He had a few selected in his store but had about ten catalogs full of different style furniture to choose from. He gave us a good deal on a queen bed set and two couches . I am happy to say that I will be coming back to purchase my kids bedroom furniture . I feel that I was treated with much respect unlike other chain furniture stores . He also told us he had lay away options for whatever amount we could afford which was great for our budget .

We went down to talk to him and were told it was our problem to go home and try to adjust the seat. Good to know that we spent quite a lot of money with zero customer concern or service. We almost bought another couch from him, so glad we found the problem before we wasted our hard earned money. Will never ever buy anything from him again.

But it seemed really unnecessary for a business to make a light-hearted jaunt to an antique gift shop into something political. We took our money across the parking lot to the other antique shop, Gypsy Emporium, which was roughly 20x the size of this store (upstairs and downstairs) with endless aisles of antiques and homemade wares.

I asked around extensively about what washer and dryer to buy and several friends and family all recommended Speed Queen, which Stouts carries. We bought them and it is such a relief to have a bigger capacity machine that gets the job done. Whenever we shop furniture or appliances we always make sure to stop by Stouts in our searching. We also bought a mattress there which we have had and loved for well over a year now. My daughter is jealous and wishes we'd get another one so she could inherit it.

The corner was a perfect placement. L The sales staff at Ashley were cordial and accommodating. Kennedi greeted us at the entrance, and after listening to our dilemma, the oversized straight chair was first suggested. It was dismissed as not being cozy enough to curl up for an afternoon's nap. This circular chair, once presented, stopped the clock. The chair is firm and comfortable. The chair was selected on a Saturday and delivery was scheduled for the following Saturday. David volunteered to conclude the sale on Monday for a busy Kennedi. While some might have found the chair expensive ($600+) adding delivery and cleaning/replacement damage coverage brought total still under $1000. Oversized recliners are in this same ballpark. It is nice to buy local. Our delivery service was a TEN. The sale...seamless.

Boulevard Home's billing department is one of the worst I've dealt with. About eight years ago, we…read morepurchased a couch and a bed and paid thousands of dollars over time. Even after we had completely paid everything off, they kept telling us we still owed a balance. We went into the store and asked them to print every statement because our bank records clearly showed the account had been paid in full. Instead of resolving the issue, we were told their billing system had changed and they no longer had the records. I was furious. I escalated the issue and spoke with multiple people, but nobody was willing to help or take responsibility. The only response we got was essentially, "If you think you're right, sue us." A company that loses its own payment records and then expects the customer to deal with the consequences is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Boulevard Home.

After some searching, (because the area was not labeled), we found the toy section toward the back of the store and it was very bare. The toys that were there were poor quality, so I would not recommend this store if you are looking for kids toys. However, we did find a lot of treasures in the children's book section. There were A LOT of books, both for adults and children. The prices ranged from 50 cents to $1 and I paid just under $6 for 9 books. The woman who checked us out was very friendly and kind. I would recommend this store if you're in the market for home goods, furniture, clothing, shoes, and books, but skip it if you're looking for kids toys.
