sending "something similar" rather than give my refund. I did get the refund but had to pay hundreds more elsewhere because I had waited for Labor Day sales. When the refund came I had to spend another half hour in a chat with them because knowing all this they still tried to keep the delivery fee. I had paid for 2 deliveries, they gave me about 20% back. Very shady, very poor customer service. A waste of your time. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

As a child I can remember going to Eddies every year for my Easter suit and school clothes. When you went to Eddies, you KNEW that you were going to come out of there with the sharpest fashions! Now that I am an adult; Mr. Ruth continues to push boundaries, and he doesn't disappoint. If he doesn't have it, he and his AMAZING STAFF will find it for you. After living in Philadelphia for 15 years; when I would come home to visit; my first stop off the train was to Eddies, because he carries those sheer dress sox that EVERY man wants! I would then go upstairs to get a fly hair cut from one of his barbers. Mr. Ruth is all about "one stop" shopping; and that is EXACTLY what you get when you stop by Eddies Men's store! When I found out that Eddies opened a furniture store; I had to check it out, because If you've ever experienced the attention that you got from visiting his clothing store, I could only imagine the treatment you'd get from vising his furniture gallery...and to no surprise the excellence carried over! When you walk into his showroom; the display is breath taking! You feel like a kid in a candy store! Within seconds I was approached by one of his sales team (Arthur) who with his southern charm exhibited the excellence that is only becoming of the Eddie Ruth experience! Just when you think you've found the piece that you like, there's something else that catches your eye from the back corner across the room; and with his special financing; he blows his competition out of the water! With financing better than Rent-A-Center, and teaming up with Ashley Stewart; Eddie Ruth has proven yet again, that he IS A FORCE TO BE RECONNED WITH! He is truly a Harrisburg icon, and a Legend! There is NOTHING this man can't do! Maurice A. Lomax

We left feeling good about our purchase. Couple of days later, the delivery guys came, set it up in fifteen minutes. Done! We're really happy and very comfortable on our new bed, like never before. That's the long and short of it all. I highly recommend this company. The establishment was bright and very spacious, as most furniture stores are; no worries about physical distancing even if there were other people. We were assured that all the displays were sanitized, so we had no reservations about trying out most of the mattresses. Just so happened that my wife and I were the only ones there, so we had David's undivided attention. Really, we never thought to consider all those things that were explained to us. We never felt rushed or that it was hard selling. It was really a friendly discussion based on personal experience. You can tell that he had a passion for it, and that his purpose was to help people find what they needed. All in all, we left feeling that we made a friend and got a really good deal at the same time. I've always thought that a bed was just another piece of furniture, but really, it's an investment in well-being. We saved around $3400 on a Francesca mattress with an adjustable base, and IT IS AWESOME! Thank you, David. Mattress Firm is the way to go, folks!

The key to the whole process was our sales rep, Blake S., who was patient and responsive, never pressuring us the least. And beyond that, since the online order delivery process meant it was not delivered by MW's staff, Blake had it sent to the store, then came to our home to deliver it and handle the setup personally. I am beyond happy we stuck with Blake and the brick and mortar store for this purchase.
