we bought living room furniture at the St. George location! we needed to purchase additional furniture so we called our salesman to order but he was not answering, it took him forever to respond! so additional furniture was purchased but had to be ordered. 3-weeks after it was paid and we were told by the salesman after checking in to find out ETA were told that it's not available any longer ! so he called the other stores and found one floor model in Vegas and had one transferred and delivered to me. we received the ottoman but it was dirty and it look used. we were very disappointed, we should not have to pay full price. hopefully someone from the store will contact us and offer us a discount??? so with my experience, we will never buy anything else from them again! we definitely do not recommend them! read more

Boulevard Home Furnishings, as I know it, is the big player in town for furniture. They have everything-the biggest selection and the largest showroom-fully equipped with roaming sales people. One of those salespeople noticed me and my wife looking at couches and was quick to help us out. However, her lack of personality and human connection left us not really wanting to give her the sale. I know, that sounds petty, but we were following her through the store, nearly running, as she very quickly took us to the section we needed to be in. Then she stared at us while we looked at a few options. In the end, we opted to keep looking elsewhere and found a local furniture dealer that was much more excited about earning our business and had much better prices. Recently purchased a BBQ from BLVD. Initially, there were a few speed bumps along the way (suffice to say we did not have a functioning BBQ after being delivered). BLVD was terrific in listening (really listening) to our concerns. Tyler took the time to understand the situation and implemented a solution in very short order. Jacob from BLVD's CB Department and Brian from Delivery came out and handled the situation at an extremely competent and professional level. We purchased a washer and dryer from Boulevard Home and have had problems with the dryer since we got it. it's been serviced several times in the couple years we've had it. It recently threw a huge metal piece out of the drum that tangled up in our clothes and destroyed them. I called a few weeks ago to have it serviced and never got a call back. We've had to leave several messages to finally get a someone on the phone to schedule an appointment on 1/21 (finally almost 4 weeks later) service department said I needed to talk to the finance departmemt to confirm the appointment. Service department told me my account was closed (not true, I still owe them money) and she had no idea why I would've needed to talk to her. 4 days later, they call back to say I needed to make my payment before they could schedule the appointment, so I paid online like I always do. Service department then let me know that since I paid online, they won't know that the payment clears until Tuesday so they would have to reschedule my appointment (on Wednesday) to give other guests a chance to have my appointment that was already scheduled for me. Why am I not as important as the next person? They pushed my appointment off to the 4th and let me know that I would also "probably be charged $194 service fee if it's not a mechanical issue. Weve had to wait for "warranty service" for over 2 months before this time. I will never buy from this place again. The finance department was clueless and service department has been a total joke Through the whole process and they sold me a lemon. Not impressed at all. Just bad service all around. read more

This review is in regards to a microwave purchase with a 5 year extended warranty. The microwave started having issues in July 2022 and it was only 2 years old. We requested service under the extended warranty. We had a tech here 4 times over 3 months and still didn't have a functioning microwave. They apparently only have one tech that can work on microwaves so we would get scheduled 2 weeks out every time after waiting for parts. The final straw was when they had the part but no tech to install it for over 3-4 weeks. I finally demanded a refund on the microwave. They offered store credit for the microwave and the warranty. 4 months of aggravation. Very disappointed in them. Moral of this story is don't buy a microwave extended warranty from them because they can't back it up. We went elsewhere for our new one. read more

I have never written a negative review before, but our latest experience with BOULEVARD HOME FURNISHINGS in St. George, UT, was so disappointing I feel I have to be honest about our experience. Less than 2 years ago we paid $8k for a FLEXSTEEL motion leather sofa and loveseat. It was beautiful and fit our room, so we splurged. A few weeks ago we noticed the padding was not holding up in the seats so we looked underneath and discovered that the wood under the seat had splintered. Splintered!! We're not big people, no kids or grandkids around, no pets. FLEXSTEEL has a 5 year warranty so we contacted BOULEVARD HOME and just got lip service, same rehearsed answer over and over. They offered to have someone come look at it for a fee of over $150! what?!!! We had no choice so the guy comes out and says he's never seen anything like it. He can fix it for over $600 so what about the FLEXSTEEL warranty and the BOULEVARD HOME customer service? We called FLEXSTEEL and got no further with them. After 40 years of shopping at BOULEVARD HOME I'm sorry to say I'm majorly disappointed they care nothing about customer service or working with us. There are plenty of other furniture stores and manufacturers around now, so buyer beware! I sadly cannot recommend BOULEVARD HOME OR FLEXSTEEL. read more

I've bought a few things from here and they don't disappoint, but the service definitely does. I bought a refrigerator that in less than 2 years needed repairs on it. That's to be expected so I bought the warranty just in case so the repairs are covered. The problem is the level of communication that their reps have had with me. Sheryl in particular. Her failure to communicate has caused me nothing but issues from the first time I ever talked with her. I eventually asked to speak with her supervisor and she told me he would get back to me yet never did. I finally called and got in touch with someone else (baker) who was far more help. Sadly, it took their repairs dept over a month to get my refrigerator fixed and now I still have to wait another week to even get it back. This has been a horrible experience with them and I won't bother to even go back for anything. It's not worth it considering that they don't actually care about their customers. I also bought a memory foam mattress topper from them that had to be shipped to me, and they didn't even send the right size so yet again I had to do even more work just to get the item I paid for. So honestly, don't expect much from them once you've made the purchase. They don't care beyond that. read more

I am not one who writes a bad review until you purchase a $3,000.00 matterss brand name Sherwood, we did not even have it a month & the side of the mattress has blown out & caved in. We purchased the matters in October & never received it until the end of November. It was lost in the delivery computer system to our home, did not receive it until end of November. We received a phone call from Susan 2 months later calling to say I am just checking to see if you received your mattress. We had to buy a certain expensive mattress pad cover from the store in Cedar for the Warranty so we purchased the 10 Yr. Warranty for the mattress & now they are saying that the Manufacture is not going to cover the mattress because it is blown out from sitting on it. I don't even weigh 130 pounds & my husband is not a heavy man. We are now in April & finally after months of emailing, calling, calling I called today & the manufacture is NOT going to warranty the mattress. Boulevard Furniture said it is not their responsibility to cover the mattress that they sold us. This is not right!!!! I was told now I have to contact the Manufacture & talk to them in the meantime we are still making monthly payments on a mattress this not any good to anyone. This is the worst Customer Service we have ever had & from them in particular. I have called & emailed so many times, they even lost the paperwork for us to make payments did not even show that we had made the purchase, I had to go home & email a copy of the Invoice to the Cedar store for them to pull us up in their system & even then they could not find our account. Everyone I talk to in the Cedar Store & St.George store say oh we are so sorry, no they are not sorry. I cant even begin to say how frustrated we are at this time. It seems like once the purchase was made they don't even care about the customer anymore. We should have read the reviews before buying from them. We are literally making payments on a mattress that is not any good so it does not go against our credit. We will not be back ever again. After reading all the reviews it seems like Boulevard is very famous for this type of terrible customer service. We will never recommend Boulevard to anyone. read more

I am not happy with my Purple 4 mattress. I have had it for approximately 14-15 months. 12 months in to owning the mattress, I put a memory foam on top because my back was hurting me every morning hoping this would help. Nope. I paid $4000 for this mattress thinking it would last much longer and be a dream mattress. Nope. I called Purple and they told me I had to go through Blvd because they sold me the mattress. My request for a warranty or exchange has been declined by Blvd. I am not claiming manufacturer's defece. The mattress is SUPER uncomfortable. I have also called Purple Customer Support and they told me they will not do anything. The service department is AWFUL!! I have tried three times to have our dishwasher repaired and every single time, they don't fix the problem, make a new problem, or "don't have the right part". They NEVER return phone calls even when you talk to them and they say they will. I've left messages for managers and never hear back. We had the money to pay for the fridge but since it was 0% interest for a number of months, we just decided to do monthly payments for the sake of cash flow and savings in our bank account. Big mistake. I had my suspicions that they would find some sleazy way to get more money out of us behind our backs. What happened? For some reason, the payment didn't go through in June, even though we had the money and we were never late. I don't know why, but you'd think they would tell us about it. Nope. About a month later, we got a letter that they charged us $30 late fee. Then my wife called and, according to my request, requested to pay off the full amount of the fridge (I mean, our trust is gone). We were informed that July's payment also failed, and that they had been charging us interest. The late fee was now $300. And HOW WERE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT IF NOBODY TELLS US?!!! Fortunately, she was able to wave off the fees, so what am I complaining about, right? Well, if she hadn't called, we would have never known. And they probably wouldn't have waived it off. Subscriptions and recurring payments is one thing, but to charge late fees behind our backs and charge interest on it, and then inform us a whole month later? Come on, man. That's unethical. It's dishonest. It's withholding crucial information from us and then punishing us for not knowing. I could tell from the inflection in his voice he was not only lying but was totally embarrassed about having to lie. Telling me La Z Boy had a lifetime guarantee was misleading and unlawful at best. At worst....a bald faced lie. I called La Z Boy HQ and nothing the salesperson told me about the warranty was true. Repeat nothing! All I can say is: BUYER BEWARE! Addendum: A manager did return my call and offered to credit my account the restocking fee. Some of these issues could be improved with more stringent training and supervision. We purchased a small sectional that, upon inspection after delivery, had many quality issues. BLVD Home replaced one section and then a repairman came out to fix it. When he couldn't repair it as it needed to be, we contacted our salesperson who helped us in finding a higher quality sectional. I had a full Kitchen Apliance Delivery scheduled for 23April. I called the Blvd on 22April and told the rude employee that I needed to cancel the delivery and reschedule. The next morning a Blvd Delivery Driver called me to tell me he was on the way with my delivery. I told him I had cancelled the day before, and he said No One told him. A few minutes later the Blvd Dishwasher Installer called me, telling me he was on his way. I told him I had cancelled the day before, and he also told me no one told him or his Boss. The day my delivery comes with my $2500 Refrigerator and I hear one delivery person tell the other"It gets a little tight here by the doorknob", then I hear the Fridge hit the doorknob. They don't say anything. It left a small dent on the top left door. That was something I could deal with. They leave, I open the Fridge and immediately see what appear to be scratches on the area in front of the crisper drawers. I rubbed them to see if it was just a scuff and could feel that it was scratches. The bottom freezer opens unevenly and acts as if it's going to fall off. I immediately go into the store in Mesquite where I had Special Ordered the fridge and waited a month for it and show them the pictures. Repair and service contacts me saying they'll "take some money off of my balance". Absolutely not. I want the fridge I purchased that didn't have a dent on the top, a defective freezer, and scratches inside. I was told a new Fridge would be ordered. Kendall from Service&Repair called me on 22May to tell me the fridge can be delivered on 23May. I don't get a time window just the 23rd. I wait and finally call at 11AM to confirm delivery and I was told it was scheduled and Kendall would call me as soon as she got off the phone. Kendall TEXTED me at 11:20 to apologize that "there was an error with the delivery of my fridge and she was trying to get me on the schedule ASAP." I texted Kendall and asked for a time because I have an appointment that day. TWO HOURS later I called Kendall and once again she TEXTS me saying she can't give me a delivery time, much like the time I didn't receive for the no show no call delivery that day. I expressed my frustrations via text, because Kendall would NOT answer her phone for me instead texting me each time I called, and she told me Delivery times are confirmed the night before deliveries. Now I allegedly have a delivery in two days that may or may not arrive. I will not purchase anything else from the Blvd nor will any family members. read more

After buying a home here, we wanted to purchase quality furniture. Before we knew about Blvd, we even drove to Las Vegas, without success and deliveries that made sense with our schedule. But when we found Blvd, we were able to choose almost an entire household from pieces they had in stock. I believe in second chances so I've tried more then once to patron this store. In this instance I bought a leather couch. The delivery team discovered damage upon delivery and offered to have it "fixed". I chose not to go that route because last repair on furniture I bought took 5 months. Upon leaving to pick out a new couch I see they damaged the door frame to my house and didn't even alert me! I went to the store to report the damage and buy another leather couch. The following week they were to pick up couch #1 and deliver couch #2. Upon delivering couch #2 I had to tell the delivery team (who had the couch upside down to remove the back rests) that they missed the blanket (the headrest part of a $2800 couch laying on the asphalt). But, that's nothing compared to the 2" hole that was discovered by the delivery team! I asked them to leave it in my house so I'd have something to sit until I get another couch. When I went back to Boulevard the representative at customer service was not apologetic (even with this being the second couch with damage). She literally with attitude asked "what do you want me to do about it?" I stated I wanted a replacement. She said they didn't have one and asked why I had the couch. I explained I didn't plan for two damaged pieces of furniture and I need something to sit on. She said they don't let customers hold on to furniture anymore because sometimes it takes months to get another one, and would get back to me. I left, and less than 2 hours later went to get a refund and return the couch because I was unhappy. She didn't contact my salesman, didn't ask why, or try to make it right. Just slid my folder across the counter and said she couldn't set up a return because it doesn't show delivered yet. I walked out for the 3 time in two days without amends being made. It's now been 12 days since the damage to my house and NOT ONE CALL to repair it! The salesmen are great and do their job but the backend needs major training and improvements! read more

We bought a sectional in September with electronic recliners, the first time it went out it started smoking and heavy burn smell, we immediately unplugged the chair hoping not to start the chair on fire. We called BlvdHome and Jason a technician came out and determined it was the switch that had to be replaced. Three weeks later we are on switch #3 and Jan in the Distribution Center called me over dramatic because I wanted to get the sectional out of my home due to a Fire hazard. The only recourse they have given is replace the SWITCH and now both motors, or we can pay a restocking fee of over $700 for a 7 month old used sectional, (I didn't think they sold USED FURNITURE), but mind you it's only available for 1 year so anything that happens after this your SOL. I have purchased an extremely large amount of $$$ over the last 10 years with the BlvdHome and thought the Customer Service (leave msgs. and they are not returned and then you feel like your disturbing the ladies coffee break in the Repair department) I have left messages with the Store Manager Jason Peterson and he hasn't had the courtesy to call back either. I guess keeping the Customer HAPPY is not a priority with the BlvdHome, won't be spending anymore $$ here and will tell Family and Friends to Stay Away. Drive the extra miles to Vegas or Salt Lake. Received a TEXT to my Phone messages and when asked who it was, nothing. This is how they perform there CUSTOMER SERVICE thru a TEXT!!!! We were helped out by Dret, not only did she help us solve our problem, she stayed after her time there to make sure we got our whole new couch setup, delivery scheduled, and our financing moved over to to the new couch. No. Just NO. Boulevard Home should change their slogan to Pay More, Get Less. Don't fall for that "hometown" talk, it is obviously just talk. We purchased all brand new appliances from them. Before first year was up, our dishwasher started leaking. Took them nearly 3 weeks to get repairman out. He changed the seal, ran a few loads with no leak, and we thought it was repaired. Month or so later, it began leaking again. Took several weeks for Boulevard to return our calls. Several more weeks before repairman could come out. He looks it over and said they'll be in touch, he needs to research the problem. Weeks later, they call and say we need a new inner door. We will be charged $79 for some parts. Of course, once again it was weeks before repair. This fiasco began when dishwasher was under warranty. It obviously wasn't fixed the first time, and now we must pay. This was about an 8 month ordeal. My cabinet was damaged from the dishwasher leaking. Don't risk this kind of service. We always try to shop local, but this is the exception.
