Yes, he does weigh more than I do, however he's a slim guy. The problem doesn't resolve during the day, when I fold clothes on the bed, my hand, and the clothes, sing into that spot! We, of course complained about this issue, to no real avail. They would take back the mattress of course, but only on an exchange, as we knew going in. However, this is a bit different! Checking with the mattress company they do offer refunds, however this particular store will not! So we are now buying a mattress they don't carry. We asked: can you order our choice of a new mattress? Answer. No we can't do that! So now we are left to eat the price of what can easily be seen and felt by ourselves, as s defective mattress! As I said: BUYER BEWARE!!

We found the mattress we had been looking for and the sales staff was able to answer our questions that we had. We appreciated that they didn't try to persuade us to by another brand--a store we had previously gone to tried to do that so we left. Since it was President's Day weekend the mattress was on sale. They also threw in free delivery and take away of our old mattress. In addition, we got comped 2 pillows, sheets and a mattress protector. The mattress was delivered the following week and we are very happy with it! I also want to compliment the sales and delivery staff--they were nice to deal with and very professional.

Boulevard Home's billing department is one of the worst I've dealt with. About eight years ago, we…read morepurchased a couch and a bed and paid thousands of dollars over time. Even after we had completely paid everything off, they kept telling us we still owed a balance. We went into the store and asked them to print every statement because our bank records clearly showed the account had been paid in full. Instead of resolving the issue, we were told their billing system had changed and they no longer had the records. I was furious. I escalated the issue and spoke with multiple people, but nobody was willing to help or take responsibility. The only response we got was essentially, "If you think you're right, sue us." A company that loses its own payment records and then expects the customer to deal with the consequences is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Boulevard Home.

We had a great experience with F Row / Denver Mattress in Draper, UT. So when we recently moved to…read moreMesquite, NV we visited the STG location. The sales rep was great to work with, (although I am told she no longer works there) and we ended up spending almost $8,000. Despite this, we still had to pay an almost $350 delivery fee. We had multiple deliveries due to items being back ordered. This is where my rating goes from 5 stars, as I think their furniture is good quality, to 3 stars, as the delivery people they contract out to are awful. Who delivers furniture at 6:15am? When I expressed my concern to Liz, her reply was "yeah, they like to get started early." Since we have already been waiting two months for this piece, we had no choice but to agree to an early delivery. Three different deliveries and not one was inside the promised time frame. The language barrier was also a bit challenging. We have more furniture to buy, but due to the delivery companies they use, and expensive costs associated, we probably will not buy from this location again. I asked the Liz to contact me about my concerns. I feel a credit of our delivery fee is the least they can do, but never heard back. Maybe corporate gives them a delivery budget, so they are forced to utilize cheap delivery services, but when someone spends this amount of money AND is being charged for delivery, they need to do better. Cheaping out has cost you a customer.

This was going to be a good experience, right? When I went in, the consignment lady was so rude when I asked a few more questions and kept saying, "Well you didn't talk to me about this! I contacted Urban Renewal on February 23 about consigning several high-end pieces from a home I am…read moreclearing out for a deceased family member. I do not live locally and was only in town for a short period of time handling the estate, so timing and communication were important. The home contains quality furnishings, including a Taylor King sectional, a custom Vanguard dresser, a large Restoration Hardware rug, and other high-end items. After nearly three weeks of back-and-forth communication, they finally were going to come out on March 13 and picked up only two items--a sideboard and a rug. To my surprise, after our conversation with the driver on his way, they then declined the rug. I decided to tell him not to even come, and I would not be doing business with them and that their business structure was extremely unprofessional and excruciatingly painful to deal with. During prior communication, they asked what price I hoped to get for the rug. I suggested $800 for a $3000 rug as a starting point, fully acknowledging that I did not expect to recover what I originally paid. I specifically asked for their professional input since this is their business and they know the resale market. Instead of providing guidance, I was simply told my price "wasn't their happy price." That was the extent of the explanation. The entire process was unnecessarily frustrating. Communication is routed through a receptionist who acts as a gatekeeper, making it impossible to speak directly with the person actually making the consignment decisions. Everything is filtered through short emails or secondhand messages, which creates confusion and delays. For a business that relies on consignors bringing them quality merchandise, the lack of transparency, poor communication, and inefficient process is surprising. Clearing out an estate is already difficult, and this experience only made it more frustrating. I would not recommend working with this company. Their communication structure and overall business approach are not consumer-friendly.
